IGY Savannah Harbor Marina

Great location for visiting downtown Savannah. Much more protected than being at the Westin next door or River Street across the way. The staff is very very friendly. You can get cart rides to the ferry landing and the Westin pool is available via a day pass

The dock was awesome. Very protected from all the river traffic. Staff was incredible. Nice to have the Golf Cart that can take you to the ferry. Would be nice to have a pool on-site but the Laudry and showers are great. A must stay.

Because we stayed there before, they said we don't get a welcome package. Ok, don't need it but that's being "cheap". Then they add for electric separately unlike every where else that has a flat fee included. Just weird and again, possibly being cheap. Then there is the 24 page dockage agreement. Really!?!? Need to get the lawyers and bean counters out of the management.

Beautiful facility; all new everything. Staff was great. They knew the sites in the city Historic area and even gave us a golf cart ride to the free ferry to get to the city. Good choice if you're headed to Savannah.

The facility and staff are tops. Thoroughly enjoyed our week with them. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Savannah!

Very nice facilities but understaffed. Access to Savannah district by ferry only as we were discouraged to use our dinghy to tie up to free public docks across the river. Walk to ferry is about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace. Don’t be fooled by their golf cart ride over to the ferry terminal which we were denied because reception said “we are busy attending to a super yacht “. Power went out at our slip in the middle of the night although we only draw 30 amps.

Just spent 2 weeks at IGY Savannah Harbor Marina. An exceptional marina with exceptional staff. Easily accessible fuel dock/pump out with pump out also available at dock. Floating docks new and well maintained, protected harbor with minimal wakes.Many amenities available, everything a Cruiser could ask for. Beautiful setting with easy access to Savannah via free ferry. Historic Savannah very pedestrian friendly with multiple shops and restaurants. Definitely a destination marina on the East Coast.

Beautiful marina with easy ferry-ride to historic downtown Savannah. The walkway to get to the ferry is a little fragmented but hopefully will improve with the continuing progress in that area. Friendly, accommodating staff.

We really enjoyed our two nights here and wish we could have lingered longer. The fascilities are all top drawer and the staff all friendly and helpful. Thè close proximity to the free river shuttle made it east to visit the historic town.

This marine has it all! Pristine cleanliness, free laundry, beautiful new bath facilities with big tile showers and they even provide towels and wash cloths. There is a ferry that goes across the river and drops you in the heart of river street and historic downtown. Lots to do, see, eat, and drink! Staff is very friendly and helpful! Will definitely be back here again.

The Marina is incredible and staff are welcoming and extremely eager to help, well worth the stay, and hope to go back soon. Easy access to downtown Savannah by the use of a water taxi.

Excellent marina! The marina is conveniently located just across the Savannah River from downtown Savannah. There is a free water taxi that crosses the river every 30 minutes. The marina floating docks and facilities are in excellent condition. The staff are exceeding courteous and helpful. I strongly recommend this marina to anyone visiting Savannah.

Second time staying here. Staff is responsive and professional. Marina slips are well protected from boat traffic. As marina is new, everything is in great shape.

From the deck hands to the office personnel these are top notch people. Very clean and well kept marina. Showers and laundry were great as well. Will return the next time I’m in Savannah.

How much space can I use? Found another Marina gem in Savannah. IGY Savannah Harbor Marina. We need to help them get the word out!! Floating docks. Lots of helpful & super friendly staff. $2.25/ft Free Laundry - 2 new upright w/d Clean and new restrooms/showers with towels provided (and washed daily) Diesel fuel available if you need it. Water, power and pump out available. Very pet friendly. It's on the SC side of Savannah, but there's a free shuttle ferry that runs every 20 minutes from 8am - 10pm to take you across to Front street, right in the heart of downtown historic Savannah. It's a nice short walk to the ferry; the staff will take you in a golf cart if you call them (8am -6pm) We cannot recommend this place enough. **Pass it along!!

We stayed at the IGY's Savannah, GA marina for St. Patrick's Day events. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. The marina had a very nice event including an Oyster Roast, Low Country Boil, Beer & Wine, and a live band under a tent. They provided a water taxi and bleachers for us at the St. Pat's parade. Their efforts made for a wonderful stay.

This place is outstanding. It’s a beautiful, new and well run marina with a great location, top level amenities, and genuinely nice staff. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent facilities, very friendly staff and beautiful floating docks. They are there to assist you with golf cart rides to the ferry dock (required to get to old town), facilities use and recommended things to do.

