Please note: IGY North Cove Marina is officially closed for the entire 2026 boating season. The marina is scheduled to remain closed for redevelopment beginning November 1, 2025, with an anticipated reopening timeline of approximately 2030/2031.
During this period, the marina will not be accepting transient, overnight, or short-term dockage reservations.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming boaters back in the future.
The most dynamic and fun place to dock in NYC. Staff is helpful, and location is “A+”
The people were very nice that worked there, the bigger problem was they had issues with the power. I ended up with low-voltage going to my boat which blew multiple fuses and burn out a circuit board of a component on my Starboard engine which delayed our departure among other things I had to spend over $1300 to transport the guests on my boat back home because we couldn't leave. More importantly, we had to run the boat once we did get things fixed at night back to Delaware not our first choice. Also they put us on a slip all the way back in the corner getting on and off the boat was very difficult because of the length of the floating dock we were at, and this particular dock was in substandard condition for the prices they charge. I expected a lot more.
Great marina staff!!
Had a great experience. Love the location, however the surge is really bad. Thought we were going to snap a line or blow a fender. 61’ Viking
Always rock and rollie during rush hour but r great location and great staff
Incredible place. Jenny and her team are great people and love the attention to detail they apply to their craft.
What a neat place to keep your vessel at! Stayed here a few years ago, very clean, friendly staff and an amazing view!
So disappointed with this marina. In theory it should be great. Right there in the big apple. The staff were pleasant, although not present. I don't recall any amenities, but they probably has some. Our most troubling issue is the waves/churn. Marina is adjacent to one of the most busy waterways in the world - every passing freighter and ferry sends enormous waves echoing into the small marina, tossing even the 150'+ boats around CONTINUOUSLY - felt like 6-8 for seas at the dock. The second is the homeless population - the gates are useless and no real security - we had scary people trying to board the boat at night. Plus it's not the best part of Manhattan and pretty dead on the weekend. It's a pretty waterside location, but to many draw lbacks We went to Liberty Landing Marina across the river, which is roughly same distance in an Uber from places you will want to see in Manhattan. It's sheltered, great service, safe and comfortable, without the constant rocking and rolling. And the view of New York is much better!
