Gloucester Harbor Moorings are a great option to enjoy Gloucester by water or by land. Very well marked moorings. They have a dingy dock walking distance to restaurants and the boulevard or they also have a launch if needed.
We enjoyed our time in Oak Bluffs on a mooring. To us it is the best place to work on our boat and then relax for the evening. We have been visiting OB Harbor for 30 years now.. The staff is great, the pump out guy is a great guy! My only suggestion would be to enforce that smaller boats find a mooring/raft in rows 1-7 and raft with boats of similar size.. Row 9 and 10 should be utilized for larger boats that need more swing room when rafted. We will be back to Oak Bluffs for our annual adventure.
We had a great night on Flyer's Moorings. They have a launch that runs from 8am-6pm from Flyers and then 7-11pm from McMillian Wharf. We were not aware of the late launch, wish we were told but know for next time. Thank you Flyers, we will be back.
Fantastic Marina to stay at, well run and a beautiful location. Roland, Allie and their staff are true professional's who know how to run a marina and take care of all of their guest needs.
My husband and I had the pleasure of being a guest at Point Independence Yacht Club for 5 night. From the reservation to the day we left, The Steward Steve and his staff were fantastic. The boat owners are very nice and they keep their boat in fantastic shape. We look forward to docking here again. Thank you PIYC.. :-)
Beautiful island but, It took us three try’s to get a mooring that had a safe line on it. Then 10 boats rafted with extremely loud music! No consideration for others! Also it is very bouncy due to the wakes from passing boats. I wish Boston police would monitor and control the yahoo’s who make it less relaxing for others!
We had a wonderful weekend. The dock staff were great. Thank you.
Sunset Bay Marina is a pleasure to stay at. Dave and his crew are very accommodating and very helpful. The sunset is definitely the best in all of Boston!
