Our Community Offerings: The Guysborough Marina is centrally located in the village of Guysborough and features Cast Away Cafe, 2 kiosks serving ice cream and quick snacks (Marina Ice Cream and Dockside Dogs) and the Artworks East Gallery. Also located within walking distance of many amenities, including accommodations, a licensed restaurant serving pizza, burgers and Mediterranean dishes; Bank (RBC), Post Office, Pharmacy, Library and Museum sharing our history.

Only a short distance away in either direction you will have access to the state of the art Authentic Seacoast Distillery which offers tours of the facility, purchase of quality award-winning spirits, beer, coffee and other products. A liquor store, grocery store, laundromat, dollar store, coffee shop and building supplies stores.

Recreation doesn’t just happen at the waterfront, we have an ultra-modern recreational complex only short walking distance from the Marina. The Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex hosts a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, regulation sized-soccer field, tennis courts and and an 800 meter walking track.

Aside from the recreation complex, Guysborough is home to over 50 kilometers of the Trans-Canada Trail (accessible from the Marina) to stretch out your sea-legs! If you are lucky enough to plan your trip around a local theatre production, we are home to the Mulgrave Road Theatre and their very accomplished team of actors and producers.
