We love the Townsend Manor Inn & Marina. We have been going there for over 14 years and little has changed. That's good and bad. The staff is friendly and helpful, the pool is always clean and the snack shack makes the best frozen drinks. The main bar serves very good food, when open. Our only complaint is the marina bathrooms could be upgraded and the decking, along the bulkhead, should be repaired.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The marine store was very convenient. The only down side was the decking and picnic tables were old and in need of replacing.
We were do in on Friday, Sept. 23rd, staying for 2 nights. The winds were out of the NW at 30 MPH, gusting to 35/40 MPH. We received a phone call from Sean early that afternoon advising us the the marina was like "A washing machine" and that if we wanted to cancel Friday that we would get a full refund. We cancelled and came in on Saturday morning. Ryan and the crew were great, we were able to be within a few slips of the 3 other boats we traveled with and enjoyed the day, including the music at the s Shack. John D.
The weather was perfect, the fellow mariners were, for the most part, courteous and Steve was very accommodating and helpful. Looking forward to our next trip there.
