Love staying at Oak Harborl! People are helpful and friendly and guest moorage is very accessible.
We spent a year and a half at Oak Harbor Marina. The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. We could not ask for more than that. We like the facility there and will be back when we get our next boat!
We arrived on an incredibly windy day with 28 kn winds getting into slip. Received much needed help from boaters on dock. Marina staff kept us informed of the situation in Marina.
We stay at the marina during crab season. Crabbing is fun, and having your boat at the marina makes it so easy. No launch wait time, no worry about low tides. Very convenient.
Easy reservation. Liked the fuel discount that you offer if you spend the night.
You’ll never find a friendlier staff and they helped us dock the boat. It can be a little windy in that harbor so we were grateful for the assistance. Duncan is an asset to the staff.
Quick, accurate and friendly responses. Well tended facility.
I know you can't change the design of the boat launch but it is poor. The slope is too shallow which requires backing the truck into the saltwater. My tires were at least 6" deep. I saw a couple of people brought there own hose to wash down their rigs. The other issue is the location of the pilings. They are outside the float making it an issue with maneuvering the boat around the pilings and complicates bringing the boat into the float. Our dock space was good, the porta-potty and the restroom was ,
Very nice marina. Great facilities, friendly and helpful personnel. Lots of room!
Great staff and great event (Hydros for Heroes). Would be nice if they’d add electric mini-car use like Kingston has!
Amazing guest dock facilities with plenty of gathering spaces for groups. Very friendly and attentive port staff made this stay delightful.
It was great and the people are so nice and helpful.
We love the Oak Harbor marina. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the internet connection. It was unavailable to us for most of our stay.
I love Oak Harbor, the staff is so helpful and friendly. The price for fuel is always great with discount if you stay. The music festival Labor Day weekend is really fun. We stop there on our way to San Juan’s. Update still great
Friendly people, very welcoming. Particularly glad to see Alyce is still greeting boaters. Good gas prices. Appreciate the block ice at the dock
Helpful, kind staff; quick response to questions; nice location - protected and good for walking into town.
Nice docks and interesting town. Long walk to bathrooms and only had one shower with a tiny door and dressing area. The water to the docks and dockside bathrooms was turned off the first day. But, they got it repaired the next morning.
We happened to arrive during the High School national sailing championships. What a treat to see the motivation of these young adults. The marina is very clean and organized.
Always pleasant at this marina with nice views and great staff. A nice walk into old Town Oak Harbor with great restaurants and coffee shops. Beaver Tales coffee right across street from yacht club. One of the most welcoming yacht clubs (OHYC) with a full menu !
I’m not sure where you got this information. We are (and have been) permanent tenants at Oak Harbor Marina. Yes, we were there Feb 1 and for months prior to and follow this date
Why are you asking for my review? I am a permanent moorage customer. Asking for my review of a stay from 8 months ago is total nonsense. The 5 stars goes to Oak Harbor's staff. On the other hand Dodkwa is a complete PITA.
Rate Increase seems excessive. Crew and staffing are excellent
Eclectic old marina run by nice people. City within walking distance. Layed out well in a pretty bay and out of the tourist highway to the San Juans. Downtown is uncrowded with a different kind of charm. Good selections of coffee shops and restaurants. Docks are old but serviceable and safe.
All was fine, but we are getting older and that long walk from F47 is not something we can do for many more years.
Our stay was fantastic. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. We love the convenience of the fuel dock and the pump out station. It is beautiful, especially early in the morning when the surface of the water is calm.
Easy in and out. Great amenities. Night view of town is lovely
We have stayed at this Marina many times over the years and it's always clean and the staff is friendly, especially Alyse. She always make sure we have everything we need and makes us feel welcome!
Came in late on 1st night. Staff was always friendly, attendant and courteous. Slips are nice with power right there and little BBQ area for every other slip on "F" dock. Added bonus of the hydroplane races in town which gave us a front row seat!
Dock staff was and always has been excellent however, the derelict marina host lady on the house boat was drunk, baligerent and very rude. The pirate guy her husband was fine but she was super drunk and picking fights with my guests and other marina guests. I will attend next year but do not want to be anywhere near the "Sea Hagg"!
Friendly staff. Clean docks and piers. Alyse makes a point of remembering names and greets all with a smile. Stephanie is the best office manager, ever.
OH Marina has exceeded my expectations. The staff members I ran into were very kind and supportive. Thank you all very much and will definitely see you all next summer.
First time there we enjoyed it. Only hiccup was the fowl up reservation.
