Great town, great marina and tremendous staff.
We enjoyed our stay at Half Moon Bay Marina. We took a train into the city and spent some time there before returning to Half Moon Bay. Steve was very accommodating and we were confident our boat was secure and safe while we were away. The only down side was the wakes from the boat traffic kept us rocking and rolling until late in the evening. The night traffic was far less so no rocking and rolling through the night.
The docks were in very good condition. They were well protected and the dock hands were on the spot in helping getting into the slip. The showers and bathrooms were clean and convenient to the transient dock. The washers and dryers were not. It was a long walk to get to them and then only half of them worked at a time. Also, they were located in the men's and women's restrooms which meant unless you had both genders on board you could only use half of the machines. The restaurants at the Golden Nugget were very convenient, a bit over priced but then it is a casino. The jitney service was great making it possible to travel without any hassle. We also made use of Uber for grocery purchase. The Uber was only minutes away when we needed them.
Office personnel was helpful and informative. Dock hands were great and knowledgeable. They were slammed with boats coming in, yet they stayed around long enough to be friendly after we tied up.
