Salmon Point Resort

I do not use this facility as a camper but the clientele & facilities appear to be top notch. I store my boat there and use their marina. I have not seen a facility as accommodating, guest friendly features or as well kept as this place. It's truly gorgeous and certainly inexpensive.

We stayed here with a number of other families with young children. It's greatest shortcoming was its surprisingly poor customer service and unfriendliness toward our young kids. The site manager was on edge and unpredictable, and unprovoked, actually lost her cool on more than one occasion. When we arrived, despite having made our reservation well in advance, the manager told us that we hadn't - and that we could not stay! What?! The outdoor pool was not yet operational despite promises that it would be ready. At the last night of our stay, the site manager interrupted our multi-family dinner, and made a big scene bursting with hostility, launching inaccurate accusations about avoidance of paying of registration fees toward me and another parent. Simply unacceptable! She also complained that some children playing outside,"unsupervised." Our kids spent a minute in the games room and never returned. Our kids spent a few minutes in the small playground but lost interest quickly. The adult hot tub was closed at 9pm despite the promise of 10pm. The pool was closed despite promises otherwise.
