Tidewater Yachts is my go to marina for events on the water in and around Norfolk and Portsmouth, VA. The rest rooms and showers are clean, staff accomodating and responsive. A Ferry landing is in walking distance if you want to go across river and visit Norfolk to enjoy restaurants or visit Nauticus.

Staff is super. Nice facilities. Currents are strong due to tides yet manageable. Beaufort is a nice southern city to walk or tour.
I stay at Blue Water typically once or twice a year and have always received great service and consideration by the staff. The amenities are great. Love the pool and showers and heads. With The Surf Rider restaurant on Site dinning is great.
Cape Charles Municipal Marina is a great place to stay for the night. THe on location restaurant, The Shanty, is the hot spot for Cape Charles. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Courteous Marina staff, cleas showers and rest rooms.
