The BHSC needs to let folks know they are no longer connected to Rowes Wharf. No showers. Rest rooms or laundry. Drop off is at the Aquarium dock - climb up tires- or Barking Crab - walk thru there trash area. The launch is great and Eric was really helpful showing us the public docks at Barking Crab where we were able to lock the dinghy to stay out later than 9pm when the launch stops. Launches could use some TLC….. Moorings are really centrally located and convenient for exploring Boston ….

The best! If you are sailing in the Windwards and we’re thinking of passing by Marigot Bay in St Lucia - DON’T! It is a great spot and the staff at the Marina are top notch!! I was there, on a slip, by myself while my husband flew back to the states and everyone took great care to make sure I was safe and had everything I needed. You can take a med moor or grab a mooring and you will be well assisted in both cases. As a Marina guest you have usage of the resort pools, bars and restaurants. They will help you rent a car for island exploring, have laundry service and awesome folks to support boat repairs and projects. Imbert actually drove to Rodney Bay, picked up a new air conditioning pump and installed it! The area has water taxis to a beach, a great hike and there are a few other fun restaurants. We will be back and it will feel a bit like coming home.

We did not have a good stay here. Moorings are not set up to handle a boat our length - which is 46’ . We swung back on a mooring with a smaller boat and that ball was less than 5’ from our boat. We called - now it is dark and late and a nice man came out. He helped us move to new mooring. As he led us to the new location he lead us right into an unused mooring with three lines floating in The water, unmarked and going every which way. A miracle we missed getting them caught up. We settled in the new mooring and low and behold that unused mooring was 3-5 ‘ off our stern with loose pendants floating that were very hard to see. Suffice it to say a refund would be appreciated. We missed our 5:30am leave window as we were exhausted and had a limited night of sleep.

Quaint location. East exposure so not the best choice for string east winds - but the mooring was great and we weathered the winds. Dinghy dock is close which is great - but very crowded dinghy dock so a bit challenging for the tie up. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

As always the outer harbor is a bit of a ride - but nice to take the dinghy into the dock.

Marina Response:
yes our outer harbor moorings for vessels over 40' LOA can be rough. we are careful to post this on our website and also give a personal warning via message through Dockwa. Thank you for not taking points off about a situation you were aware of like others have in the past. We truly appreciate that! Moving forward, we are actively seeking to have a mooring or 2 inner harbor for larger vessels but with a 20 year wait for moorings in the harbor it is not easy. thanks again hope to see you soon!

Fabulous place to grab a mooring right in the heart of Boston. A little bouncy and lots of ferries and tourist boats but it was all part of the sites and sounds of being in the city. Marina staff is considerate and helpful and the facilities are spotless. We had a great three day stay.
