Diesel $4.75/gal
Beaufort Town Docks is one of the most popular stops for cruisers and sailors traveling the Intracoastal Waterway. This all-transient marina features 42 floating docks accommodating vessels up to 55 feet, along with over 850 linear feet of side-tie dockage for vessels up to 250 feet. Every slip offers fuel service directly at the dock for maximum convenience. Ideally positioned for coastal cruising, Beaufort serves as a strategic gateway to the islands, with the Gulf Stream typically just 30 miles offshore—making it an excellent stop for both short stays and offshore passage planning. No marina is closer to the inlet or the exceptional dining, shopping, and attractions of historic downtown Beaufort.
Stayed at Beaufort Town Docks on our northbound ICW trip. Great dockhands!! Courteous and knowledgeable. Nice centrally located marina close to a variety of restaurants and shops. Fueled up with diesel right at our slip. The closest restrooms were not dedicated to the marina. Dedicated marina restrooms and showers were a bit of a walk down the dock from our slip so we chose not to use them. Would stay there again.
Great protection! Can’t beat the location. Friendly and helpful staff. Only issue was bathrooms were locked in the am. Not sure if they wait til they open. Could use a lock pad with a code.
We arrived early and the Marina and dockhands were readily aviailable. Easy to book my vessel and looking forward to returning. Many thanks from Boat Drinks.
Very nice facilities with courteous, helpful staff.
The location of this marina is its selling point but what really makes this marina special is the kind and dedicated staff. The new management is wonderful and the dockhands truly go out of their way to make sure that the marina guests are taken care of. We look forward to our return and are hoping for a new bath house next time!
Jacob and his crew provided us with exceptional service during the Big Rock Tournament. We look forward to our next stay at Beaufort Docks and always highly recommend the facility to anyone passing through.
Solid socks. Dock power was bad but they are replacing alot of it soon so it will improve.
Great spot with fabulous and knowledgeable dock hands! Everyone was so nice! We will definitely return!
Wow! We had a fantastic first stay at the Beaufort Town Docks, and we're especially grateful for the great dockmasters. As new sailors, we really appreciated how helpful and encouraging the team was in getting our boat in and out of the slip despite the tricky currents and rain. The location is perfect! We enjoyed live music right from our slip and loved being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. We can't wait to come back!
We've been staying at Beaufort Town Docks for 40 years; this was our first time under new F3 management; it was a good experience. New staff are courteous and competent; we'll be back.
Fine marina right on the downtown Boardwalk. I enjoyed biking around town to see the beautiful southern architecture. The Marina crew was very helpful. Docks and utilities in great shape.
Docking team is fabulous! Directed us right into tight slip and helped us again when we departed. Provided great information on local activities and restaurants.
Terrific marina and best fuel price we have seen so far past week. Great help help with fuel ( in slip ) and docking. Pump out area occupied by big sailing vessel and just wish we could have pumped out. Recommend marina but if you need to pump out I would call them on way and ask.
Clean facilities, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location.
Great location and very good value. I plan to return.
Dock crew were awesome friendly and helpful. The loaner cars are a great help in getting supplies in town.
It was a Sunday and most of the town was closed.
Great location for access to downtown restaurants, shops, ice cream, etc. Saturday morning market a few blocks away and we awoke to a marching band playing "Anchors Aweigh" for the start of the 5K run. If you're looking for entertainment this is a great stop. Not so easy to get marine parts or service close by, but it's a tourist stop. The dockhands were first class and very helpful. Watch out for the ripping currents and try to time your arrival and departure with the slack tide/current.
Had a great overnight stay at the Town Docks. Staff was extremely helpful from docking assistance to offering a loaner car to shop for supplies. Thank you Sarah and Payton. Looking forward to staying there again in the fall!
Amazing staff, lovely town. Very easy to get in and out from offshore passage!
5 Stars . Marina, staff and town are great. Love the place
Nice location. Helpful staff
Beautiful dockage with friendly and prompt staff. Right in the heart of the historic downtown!
