Great experience. We needed a transient slip with an arrival at night, and despite being full, they found a way to put us in one slip that was vacant. Very kind and responsive. I would definitely go back Second stay: fantastic marina. Very helpful crew and a perfect place to stage before heading south.
One of the friendliest and most convenient marinas on a trip up or down the east coast. Always a favorite on our passages north or south.
Friendly and helpful staff. Safe and protected harbor from all directions. Small and dirty trailer for a shower. No laundry. No Wi-Fi. No courtesy car.
Jeremy and Marty are outstanding and so helpful. A very pleasant stay. Thank you for all the accommodations
It’s one of my favorite stops on my trip north to Maine and south to Florida. Over the years I’ve always enjoyed my stay at Little Creek marina. I arrived late yesterday due to engine problems and was met by Jeremy and his dock crew to assist with docking. It was way beyond the call of duty and much appreciated. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jeremy is always prompt with returning calls.
Called in for a slip assignment.. Jeremy met us at the slip and assisted in docking.. Everything was very clean. No issues at all.
Very nice marina in an easily accessible location to the Chesapeake. Currently undergoing some dock improvements which when finished should add to this marina's appeal.
Excellent. Management staff was very generous and helpful.
Great place, friendly and professional dock master.
Awesome place to stay!
They are under construction. No Wi-Fi and trailer for showers and heads . But very nice and simple spot.
Great little Marina , Marty and Jeremy I really great dock masters and nothing is to much. Easy Uber access to the local shops , pretty surroundings what more could you want !
Perfect for our needs! Area under construction but everyone was friendly and helpful when we needed anything!
Welcoming staff, tidy marina.
Very friendly helpful dock masters. Currently under renovation, but floating docks are good. Will use on future trips.
A great little marina Jeremey and Marty are helpful and accommodating to all their guests. A friendly neighborhood kinda vibe. Walking distance to 4 or 5 restaurants a short Uber ride to the airport. Nearby grocery and gym. The docks are newer well constructed floating docks and little creek is very protected. Located in a very upscale neighborhood you can walk anywhere dogs welcome. We have stayed two summer seasons wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Phil, Robbyn and sailing Pom Willoughby on Parallax
Great marina. Friendly professional staff, convenient location and local suppliers.
Stay was great! The crew was amazing helping us get in the dock safely and were very attentive. Thanks so much!
Excellent Marina Operations.
Little creek was a great location. Although there is construction it’s an easy walk to a fantastic restaurant, Longboards. The communication prior to arrival was very detailed and helpful.
Management was courteous, flexible, and very informative however, marina needs more parking spaces.
Very accommodating staff is great! Will definitely return
The crew was super accommodating and helpful
Marty was super helpful and made our stay perfect! We will be back!
Simple little marina. Everything that we expected. Easy Uber to town. Easy fuel right across at Cobbs.
Outstanding marina! Super convenient for a transient stopover when entering / exiting the Chesapeake. Incredibly friendly & helpful staff. Docks are in great shape. They gave great instructions for coming in, and met us at the dock with several staff on arrival. With Dockwa, we never even needed to check-in at the office. Really streamlined and seamless process and will definitely be back here again. Thanks Jeremy & team!
Had a great stay at Little Creek! Marty was a great, flexible host and the location is terrific. We hope to return again soon.
It was good. Restrooms and showers in a trailer are ok but a bit smelly. No wifi available.
Nice protected dockage and friendly people! Stayed four nights!
Great marina, crew was great, everyone was friendly, some even offered car rides to foodline...great views, rates are good..will do it agian next year..
Great place to stop over, easy access, nice docks, laid back marina. The longboard restaurant is less than 10min walk, brewery is another couple blocks. We also walked to a grocery store called Lion which was 1.2miles and ubered back. We will be back! Thanks
Great marina great staff quick ocean access beautiful beaches within walking distances
All good with one caveat. I tied up bow in and the slip was too short to secure a proper stern line. Stern in would not have been an issue as there were pilings port and starboard I could've sprung to.
good, fast and directly communication, good berth place, good to invest in the Marina
Extremely nice people who were incredibly responsive in answering our questions prior to arrival. This was our second visit here. It however appears more oriented to seasonal boaters than to transients, thus its services and facilities are more limited than in marinas actively serving transients.
We had a wonderful stay! Management team was great and made sure we had everything we needed! Definitely recommend Little Creek Marina!
Mia, Jeremy, and Matt are the best. Good folks who do great work. Thanks!
Lacked ammenities. Fuel Pump out wasn't working. Although you didn't have to go far when your paying a marina the same price as others they should have same comparable amenities. other marinas I have stayed at had club houses showers etc. The marina I'm currently at has showers. bathrooms. courtesy bikes courtesy laundry and the are less expensive as well. Jeremy was excellent, Mia was very stressful telling me I had to leave when she.had plenty of ro..stayed a week. over all even after was told I had to leave for they had available slips.
