We enjoyed our weekend stay and would highly recomend this marina. We loved the safety of the gate system which is superior to those upriver near the aquarium.
Perfect stay. Great location. Booking was easy and communication was the best.
Clean, easy instructions for access. Thank you.
Your reponse time on messgaes is great. Very helpful
Perfect! The facilities are great and the location can’t be beat.
I like it it was good
They was someone already park in ours spot. Lucky we had friends there so we share a spot. The dock are great.
Great as always!!! Love staying here!
Great place to doc. Secure and convenient. Definitely would stay at this harbor again.
Nice accommodating and modern boat dock that I will use again. My only issue was that the dock 18 had a lot of geese droppings on it. Need to be check daily for that.
We cruised from Hales Bar to Chattanooga. Wonderful weather, wonderful friends and wonderful accommodations. Thanks again!
Beautiful marina in the perfect spot for all the best downtown Chattanooga has to offer. Clean, accessible, secure! The harbor master is easy to communicate with, professional, and super willing to accommodate boaters. Highly recommend.
Could not be happier with our experience with Camron Harbor. The staff is extremely helpful and the proximity to downtown and great bars and restaurants is great. It is like being in nature in the middle of the city. We love the beavers, otters, and blue herons we see while able to have the available amenities like great internet service, water, and hookups. This is a must stop on your next trip to Chattanooga.
Spent two nights at Cameron Harbor Marina. Was assigned a nice slip near the Springfield Hotel. We had no issues but be prepared for a strong cross current when pulling into your slip. You will need to make sure to have 2-4 good dock lines (20’ each) and 4 or more fenders. When we arrived the gate was open. We made sure to lock it and every time we walked to the boat it was locked after that one time. We will be using this marina in the future.
Stay was great. Only suggestion is to work on gate door so that it will close better and stay closed. Found it open a couple times and had to slam door to get it to close when we went through. We will return. Thanks.
The boat slip and location were great. So convenient. But there was no sign that said Cameron Harbor Marina so we were not at all sure we were in the right place. We were afraid we would get towed. I tried calling five times with no answer. I tried emailing with no response. I tried messaging with someone online and didn't get a response until very late. I was sent the slip number and gate code after check in time. Clear instructions should have been sent the day before or at least early on the day of arrival.
We docked five jet skies at Cameron Harbor Marina in one 50' slip and couldn't be anymore pleased with our stay and the accommodations. We will definitely dock here again!
we enjoyed the location by our hotel and the boat slip was easy to find Slip was good and the location was exactly what we needed.
Marina was right behind the hotel we were staying at . Super convenient, clean and easily accessible
Very nice place! Thanks
Great as always! Forgot to mention we needed to be closer to Springhill suites. Can’t wait for next time.
A really great place to stay. We parked directly in front of the Springhill Suites and Scotties restaurant. Captain Brad was awesome in answering questions we had about downtown Chattanooga. The Marina looked like it was brand new and the food was amazing at Scotties. I would highly recommend this marina.
Easy as pie. Owner was accommodating and friendly. Checked into hotel up top and had a great day/night in Chattanooga.
So simple to book and the docking area was convenient and so very nice !
Background: This is our second stay at Cameron Harbor Marina, we travel from Guntersville AL with a large group of boats each year, and sometimes more than once per boating season. We take this trip to enjoy the sights and scenery that the Tennessee River has to offer. We joined this group of boaters two years ago, and these folks have been taking this trip for at least the last five years. Pros: The dock is well maintained and in great condition. It is in a fantastic location for easy access to Chattanooga, as well as immediate access to Spring Hill Suites hotel and the adjoining Scotties On The River restaurant. The staff is prompt and friendly. Power is readily available for each slip space. We would recommend this marina, but be aware of the cons listed below... Cons: In 2019 the marina allowed for one night stays, yet in 2020 required a two night minimum. After taxes it more than doubled our cost from last year. We had to share a slip with another boat, of which was larger than ours and had taken up a good portion of the slip. This is not really a huge problem but for a group ours size, I would have hoped to have shared a slip with others in our group. Next year we will be sure to request our group shares the slips we're assigned to. Moving on, the gate to the marina is constantly left open by others. This is supposed to be a secure marina, yet the folks renting slip space here seem not to care to keep the gate closed. On top of that the gate code is clearly posted on the way out of the marina. Great for those that can't seem to remember the code (or don't care to), but terrible when folks leave the gate open for non-marina renters to enter the dock and jot down the gate code for easy access in the future. The gate code has not changed in (at least) the last two years. I would think that the marina would want to change it often to avoid freeloaders or other undesirables from accessing and/or utilizing the dock space. Even so, the marina renters should be responsible enough to close this gate after leaving to maintain security of the dock space. Maybe the marina needs to spring load the gate to ensure it's closed after folks exit? (the gate is spring loaded, but does not ensure closure) Overall this is a great dock space and is in a very desirable location. We would recommend renting an overnight slip at Cameron Harbor Marina. Please boat responsibly, and be kind & courteous to your fellow boaters.
We love staying and docking our boat here when we do our Chattanooga river run!! It always a safe location downtown Chattanooga..
Great docking facility. Very friendly and accommodating staff
We love the area and the Marina. Obviously wish we could get restroom and shower.
Nice and convenient we enjoyed our stay. Will return again
Excellent docks, clean, and easy access to downtown. Would recommend for downtown docking in Chattanooga, TN.
Docks were in great shape, clean and well keep up. The current was strong for my boat (25 ft), which took a little getting use to.
Everything was great, but don’t leave your dock ropes or fender bumpers on the dock, to mark it’s taken- someone stole ours.
There is no on site dockmaster or anybody else. There is a sign on the gate with telephone number. We called it and got a return message with the gate code, three hours later. We chose a slip, setup our power cord and two dock chairs. We left on our boat to watch the fireworks. When we returned at 10pm, another boat had taken our slip. I had to back in to a new slip in the dark and retrieve my power cord and chairs. Our original slip was occupied by a ski boat and the owners were gone. I left a note on their windshield. The floating docks are nice but the walk is a long, steep incline to get up to street level. There is an elevator but you need a key and there is nobody to ask for service. Like all downtown Chattanooga marinas, it is fully exposed to River traffic and plenty of wakes. There were several boats that parked overnight, probably without a reservation then left in the morning, nobody checks in.
Awesome Marina in downtown Chattanooga. 50 foot slips that are 20 feet wide. Very accommodating and located directly in front of a very nice restaurant.
Dockmaster Brad was awesome. Tough docking sideways to the current, which was strong... would have been VERY difficult without his help. Convenient to some really good restaurants, too!
