Approach

Please hail us while inbound on channel 16/72 for assistance. We can also be reached at the marina office at (202) 595-5165. Starting from the Woodrow Wilson bridge, follow the Washington channel North. You'll pass Alexandria off your port side through a fairly long no wake zone. Continue following the channel and Reagan National Airport will then be off your port side. Shortly after passing the airport, the channel will split. Follow the channel to the RIGHT, which brings you into the Washington/Anacostia channel. There will be another channel split shortly after that, where you'll follow the channel to the LEFT. Hains Point will be off the Port side, and the National War College starboard. You are now in the channel for The Wharf. A 6 mph "No Wake Zone" starts at the beginning of the channel, and continues throughout the entire Wharf Marina. As you enter the beginning of the channel, the first building you come across is the Pier 4 office building which is a fairly large, mainly glass building that will be on your starboard side. Directly behind that Pier 4 building is a smaller brick building. The marina office is located inside on the 2nd floor. After you pass Pier 4, you will come across Z dock. Shortly after Z dock, you will see 90 slips of live-aboard residents. Continue up the channel. You will pass the recreational pier, then Capital Yacht Club Marina, and then the District Pier. Continue past the glass building at the end of the District Pier and you will see brand-new docks just ahead that are reserved for transient guests.

Unfortunately, in 5 years under Oasis management I've never experienced "remarkable." Instead, we've fought tooth and nail to get basic marina services. And the entire time, management communicates their intent to raise rates, while they continue to operate short-staffed and cut basic services.
