Terrible fibreglass and gelcoat work done. Fibreglass delamination occurred on the work Grenada Marine did on my keel. So, under the waterline, which meant I had to take the boat out again and have it repaired by a proper boat yard a few months later! They used some kind of filler, which just fell out. The “repair “ looked worse than the original issue. Grenada Marine’s yard manager tried to accuse me of running a ground as a reason why the delamination occurred, which is completely bogus and a ridiculous accusation. He simply stopped replying to my emails after I sent underwater photos, explained the issue in detail and asked what else he needed to see on the photos. I then tried to find a solution with the general manager (Fletcher), who did nothing at all. They also did some minor gelcoat “repairs” above the waterline. The gelcoat they applied turned yellowish and basically crumbled off, so, I repaired it myself. I spent several thousand dollars there and would expect better after sales treatment. But because I was just cruising through, they didn’t expect repeat business and therefore didn’t care. Go to another marina!!