Original Dockwa amenities listed laundry and pumpout. The laundry has since been removed from the listing as they don't have it. Pumpout was apparently broken. Bathrooms currently located in a trailer were dirty and out of toilet paper for 2 days in both men and woman's. Note that the office is closed on Sundays so ensure you have bathroom codes and slip assignment in advance if arriving on a Sunday.
Made a reservation day prior to arrival. Received a message with arrival instructions but was not informed that office would be closed on day of arrival. Also was not provided codes to bathrooms or any other information about facilities. Bathrooms were in a portable unit and were hot and filthy.
Really nice docks and the surrounding neighborhood is lovely. The staff is helpful and friendly. The only garbage can is a dumpster for the condos which is strange and could be problematic. Don’t be fooled by the advertisement for nice facilities and a pool, shown in the ad we called from. They don’t exist yet, just a dirt construction site. There is only a trailer with a cramped toilet and rickety shower stall. We used our boat’s facilities and were fine with that. But I do believe in not false advertising.
The floating docks were very nice and felt quite secure during some storms and high winds. The GM - Matt - was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely stay there again.
Friendly, no frills, floating dock marina close to diesel, laundry, restaurants, and food shopping.
Amazing marina! Great staff, community activities and boatyard. Love having recycling for engine fluids and batteries as well! Lots of good places to eat, post office, liquor store and West Marine all within walking distance.
Very good communication as we were coming in, and timely. We are so looking forward to you getting your shore facilities replaced as showers before bedtime would have been great after the hot sailing day. I still appreciate you working us into a slip as it was handy to the CCC skippers' mtg. Perhaps next year we can have skippers' meeting at your marina!
App messages were prompt and informative. Manager even provided work cell number for texting. Dock space was inadequate for an outboard motor. Spot location was difficult to get into and out of. Landing between boats was about 4 feet by they have a boat box on it making it nearly impossible to get onto the boat in the dock. Boards on dock were broken and rotted and my foot went through a hole.
Very friendly staff, beautiful marina, great restaurants and bars down the street, quiet neighborhood, and quick access to the ocean!
The staff are incredibly rude, unprofessional and unavailable. They have absolutely no people skills and should not be in the business of dealing with the public. It is difficult to access the parking area and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I grew up boating here and I was very disappointed with the treatment received by the current management.
Marina still has construction going on. The showers / bathrooms are a trailer and there is no laundry. The fingers on the floating dock are a bit small and sink when you step onto them. Dockmaster was awesome. Helpful and just seemed like a good guy. 2 restaurants within a short walk. Electric & water hookups were newer and in good condition.
No staff available/no answer to repeated VHF/arrived before closing/phone not answered/left message/responded 1 hour after we docked with liveaboard assistance/I demand a rebate/avoid this marina/worst experience in 35 years
The Pros: The location is a lot of fun. It’s less than 15 minutes to walk to the beach, the Saturday Farmer’s Market, or Cova Brewery & Coffeehouse, which has different food trucks every day. The neighborhood is great, we walked around every day and it’s beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and when we had issues they did try to fix them. The docks were relatively new, floating docks, with good access to power and water. The cons: the building in front of the docks, including the marina office, is under construction. There is a trailer with showers and a toilet, but they were neither clean nor well stocked. There was constantly no toilet paper. Packages were delivered to the wrong place. I’m sure it’s going to be an awesome marina when the construction is done (Spring 2022) but it was a tough visit in the meantime.
No one answered radio or phone. No employees anywhere on dock to help. Had to call manager cell to get slip number and direction.
Marina is undergoing some renovations. Everything was adequate, but basic.
The 5 star review isn't for a perfect marina, it's for a place that always does their best to accommodate folks, even amid their current construction/reconstruction. As a delivery skipper, i alway appreciate the way Matt has found the means to accommodate me and my clients during last minute weather or mechanical repair stops. He not only provides space, he offers help with a ride or info. Yes it's under construction. Yes they may not have all the amenities currently. But good people and a GREAT location. Thanks Matt - this was the third time you saved my crew.
Matt who runs the marina provided great support with pump out. Temporary shower facilities are small and could be much better - but construction in the area makes this understandable. Wonderful area to walk around and good dinner experience at Longboards within walking distance.
Showers and toilets are basically a fancy porta-potty, not very clean, and the entire marina is a construction site. Next time I'd consider alternatives in the basin if available - maybe things will improve when construction finishes.
Wonderful Marina. Right in a very cute safe neighborhood (to walk around and stretch your legs). There is a significant amount of construction going on near the Marina but the dock master was so helpful throughout our stay that we didn’t mind one bit
It was a little windy since we had Hurricane Isaiah passing over head. Matt the manager was key to our enjoyment. He was a great guy.
Marina is under refit/repairs but Matt made it possible to park Watermark at the next marina dock. He was also there to help us tie up in a brisk wind. Several great restaurants on site with take out. This remains our go-to stop between the Chesapeake and start of the ICW.
