Bay Springs Marina

This is a great place to sit and chill for a couple days or even longer. The folks are inviting and seem to have a lot of comradely. We liked the really out of the way location. Actually, this would be a great place to spend the summer.

Good deep water all the way to the dock. Courtesy car was available to drive 15 minutes into town where there are some good restaurants. Perfect for a short stay as you prepare to lock southbound on the Tenn-Tom.

It was perfect for our needs very beautiful with Fall Colors

This is a large marina, just upstream of the Jamie Whitten Lock. The night we were there, there were about eight Looper boats tied up. The floating docks had U shaped slips for individual boats. Most of the slips had posts with two 30 amp connections. The cleats were sturdy. They have a separate building for boaters. It includes a laundry room, with a washer and dryer ($1 each) and nice bathrooms for men and women. The building contains a great party room with a bar, ping pong table, and a refrigerator. It’s a perfect indoor place for doctails. The marina has a four seat courtesy car. We could not get it as it seemed as if one boat had it “reserved” for the afternoon and evening. There is no nearby town. Supposedly, there is a Mexican restaurant about fifteen minutes away. Oct 2025

We had a 2- night stay & on the first night we shared a ride into town for dinner with another looper couple, taking advantage of their curtesy car. Restrooms & showers were very clean & they offered pay laundry.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet! They met us at the boat, helped us tie up and Megan was lovely, accommodating our schedule change (twice) and helping us with the courtesy car and directions. A wonderful stop before the Whitten Lock. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and restful night!

Nice quiet, small secluded marina. They have one shower for men one shower for women two stalls for men and sinks. They have one washer for a dollar and dryer is free. It is a bit of a walk from the dock to the bathrooms and the laundry. Decent lounge area, no loaner car that I know of, a little pricey for what you get but if you want to be at marina in that area, not a bad stop

Megan was a super star. Stayed late to meet us at the dock and give us laundry keys. Then met us promptly at 8:00 AM for fuel.

Great night. Easy in-Easy out. The dock staff was friendly and attentive. Very close to the lock.

Not much to do and hard to get anywhere. But very quiet and protected. Very close to a Lock, which allows you to get an early start and time your presence at the Lock so you don’t have to sit out and wait . Free washer and one dollar laundry. Really nice folks who will greet you any time.

The warmest welcome of any Marina we have visited. Bay Springs Marina staff and members of the Marina could not have been nicer. Put us on the face dock, water was available even though they had winterized for the season, laundry, restroom and shower all wonderful. They even invited us to their Christmas Party which was an absolute Joy. So many Santa Clause, Christmas Trees and decorated boats. You can tell these people enjoy each other’s company and share their joy with others. Thank you Bay Springs. We will see you on the flip side.

This place is great. So friendly. The family that owns this place are all helpful and courteous.

Peaceful, quiet, basic boating amenities you need while cruising down the Tenn-Tom. Clean showers, bathrooms, free washer and $1 dryer. Bay Springs Lake is awesome to cruise around and anchor in countless remote coves.

Very clean and neat facility, staff very pleasant and helpful. No less than 15' total water and the lake is down about 5'. Did not use restrooms, but did use courtesy car - went to Tacos vs Pizza restaurant in Tupelo about 40 minutes away - best tacos and pizza ever!
