Excellent location (protected from wind and current) with great options for restaurants, central to HHI. Docks in good condition, surroundings pleasant, good walking and biking. Our only negative is the water depth. At low tide there is very little water below the keel, constant mud churned up by props and ingested by engines. Avoid low tide coming and going if possible. Marina reported they hope to have the basin dredged in 2026.
They lived up to their reputation of being the friendliest marina. Also very professional, especially Skye (dockmaster) whom assisted our arrival with solid info on tide, currents and wind with masterful communications. Nice facilities, safe and secure.
The marina and staff are great! This is a 'must stop' along the ICW, their access and proximity to wonderful history and amenities is unparalleled.
Wonderful facilities, great staff, only downside is a slight smell of sewerage along the back bulkhead (we presume this is from stagnant waters opposite the harbor entry).
