Safe and secure marina, right in the heart of Charlestown and within an easy walk to Bunker Hill, North Station area and the North End of Boston. A very reasonably priced stay considering the nearby attractions. Great assistance provided while coming in on the approach for tie up.
Safe, Clean and well managed facility - the boaters visitor center restroom facilities are great but are closed between 7pm and 0700am, this should be improved as the facilities are "code access only" for overnight boaters so having this time restriction is odd. Anyone considering a visit to downtown NBPT by boat will not be disappointed. Easy access to a beautifully historic downtown, great restaurants and shops. The City has one of the better public boating facilities in the Northeast.
Prompt response to reservation request, safe, secure, clean and well maintained facilities.
What better way to visit Marblehead than by boat!. The HarborMaster has a simple and easy way to mark your intended tie up, no fuss, easy in easy out. Dockwa is really helping marinas by making very efficient use of available slots. The perfect partnership with boaters getting the benefit.
Used a city mooring for 3 consecutive nights to wait out a passing storm. The mooring fields are well maintained are in a location with quick access to downtown. The Launch Masters are very polite and attentive, even though that service the entire harbor with a single launch. Dockwa makes the whole reservation/payment process a breeze.
It was our first time staying at the Wentworth Marina and we were not at all disappointed with the marina, Truly a first class, well maintain marina with great security, friendly staff, even provide 2 loner cars in case you need to run to town and the Dock hand Lucy was great at our arrival. Boaters beware, if you are planning on going into Portsmouth for the day or evening be prepared for long waits for cabs in either direction. The local story is that Uber and Lyft destroyed the local Portsmouth cab companies and then the Uber/Lyft drivers dried up. We waited for over an hour each time to catch cabs for downtown runs, a destination that is only about 3 miles away. If you have a OB dinghy I suggest you bring it and run yourself downtown to Prescott Park and tie up there.
