Would normally give this type of marina 3 stars due to the lack of amenities ie no wifi, but the service and the location are tremendous. This town has it figured out for attracting boaters to spend money in the town. Good floating docks, power and water, easy walk to Publix, the boardwalk and restaurants. Well done.
Great stop. Excellent crew to help get the boat secured in windy conditions with some current. Quieted down very nicely in the evening for a good sleep. Highlight of this place though is the community and golf course to ride bikes thru, and the Historic Plantation ruins to visit. Very hospitable people. Lack of pool and spotty wifi means it doesn’t warrant 5 stars, but in every other respect a very good stop.
Great spot. All the attributes of a 5 star stop. Great location, being close to beach, shopping and entertainment; pool, good docks with long enough finger piers, excellent staff, good restaurant and bar, courtesy shuttle to beach and Publix. Only thing that detracts from 5 star rating is wifi service difficult to connect to as required a sign in page. Smart TV's can't do that and couldn't on computer either. Tablet and phone worked but still a bit spotty. No pump out facilities but lots of other fuel docks in area provide that and we can plan and work around that.
Marina sits in the River unprotected from wind. Makes for difficult docking and exit from face dock with NE wind blowing. Long walk up the dock to the building and facilities. Not much I the way of amenities to redeem it. Reasonable access to grocery and seafood store. Ok as an overnight stop but not much else to recommend it.
Outstanding stop. Don’t normally give a marina 5 stars, unless it has a good pool, But there are so many other good things to do here, it warrants an exception. Great location, excellent dockhand service, quality docks, in a boaters stop with lots to see and do. Will be back.
Wifi a bit weak at end of dock. Otherwise good. To rate as 5 stars marina must have a pool. This is a decent provisioning stop but wouldn't stay much longer.
