Staff was very friendly & courteus, Primary rest rooms were clean & grounds were well kept. Black Market Bakery on the premisis was a plus. The availablilty of the wtaer taxi was great. We will be returning & hopefull get 'D' Dock again.
July 2021: Our first time here and we love the marina and will be back. Area is well maintained and restrooms are very, very clean. Lots of area for dog walking. We would recommend installing gas grills as in other Safe Harbor marinas. Our only issue was with the shower by the restaurant; could not get cold water; had to turn the faucet off and let it cool down before completing a shower. July 2023 Update: We loved our stay at the marina. The floating docks are a PLUS. Restrooms are beautiful, the pool and pool bar are enjoyable, and the new restaurant on site, La Vela, is fantastic. Dave, our dockmaster, was courteous and very helpful. We will definitely return.
September 20-21,2021: Enjoyable as always. Staff is courteous and accommodating. We will be back and recommend HHS to all our boating friends. We truly appreciate them working with us when we had to cut our stay short due to impending bad weather. July 202: Still one of our favorites to visit. Staff is great. Restrooms are very clean. We love the pool. There is still an issue with hot water in some bathhouses e.g. hot is cold and cold is hot in a few of the showers so be careful. Also, on drain was clogged. Otherwise no issues and we will visit again and again. One of our favorite marinas to visit. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Our only complaint was lack of hot water and water pressure in the bath house.
June 2021 - Love staying here as we enjoy the area and all amenities of the Hyatt. Sarah and dock assistants are great and we love the floating dock when we can get it. The marina is in need of a long overdue upgrade. We found the shower facilities to be clean however there is a nasty smell in the restroom areas. As noted last year we hope Blue Point Provision will reopen soon as it was a great restaurant. 2020 -We enjoyed our stay, although brief due to bad weather. Dockmaster and dockhands were great. We were on the floating dock which was a pleasure. The marina does need some upgrades as the docks are getting worn. It was a pleasure to find the nasty smell which has been in the restroom/bathhouse for years has been corrected but the showers could use a good cleaning. As always the Hyatt in Cambridge is a beautiful resort with lots of amenities. We also used a local taxi service to take us to a local restaurant, Snappers, which was very good. We hope the Blue Point Provision Company will be open next season as we really enjoy eating there. We will be back.
June 2021 - Love the floating docks! The marina looks great and we thoroughly enjoy our time in Oxford and will continue to stay at this marina. Jeff is very helpful, courteous and friendly. Our only issue with the marina is the lack of lighting in the dock area as nighttime visibility is very poor. October 2020 - We were happy to be able to get back to Oxford now that phase 1 of the dock work was completed. We love the town of Oxford and we really enjoy stating at this marina. We do strongly recommend that the docks be furnished with lighting as it is very dark and could be dangerous walking the docks after dark. Additionally, we had issues the the WIFI connection and suggest boosters be placed along the docks to improve service. The dock work completed to date is very well done. We will be back next season. This is an older review - We enjoyed our stay at the Oxford Marina and Boat Yard. We were disappointed that there is no longer a complimentary continental breakfast available. Additionally, there was no water on "G" dock which was a great inconvenience to a couple we were traveling with. Seems not much was being done to correct the problem as the line broke on Friday and still no water on Sunday. We will definitely stay at this marina in the future.
