We stayed on a mooring for a three day weekend in July. Maryanne is so helpful and accommodating with scheduling...Lydia was amazing as a deckhand...The downtown location is perfect...The bathrooms are clean. Such a great time...planning to visit again next year...Thank you!
The entrance to the harbor is well marked. It is advisable to call ahead to ask for the bridge to be raised if you are concerned about your mast height. The moorings are tight but once tethered both bow and stern it is a peaceful place to seek safe harbor and enjoy all that this lovely town has to offer. The Harbormaster and Assistant are very accessible and helpful with any questions you may have. The cost is very fair. It is beyond picturesque!
In the heart of Southport… Very well managed and clean… Professional and courteous…Upon entrance to the channel you go through the two tall pilings and follow the red and green boueys closely…No real current to be concerned about for docking.
