[Edit (I think): after writing this review, I got a notification that the reservation was canceled. As far as I know, I think that's a full refund, so bumping up the review stars.] I can't speak for the actual place, but have had a poor experience with their staff when it comes to booking and reservations. Specifically just yesterday (after hours) I booked 3 days of slip space at Rosario Harbor via their DockWA reservations. The booking is 6 months in advance and I did note the (very punishing) 25% penalty for cancelations. Almost immediately I realized I had made a mistake can can't be there, so I called them the next day (today) hoping that they could allow for a full refund, especially given that the reservation is so far out and I had not held it more than 12 hours. When I got through to the marina staff (Jake) the only answer I got was "sorry that's our policy" - end of conversation. I fully recognize that's their policy and I'm sure they want to discourage people from sitting on reservations then backing out, which is a huge churn on their business, but also they are completely merciless when someone makes a mistake that DIDN'T put them out as well. I'm sure it's a nice place, but please beware.
There was marginal wifi and no cell service. It was our last night out and no communication made things a little challenging. Great sandwich at the cafe. Dock master was helpful to print out a road map.
Best docks and dock-side services around. The greater amenities need work...store has very eclectic selection, restaurant needs to reopen...to justify the fairly high $/foot moorage cost.
Marina is great. Terry met us on arrival and gave helpful briefing and update on resort status. Showers are better but need hooks and niche for soap and shampoo. Cascade Bay was open but menu was very limited. Service delightful however. We love Rosario and really hope it gets the investment it still needs.
Beautiful spot. Marina is easy to negotiate. Harbor master and crew were accommodating and friendly!
Very nice and quiet harbor. Enjoyed staying here overnight.
nice dock and facilities, helpful staff. Wifi coverage should be better
Great facilities, great layout. We're looking forward to the resort renovation to be complete, and have access to the pools on property!
Nice and peaceful. The grill was open and the employees were very nice. The marina showers were free and the water stayed warm. Looking forward to returning when the mansion reopens and they have more services and dining options.
Very helpful staff. Lovely location. Too bad the pool is closed.
A great marina, still running well while the rest of the resort is undergoing renovations. I look forward to seeing the place when renovations are complete.
Friendly staff. Nice marina. Very nice to have bathrooms with free showers. Recommend the addition of some hooks in the bathroom. Soap dispenser in bathroom was empty when we arrived and the next morning.
We will return to Rosario! We love the wide fairways, large docks, friendly welcoming staff and the peaceful grounds.
Lovely area. Can’t wait to visit once the resort is complete.
Wow. This was our first visit to Rosario. I am new to docking/undocking my boat and Terry the harbor master and crew were beyond helpful. When I asked for dock assist leaving during intermittent gusts, Terry took the time to listen to my plan, offer advice and then gave us a helpful push away. Thank you, Terry! We are heading back in a few days with a new crew and can't wait to see y'all again. Marina and restrooms clean. Gift shops had a great variety of goods. Lovely grounds. Friendly supportive customer service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Rosario Marina. It's under new ownership and not fully operational. The Cascade Grill is the only open restaurant and serves a limited menu of sandwiches and pizza. The pizza was good, nothing special. They didn't seem to have a cocktail menu, but appear to serve wine and cocktails made from store bought mixes. We got lattes in the morning from the store, and while they have a fancy espresso machine, I'm not sure they know how to use it correctly, the coffees were average. Overall food and beverages seem pricey, in-line with other marinas in the area, but nothing really special and just mediocre quality. The docks themselves are in good shape and seemed quite wide and easy to maneuver into. The fuel dock is limited, slow and expensive. The views are gorgeous and everyone was friendly!
Great Marina staff and dock condition. New ownership could do more to incentivize visiting even when the resort is under renovation, but the quietness is equally appealing.
It was nice. Came in on a boat. Couldn’t find a room so slept on the lawn 😃
Very helpful marina personnel. Great bathrooms and showers. Will be a lot nicer once the restaurant opens in July and the new ownership finishes all the renovations on the pool and spa.
I love ROSARIO! We have been staying at the resort for years and we are super excited for the improvements to come. We have never stayed at the marina before and during this difficult time where everyone is social distancing we decided to give it a go. The docks are fantastic, so much room. A little rough on your bare feet so be sure to have dock shoes. The shower facilities could use some work, so we are hopeful that is in the plans. The grill was open and the wait staff made it feel like a true vacation. Especially Hugo, he is new and just so kind. Really connects with people. Water, power, a gas and visitor dock too. There is even a family of otters that fight under the docks, it was hilarious. We had so much fun, we stayed an extra night. We will definitely be back.