Brand new facility in protected basin. Super friendly and helpful staff. Impeccably clean bath/ shower facility with fresh towels and free laundry. Transportation across the river to historic Savannah is available close by and during business hours the staff will even give you a golf cart ride to the pick up point. Nothing else around the marina right now, but the ferry is a ten minute ride and goes twice an hour for free. Would recommend for anyone visiting Savannah by water.

This is my favorite marina in the States. Leslie, Sydnie, Blake, Jeddin, and the entire team are fantastic. The facilities are clean and brand new, and the location—right across from downtown Savannah—is perfect. I absolutely love this place.

This marina is such a pleasure. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities are immaculate. We truly felt they were happy we were there. We would definitely recommend it. Check it out and enjoy the southern hospitality.

Like many others here, I give the IGY Savannah Harbor Marina my highest accolades. They had the works: welcome gift bag, handwritten thank you note, and a little hand-made farewell gift. Free coffee and tea in the marina office, located conveniently about 30' from the head of the dock. The showers were spotless, well-lit, smelled nice, and for the first time in my experience, included a free towel service. No nickle-and-diming here; the laundry was free, if a little small. Two washers, one working dryer. Apparently the needed part was on back-order. If this marina has a downside, it's that literally everything to see is on the other side of the river. Mind you, there's a free ferry that runs every ten minutes and they will give you a free golf-cart ride to it, but it still complicates touring the city on foot. The marina is also well-protected, with a big floating dock across the opening (except the fairway, of course). We felt very few waves, wakes, or winds. The very best feature of IGY Savannah was the staff. We got absolute top-notch service from beginning to end. Leslie and Syndey in the office were great. The whole team was. They must have toted twenty Amazon packages to us, and looked after our cat when we had to go out of town for medical reasons. When next we are in Savannah, we will be returning here.

Beautiful, brand new marina. Floating docks, long side docks, clean and pristine decking. Highly professional dockhands, high-end customer service, very well-managed. Spacious fairways, very well-protected basin. Current can be strong at certain times but there are long periods of slack in the basin. Clean and new showers/laundry (free). Short walk to free ferry that takes you across the river to historic downtown and lots of restaurants, bars, shopping. Not easy getting services here since it is so new and not many technicians are coming out here, but marina management has helped me find technicians. I am sure that will change as the marina gets more boats and better established. I was planing to stay for two weeks but ended up getting a seasonal 3-month slip to ride out storm season in this well-protected inland basin.

IGY Savannah is a definitely a first class marina! As Savannians we were curious about this new marina and decided to check it out. Wow! IGY is quite an addition to the yachting destinations in Savannah and opened the door to our flourishing downtown. The staff, from the dockhands to Leslie and Sydnie, all treated us like royalty. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. You have much for which to be proud!

Dockhands are super helpful. Easy access to downtown Savannah via the ferry from the adjacent Convention Center. Plenty of fairway space between floating docks. Excellent security. I’ll be delighted to stay here again.

Beautiful brand new marina, downtown and near everything. Very friendly and helpful staff and concierge. Great price. Take the dinghy across the river to River Street and tie up at the municipal dock for 3 hours for free. It catch the free ferry next door. They will help with local excursion arrangements and ideas, a suggested itinerary, restaurant recommendations, and things to do. Ever the laundry was free. Wow, we are impressed, best Marina ever!

This is a brand new marina with fantastic facilities, and great access to the ferry to take you to downtown Savannah. The staff could not have been more helpful, accommodating and professional from the dockhands to the front office ladies Leslie and Stephanie. This is going to become the new marina to stay at when going to Savannah.

We just wrapped up spending 2 weeks at IGY Savannah Harbor Marina. This is a brand new, upscale marina. At the time of this writing, the fuel dock was not in service but everything else was. This was hands down one of the nicest marinas we’ve ever stayed at. The facilities and amenities were top notch and the staff were amazing! With a short walk to the free and dog friendly ferries, you’re in historic downtown Savannah in no time. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Savannah.

The dock staff and Sydnie were amazing! They went above and beyond! The facilities are fantastic and all in til top shape. We will definitely be back on our way back down the ICW!

Savannah Harbor Marina is a premier harbor. There are very few marinas like this one. A+++. Leslie and her team are excellent.