Great service !! Friendly dock people
New management is making improvements. Dock staff is very helpful. Fuel was not available but referral to a neighboring facility solved that problem. Restrooms remain crude. But overall, a good experience. We'll be back and look forward to new management's continued progress.
The new ownership is great. Good staff and registration systems caught up to modern times
Great location and nice docks. We’d stay there again. Only bummer this time was they don’t have fuel due to some permitting delays.
Location location location. This is the place to stay if you want to be right in beautiful downtown Beaufort. We got a last minute reservation which was great. The bathroom available to use is just the public bathroom which needs some attention as the toilet took a couple flushes to flush a #1 and no water at all came out of the hot water tap. Can't speak to the showers as I didn't use them.
Dock help is good as is location to town but restroom and in town laundry facilities should be torn down
Six months ago I would’ve easily gave this Marina five stars as we have been staying here for many many years. The town of Beaufort hired a new management company F3 Marina’s. We used to come here a minimum of twice a year for two weeks at a time and we have found out from many other boaters that they have doubled their price of transient dockage to $3.75/foot with a 50 foot minimum. They also jacked up their 50 amp nightly electric to 30.00/night. They are now by far the most expensive marina in all of North and South Carolina. Just FYI !!!
Called to get instructions for day docking and was given clear instructions to dock at the west end by the public restrooms. Signage was present and a dock hand was there to help. He explained how to use the app to make a reservation for our spot which is a new requirement and will take some time for folks to adjust but its nice to be able to reserve a spot ahead of time. Use the promo/coupon code "daydock" and the reservation is free for 3 hours. Not sure how much it is beyond three hours. Thankful to be able to enjoy the waterfront by boat and for the new management providing a wonderful service to the boating community, local and from abroad.
Great location and the staff were super helpful
Nice to have your people help explain the new policy for this marina..:we didn’t know about the change but it makes sense! Thank you!
Stayed here in January. They took great care of us even with snow on the docks. Made sure we had everything we needed and helped us get the best value for our stay. Much friendlier and helpful staff than the past. Plan to stop again in April.
Friendly and helpful staff. The docks are in moderate condition. The restrooms are showers are in very poor condition. The showers look as if they have never been cleaned properly. This may be staining. But it looks filthy.
Jacob and Lori were great! Definitely will stay there again.
Our stay was excellent; Lori, the new manager, took great care of us and even loaned us her personal car for supply trips while the new management company prepared the dock cars. Good slips, good facilities and great access to downtown Beaufort. Highly recommended.
I booked a slip for the weekend online and called 2 times to confirm and make sure I knew where to go. We drove down with our boat on Friday. Checked the website and said they close at 7. We arrived at 6:08 PM and no one was in the office or answered the phone. The office door said they were open until sunset, which is around 7:30 PM this time of year. I checked at the restaurant next door and they said to knock and keep calling. I did this for another 30 minutes and realized it wasn’t working. We ended up just driving our boat back home. So disappointed that there weren’t after hours instructions or someone answering the phone to let us know what to do. The man I spoke to never said they close early. This ruined my daughter’s boating birthday weekend.
Mike and his team were excellent. I had arrived by boat from Atlantic City and it was getting dark. The hotel I booked boasts a marina, but it doesn't have slips for its guests. Beaufort Docks welcomed me when most options had gone home for the night. Highly recommend them. Beaufort hospitality!
One of our favorites! Having a new crew this season I was curious to see how they would like Beaufort Town Docks. As suspected, they said “that is a must-stop” on every trip north and south.” The only thing that stinks is that we seldom stop for more than one night when moving the boat. This years heading south we’ll try to stay longer! ~Capt. David - M/Y Magnum Ride
We were meant to stay a night and ended up staying a week! Mike was extremely accommodating and provided us with great service. An excellent marina with everything you need. Downtown is right there and the marina has clean washroom facilities. The laundry is at the back of the general store just across the road, it's the best marina laundry I have ever used! Restaurant are a stones throw away. we look forward to our return trip later this year. Thank you for hosting us. - Dean & Alka Bromiley
THE best stop in NC!
