We stayed at LBYC for 3 nights on the yellow dock as part of a cruise out our club, the Del Rey Yacht Club, did recently. LBYC’s club house and grounds are beautifully maintained and the food (dinner and brunch buffets) was delicious and well prepared. The yellow dock gets wind on the beam later in the day, which makes the landing somewhat challenging, but the dock crew were total pros. The rest of the staff were very professional and accommodating as well. We would definitely come back here again.

We were welcomed by the dock master but the club was really unprepared for our two night stay. The front desk was unaware of our stay and reluctantly were given a key fob for the showers and restroom area. The fob worked until about 6pm the first night (Sunday) only. The club is closed on Mondays and provided no restroom, shower, or dining facilities. The guest dock is on the main Alamitos Bay channel. There was constant wave producing traffic and the docks are not private...fisherman used the dock every night past midnight...right next to our boat. Would try to stay in Long Beach or San Pedro next time.
