Transients welcome!
Founded in 1907, the Orienta Yacht Club is one of the oldest and most distinctive Clubs on Long Island Sound. We are located in the scenic and well-protected East Basin of Mamaroneck Harbor, easily accessible through a well-marked, deep water channel. Mamaroneck is a gateway to great fishing, sailboat racing, cruising and just plain “messing about in boats.”
Our members include both power-boaters and sailors who welcome the opportunity to work on their own boats, which is typically not allowed in commercial boatyards.
For transient boaters we have two moorings and one floating dock- attached to a mooring (with fresh water) that can rented through Dockwa. Launch service and showers are available during operating hours. The moorings are anchored fore and aft so it takes a bit more seamanship than tying up to a single point mooring.
The vibrant town of Mamaroneck is just a five-minute walk away to an array of restaurants and cultural markets.
Well run operation! And, the town is close by; convenient for provisioning.
One of the most welcoming clubs on the Sound. Close to town with lots of provisions and restaurants.
Nice launch service and not a bad walk to a bunch of restaurants not too far away. Service overall pretty good
Please stop sending surveys and refund my card $186, this was not was what was advertised. I’ve left 2 bad surveys, a third is a slap in the face. The OYC folks are great and have issues with Dockwa too. I left as soon as weather would allow
Very secluded from weather. Launch service was very good. Good bathrooms. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
