IGY Savannah Harbor Marina

This marina is such a pleasure. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities are immaculate. We truly felt they were happy we were there. We would definitely recommend it. Check it out and enjoy the southern hospitality.

Like many others here, I give the IGY Savannah Harbor Marina my highest accolades. They had the works: welcome gift bag, handwritten thank you note, and a little hand-made farewell gift. Free coffee and tea in the marina office, located conveniently about 30' from the head of the dock. The showers were spotless, well-lit, smelled nice, and for the first time in my experience, included a free towel service. No nickle-and-diming here; the laundry was free, if a little small. Two washers, one working dryer. Apparently the needed part was on back-order. If this marina has a downside, it's that literally everything to see is on the other side of the river. Mind you, there's a free ferry that runs every ten minutes and they will give you a free golf-cart ride to it, but it still complicates touring the city on foot. The marina is also well-protected, with a big floating dock across the opening (except the fairway, of course). We felt very few waves, wakes, or winds. The very best feature of IGY Savannah was the staff. We got absolute top-notch service from beginning to end. Leslie and Syndey in the office were great. The whole team was. They must have toted twenty Amazon packages to us, and looked after our cat when we had to go out of town for medical reasons. When next we are in Savannah, we will be returning here.

Beautiful, brand new marina. Floating docks, long side docks, clean and pristine decking. Highly professional dockhands, high-end customer service, very well-managed. Spacious fairways, very well-protected basin. Current can be strong at certain times but there are long periods of slack in the basin. Clean and new showers/laundry (free). Short walk to free ferry that takes you across the river to historic downtown and lots of restaurants, bars, shopping. Not easy getting services here since it is so new and not many technicians are coming out here, but marina management has helped me find technicians. I am sure that will change as the marina gets more boats and better established. I was planing to stay for two weeks but ended up getting a seasonal 3-month slip to ride out storm season in this well-protected inland basin.

IGY Savannah is a definitely a first class marina! As Savannians we were curious about this new marina and decided to check it out. Wow! IGY is quite an addition to the yachting destinations in Savannah and opened the door to our flourishing downtown. The staff, from the dockhands to Leslie and Sydnie, all treated us like royalty. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. You have much for which to be proud!

Dockhands are super helpful. Easy access to downtown Savannah via the ferry from the adjacent Convention Center. Plenty of fairway space between floating docks. Excellent security. I’ll be delighted to stay here again.

The staff and dock hands are fantastic! Easy dingy ride or ferry to downtown Savannah for all the food and entertainment. Will be back.

Beautiful brand new marina, downtown and near everything. Very friendly and helpful staff and concierge. Great price. Take the dinghy across the river to River Street and tie up at the municipal dock for 3 hours for free. It catch the free ferry next door. They will help with local excursion arrangements and ideas, a suggested itinerary, restaurant recommendations, and things to do. Ever the laundry was free. Wow, we are impressed, best Marina ever!

This is a brand new marina with fantastic facilities, and great access to the ferry to take you to downtown Savannah. The staff could not have been more helpful, accommodating and professional from the dockhands to the front office ladies Leslie and Stephanie. This is going to become the new marina to stay at when going to Savannah.

We just wrapped up spending 2 weeks at IGY Savannah Harbor Marina. This is a brand new, upscale marina. At the time of this writing, the fuel dock was not in service but everything else was. This was hands down one of the nicest marinas we’ve ever stayed at. The facilities and amenities were top notch and the staff were amazing! With a short walk to the free and dog friendly ferries, you’re in historic downtown Savannah in no time. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Savannah.

The dock staff and Sydnie were amazing! They went above and beyond! The facilities are fantastic and all in til top shape. We will definitely be back on our way back down the ICW!

Savannah Harbor Marina is a premier harbor. There are very few marinas like this one. A+++. Leslie and her team are excellent.