Fantastic, quiet and friendly. We had a great time visiting with the Oak Harbor Yacht Club members. This was our first time to Oak Harbor -- we'll be back!
Really clean and nice marina. Even like the grumpy ones! Just need to chat nice hahaha. The staff is great!
Facility is well maintained by a friendly, customer oriented staff.
We always have a great time when we stay here and the staff is always great. Thanks
Slips are nice. Great sunset view. Host can use some personality.
Nice, big slips are easy to get in and out of. Wish the bathrooms/showers were closer!
They charged me sales tax on my fuel purchase. Following up on that. Decent docks, but a long walk to shore 1/2 mile). Town is farther. Bring an electric scooter or bike. Dining options are very limited, but lunch at Orlando’s was awesome.
Wonderful place! Clean bathrooms secured docks and great fuel prices
Excellent facility but not much to see/do within walking distance. Walked into town and many would find the eclectic small businesses lining the street but not for me.
Great service and wonderful communication. Thanks to Stephanie and the entire staff for a great stay.
First time using the Dockwa app at Oak Harbor Marina. The response time was quick and we were well informed of all the amenities in the marina and around town. Will definitely visit again using Dockwa.
Very organized, clean, and lots of attention to detail. The marina staff is friendly and helpful. Recently the marina streamlined the reservation/check-in process making it even easier and clearer to get pertinent information (gate code, wifi, marina rules and policies, etc.).
We love Oak Harbor, it's a great place for a layover.
Good price. Big marina. Clean and well kept. Big minus for no close by stores or grocery. Should have vending machines at very least.
Had a great time at Oak Harbor Marina. Great docks, picnic tables, gas grills, nice walk to town.
We had a slip assigned, a dock hand provided assistance upon arrival. Enjoyed social at Oak Harbor YC. It is a bit of a project either walking to town or waiting for cab availability. Booking through dockWa was seem less and responded to promptly.
Beautiful marina, very clean and organized. Staff was super friendly and responsive. Walk to town was short and great little Main Street. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.
Nice marina. It is a big one. The F dock is good, G dock catches waves.
Lost water for 2 days and no provisions for a partial refund or future credit. We were treated as if it was our fault the pipe burst.
A beautiful setting and abundant wildlife to enjoy. Great sunsets.
Clean, older marina, quite a walk to stores. Wifi was good, enjoyed the stay
It was ok. The entrance sign to the marina had fallen and was pointing into the water. We had to call the office as it was confusing getting into it The floating restrooms were out of order. And it was a really long walk to any amenities like restaurants, or mini marts. Most likely will not be back unless it's a pot stop to the SJI.
Great! Very nice community. Great atmosphere. Thanks!
Aylise was spectacular and is a perfect complement to your overall level of service. From the emails anticipating all our questions to the friendliness of staff on the docks, it's a great culture you've built here. Aylìce is the ideal ambassador and is the kind of worker who'll go places, so I trust you'll do what you can to make sure she's going to stay with you.
Nice facility, reasonable price, everyone on staff was awesome especially fuel dock.
We had a great easy in and out slip-everyone at the Marina was helpful and friendly- great water pressure by the way- restroom facilities were well maintained and clean
Great people that work at the Oak Harbor Marina. They really go above and beyond !
Great to be back in Oak Harbor. We always enjoy our visits here.
Nice marina. We were surprised to find that with eight double slips on the guest dock, they put us in the only slip that had another boat in it. Why not give us our own empty slip?
Nice amenities. BBQs, trash bins on dock, bathroom out on guest dock
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. The slips are well maintained. Loved our time there.
Facilities were decent, not much to do in the immediate area of the marina but about a 20minute walk to food/stores. Neighbors stayed up late making noise which took away from the experience
It was a great dock and awesome guys on the gas dock! Great to bike to town
Great marina. Fuel prices are good compared to other locations.
Oak Harbor is a friendly Marina in a beautiful setting with well kept facilities. Staff were helpful. Boats with deep keels need to be incredibly careful entering the Marina at low tide.
After sorting out billing issues that appeared to be caused by DockWa, everything was good. The marina staff and facilities easily met our needs.
A great experience and Staff was great. Danny and Duncan are top notch.
Weathered some gnarly weather here for a couple of nights. Quite open marina with low lying ground around and not much to look at, but reasonably protected. Grills along the dock for guest use. The guest dock is a LONG walk from shore and facilities and about 15-20 mins to town (1.75 miles to grocery stores). Local military base was practicing aircraft landings until 11pm, which were pretty noisy. Price was reasonable and the stay gave us a per-gallon discount on fuel too, which was already reasonable.
