Really enjoyed this very well protected marina. Had reservation for Jan 11 & 12, then high wind & wave forecast necessitated that we stay 2 more nights. Staff was very accommodating. Less than mile walk to quaint downtown Gulfport, and an easy 6 mi Uber ride to St Pete & Dali Museum. Thanks Gulfport Muni Marina!
The dockmaster could not have been nicer. Donnie, a Paducah Ambassador met us at the dock & walked us into town, he was fabulous. The dock is new and in great shape. However, the City needs to step up: having a pump out down for weeks & weeks (per boater comments) when you are the first marina many of us have seen in 200 miles is ridiculous; not having staff at the dock on VHF radio is UNSAFE.
Dockmaster Steve could not have been more accommodating and attentive; he seems to go the extra mile for all. We connected to Wi-Fi, met many other Loopers (always the best bunch!), went for a walk on a trail along the Hudson, great experience! Thanks Steve!
