Been here three years and love it. Clean, safe Marina with attentive staff. Maintenance is prompt and issues are resolved quickly. Rules are very strict but fair, which is great so we can have nice things in this world. Location is noisy (airport, military, not their fault) but it's protected from swell in every direction. AND open water is a few minutes round the bend.
Bay Point Marina has newly renovated floating docks. There is a new Surfrider restaurant on site, which serves great food. There is a very nice pool and deck area. Bay Point is located in a very nice neighborhood, East Beach. Shopping is a little far, but it is in walking distance. Leaving the marina on your boat lets you out directly into the Chesapeake Bay near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. It's very convenient.
