Terrible experience. While dock master tries hard the resort provides little support. No transportation to resort amenities and they are a long way from marina. Major electrical problems. Low voltage, some pedestals no power, some only one leg. Four transient boats all had tripping problems. No transportation to Williamsburg nor any concierge for help. Rather poor for a resort. Also manager at James Landing Restaurant was rude and disrespectful. Apparently doesn’t like boaters. Won’t be back. PS Golf course greens were horrible.
Grayson, Gus, Ashlyn, Rylan were the most helpful employees at the King Mill Marina! The customer service was on point and the staff worked to make jet skiing not only safe but also extremely fun. The service was so excellent I made sure to leave a 5 star review on both the main resort page and the marina resort page. I’ll definitely be coming back, what a wonderful vacation!
One star is being generous. This is a very expensive resort, paid almost $4.00 per foot, and the conditions and attitudes were terrible. Staff was unhelpful, unknowledgible and very short. They lost my reservation, there were sea shells all over the dock, a rusted baby carrage on the dock, toilet facilities were only open from 08:00 to 21:00. Fuel prices were 25% higher than the other marinas in the area. I'll never go back!
