Considering what this could be, they've really missed the mark. This is another example of good city planning defeated by poor operation. Very nice bathroom building... locked with $10 padlocks. I made calls to City Hall at 4pm to 4 different departments, each went to voice mail. They did send someone who gave us a key, but it should not be required to raise hell to access bathrooms. They blamed vandalism, but none seen. North end of wall smells like fish guts so we had to move. Mud along wall. Very weak water pressure. I have an idea: Take care of your investment! Boaters also don't mind paying fair fees. Lots of moth type bugs after dark. Don't allow fishing at a boat dock.
Simple but functional. Pleasant museum included in dockage fee, showing the importance of the river to the development of the area, and the therefore the country.
Not expensive but also not protected from passing boat wakes. Very rolly. Restaurant far below expectations.
Westerly is a hidden gem. Well protected marina, super clean bathrooms and very helpful staff.
Very friendly and diverse yacht club members!
Noisy train norms and ferry horns all mooring., most of the night. Showers quite far away considering there is a toilet-bathroom right at the dock. Remodeling the existing bathrooms to include showers at the transient dock would make sense to me!
Pleasant and great coordination.
They're difficult to communicate with. Didn't answer their phone 9, 10, 11am one day and voice mail full. Sent a note with my Dockwa request and never got s response. Left a voice message another day and they never returned the call even though I reminded them on the radio that I left a voice message and to please call me. Another marina run by 20yr olds. No dinghy dock and thought my request was unusual. They couldn't accommodate a second night of mooring so we had to anchor off. Disappointing.
