Dock boys were great! Very friendly folk on the docks. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the bathrooms are in dire need of renovation.
Coming from another Safe Harbor Marina, we have reserved a transient stay here every summer for the last 8 years. The well-trained staff is attentive, respectful and extremely helpful. Ryan is the best and the Facility is top notch in every way.
This is what a public facility should be. Organized and courteous staff, clean bathrooms, etc. Jim, the manager, is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Many good restaurants nearby within short walking distance.
Always a good time at this marina. Professional and courteous staff. Had a good dinner at “Siren”, the on-premises restaurant. Also had a nice dinner at Dockside Restaurant at the nearby Safe Harbor Dauntless Marina. Breakfast at Olive Oyles, a short walk into town.
Super attentive staff, nice restaurants & best lobster roll next door at Lobster Landing. I would give it 5 stars if the docks were in better shape.
Stayed here several times over the years. This is definitely the best Brewer/Safe Harbor Marina on the Long Island Sound. Easy in/out of harbor, friendly, professional and accommodating staff and the facility is well maintained. Boom restaurant on premises is also very good, although I wish it was open for breakfast. Simon's Market has a converted shipping container at the Marina where you can get breakfast, but only on the weekends (it is closed during the week). However, Simon's main store is a short walk being located next to the entrance to the marina. The reason for leaving off one star is that Westbrook itself has little to offer, but Essex is fairly close by.