Great races, all the people that work there do a 5 star job job!
Nice guest docks that had lots of picnic tables and barbecues, but the bathrooms and laundry room are a quarter mile walk each way. The floating bathrooms on the dock were appalling so everyone we know trooped up to the ones under the harbormasters office. Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy access for fuel and pump out.
The office staff offers zero customer service. We use Dockwa when staying at Oak Harbor our assumption is that the Dockwa application process has made for less work in the office as we no longer have a need to go into the office. However, on this trip my husband was up at the top of the Marina and did not have his phone with him, he was in need of the codes for the washroom. The office staff refused to give him the codes even though he advised what slip we were in and had ID. As we were staying out on F dock this made for a very long trek back to the boat. Poor customer service from office staff that appear to be not all that busy.
Fuel prices were best around. Everyone was super helpful.
Love the marina, great service, cute town, best fuel price! We'll be back.
Generally a friendly and convenient marina. Good fuel prices, but staging area around fuel dock is very shallow at low tides. Clean showers. Can be very windy.
Great spot -a bit dicey on getting 50 amp shore power but made it work
We enjoy how peaceful it is on the visitor dock. This time I was confused as I could not find trash cans as i went to shore with my dogs from slip 38. That evening, I noticed some trash cans further away from shore and BBQs were being put out (maybe for a club gathering?). When I took the trash to the head of the dock, I couldn't find the garbage bins so I used a park trash can. The floating heads on the visitor dock were just OK, one needed toilet cleaning, the other was good. Nice to have our moorage covered when we filled up our fuel, as painful as that was!
Staff here are always friendly. Fuel prices are always the lowest around. Nice grassy areas and a beach for the dogs. Town is a bit of a hike but no big deal. Docks are a little run down. Watch for westerly blows and turn around in the narrow channel next to G docks before docking so you face west.
Very accomodating and the best was the icing buying fuel at $3.05 incl tax and deducting $.20 per gallon purchased of diesel from the marina mooring fee for the nite. Awsome deal. Thank you Alycia. Your 👌 C DRAGON
The visitor slips are about a six or seven minute walk from shore. The town is another 1.5 miles. Facilities are clean, and the shower provides hot water quickly, with good pressure. There are picnic tables every few slips on the visitor dock, and toilets found on a mini-barge tied in a slip so you don't have to hike to shore.
Easy booking. Hassle free. Have stayed here before and will stay again, I'm sure.
We had the slip pre-assigned and as we came in one of the staff was there to take our lines and help us tie up and give us a brief explanation of where everything was.
We love the marina with the table area and amenities and were able to cook our crabs.
Need to work on the WiFi, then it would be five stars.
It worked well for us. The staff was helpful and the facilities are very good. The city has removed the dock in town, so you can no longer dingy to downtown.
Wi-Fi didn’t work. Confirmed by the staff that it wasn’t working. Couldn’t use the bathrooms on Tuesday because the water was turned off. Too far from the town with no transportation. Staff was very pleasant.
Our first stay at Oak Harbor Marina. Bathroom shower a bit of a walk, but good exercise. We found the staff extremely helpful and it was worth the stay. Would recommend to other boaters.
Our stay was very enjoyable. Great views from the marina and we felt safe and secure during the wind storm. Appreciated the out station pet area and lists of restaurants that deliver or do take out. We'll be back!
We booked Oak Harbor for a 1 night stay and fuel stop. Very pleased with the service and accommodations. Will definitely return.
Would rather make reservations with staff rather than online. Online is not always available when cruising. Using dockwa does not provide timely confirmation.
First the good. Facilities are nice, fuel prices were great and the fellow working at the gas dock was super helpful. Now the not so good. We have a 51ft boat and were assigned the last slip on the outside which is a 40 ft slip. Normally we wouldn’t mind but there was plenty of dock space inside for a 51ft boat and there was an awful windstorm so it would have been good to be in a spot where we could tie up properly. We were still charged for a 51. To top it off the boat next to us allowed their several dogs to sh@ all over their bow and foredeck for days or longer and did not bother to clean it up. Disgusting!!!!
Shore Power Labeled as unserviceable. Neighboring boats reported bad burning smell from 30Amp outlet. We unhooked & ran our Generator. Also Wi FI does not work. Receive message incorrect PW for
Easy in and out, low diesel fuel costs and a credit on one nights moorage.
Great marina, greatfuel prices, thank you for the pet area on the dock........ our dogs need grass and are very picky, but the artificial turf setup was well done and worked great! Only small thing was we were given a port tie and we need starboard...... did the app ask? Did not see it when we reserved. Thank you
