Easy to book mooring. Gave us best spot ever! We love Norman Island so much and having Dockwa was so easy and convenient. Thank you and hope to see you soon!
The marina is beautiful and very well maintained. The dock assistant was very polite and helpful. However, for the price the amenities were disappointing. There is a $40 a day per person added charge to use the pool. The dockside restaurant was closed (all of Saturday night and at 6pm Sunday night.) The small coffee/snack cafe was also closed at the dock. When we tried to have a casual dinner and watch the Sox/Yankees Wild Card duel at Salt, the main restaurant at the hotel, only one TV was working and it was monopolized by one man watching college football. The second night we decided to go to a sports bar in town to watch the next game in the series. We called an Uber easily to get there but at 11pm we had to wait 45 minutes to find an available car home. All in all, for the dock fees, next time we will stay on the town dock to be closer to everything, without missing much at the marina.
We had a great stay. Well run moorings. Once sun sets it becomes quiet and calm with no traffic. Slept great! Best place to stay in Boston!!! Will come again and again.
Super friendly staff. Stayed here for 4 nights due to storms in the area. Our dinghy engine died when we first arrived and the manager lent us a skiff for the night so we could return to our boat after dinner. The next day their shop had the parts I needed to fix it. Not sure why anyone would ever pay more to stay on similar moorings. The walk into town is pleasant and lets you see areas not normally frequented when visiting the town center. Will happily stay here again.
Who needs a fancy marina when you can stay in the heart of Gloucester? This is a restaurant peer with no frills surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a working harbor. If you’re under 25 you’ll love the nightlife at the adjacent bar Gloucester House. If not… it quiets down around midnight. Will stay here again.
What an amazing little marina. No glitz and glamor but very hospitable, functional, and best location ever! Quiet, electric, water, trash bins... what else do you need? Will definitely stay here again... great bargain!
