Always a great stay! Henry and Josh take good care of transient boaters...clean, modern bath facilities and complementary golf carts to ride into Belhaven (which is easily walkable as well). Gotta eat at Spoon River while you’re there...ethereal setting and expertly prepared food.
Just reopened after Irma. Debbie, the wonderful dock master whose warm personality and supreme service orientation complement the attractive and upgraded physical plant, deserves accolades and kudos!
Wonderful marina with a very competent and helpful Dockmaster, Jay Sheely. The marina provided a complimentary coffee service in a cozy lounge for transients and slip holders. A large deck with complimentary gas grill overlooked the Waccamaw River and there were an abundance of places to catch a beautiful sunset.
The physical plant at Haven Harbour is very nice, and the staff are helpful. However, we were surprised and disappointed to have to pay 1 1/2 times the normal slip rate for our 38' x 19 1/2' beam catamaran. We were berthed beside/across from a number of wide beamed craft that would normally be charged $3.00 per foot, which is not inexpensive in its own right, but is what we expected. What made it unacceptable was the fact that none of this was disclosed to us as we made reservations! Not good form and we likely won't be back...
