Had an EXCELLENT experience at Clinton Street Boatel Marina. Had our 52’ Sailboat hauled, blocked, bottom cleaned and painted. We then had the haul waxed and teak done. When we ran into a mechanical issue, they were very accommodating! We departed on October 11th. Jive, Ethan, Raphee (?) and crew go out of their way to make you feel welcomed! They are the GREATEST! Highly recommend Clinton Street Boatel Marina!
Communication and services terrible. Scheduled our boat for haul out and sand/paint. We were told 4 days. 4 days later and boat has not been touched and no one has communicated with us. We live aboard so this is actually a problem for us. Have never experienced such unprofessional work at a marina.
Scheduling was a breeze, Anita was very accommodating, the short haul went off without an issue all staff were professional and personable.
Avoid this location unless you like bad experiences. Tammy left a year ago. Joey left a few weeks ago. These managers left (after getting fed up with Oasis) and the new folks don't seem to have any marine experience. First off, they NEVER answer the VHF. Not for the boatel, the travel lift or even the fuel dock. Calling their phone number only gets you to an Oasis answering service. They then have to "call down" to the yard to locate the staff. Often, they can't reach them either. IMO this is an Oasis/marina management issue, not an issue with the individual staff. I have to echo the experience of the gentleman below about scheduling a time for a haul out. The same has happened to me twice in a row. I recently scheduled a short haul a week in advance, confirmed the appt, signed their contract, and Oasis then billed my credit card immediately (who does this?). The day of the haul they emailed me, confirming the time. At the time of the appt, I showed up to find a boat in the lift. Apparently, doing a survey. Look, I've hosted long enough to know stuff happens. But if the boat arrived late for survey and you have haul outs scheduled behind them, you either don't pull them out or you get them back in ASAP. Basic scheduling and operations but the manager on duty didn't seem like he even understood this fact. The previous time there was a sailboat in the lift, trying to do some repairs (prob so they didn't have to pay a blocking fee) and the management just let it stay there as I waited, idling, far after the scheduled time. Again, no one taking charge of the situation. I've used this facility several times for short hauls and the lift operators and workers are great. But the systems and processes Oasis has in place are for THEIR benefit, not for customer service. They churn their mgmt staff, so now they have inexperienced, clueless management on site. Too bad it's the only travel lift in the area. But Anchor Bay, PYY and Baltimore Peninsula aren't that far away. And cheaper fuel can be had at Anchor Bay or MD Yacht Club.
Great employee's! They were very pleasant
Very professional staff they’ll work with you if you have a problem, no pressure great attitude highly recommended!
Staff was extremely accommodating in allowing me to work on the boat throughout the winter. Very well run yard with competent yard employees.
Staff great as always.
The entire team at Oasis Marina is outstanding, Professional and extremely helpful. Rafael (lift master), and his team are kind. Ethan the manager, easy to approach and always willing to help and make a difference. The Boatel is a perfect place to store a vessel and prevent extreme weather conditions… I’ll be back!!! God willing next season.. Tyra Carter
I use Clinton Street Marina two times a year for a short haul clean, Zinc and overall inspection. I am never disappointed with the Service, especially the detail and time Rafeal spends in assuring a flawless lift and assistance in inspection. I will continue to come back as well as utilize the fuel dock.
Awesome and very efficient
Stopped in for less than two for a short haul on their Travelift, a pressure wash and hull scrape, followed by fueling up. The haul out and cleaning crew was fast, efficient and pleasant to work with. We got a lot done in a very short time. I've hauled out in many places and this was smoothest operation I've ever seen. The same can be said for the fuel dock, easy access and efficient service.
you guys make it easy! Thank you
Just did a short haul, Tammy is always a pleasure to work with. The guys did a great job cleaning our bottom , very professional. It was very hot and having an air conditioned space was perfect
Pulled out for a spray down and survey. They were efficient and timely.
Great service and assistance
Used Clinton Street in Baltimore to haul and block my boat for propeller service. We had an issue with scheduling. The person I scheduled the appointment with last Friday the 21st of July did not record the appointment so when I arrived there was confusion and a 4-hour delay. Very frustrating. Tammy the leader on site did a great job recovering from this issue and while the delay was costly, we did get the job done. The boat is still onsite blocked while the propellers are being reconditioned. Tammy will have to use this as a learning experience with the person who took the reservation and did not confirm it internally. The job is not finished. They have to launch the boat early next week. So please ask me again. Great customer experience to learn from. Thanks
Everything & everyone was absolutely great! Thanks. See u next time!
The staff at the Clinton Street boatel is very friendly. I have used their boat yard to service my boat a few times. If you're looking for a full-service marina, this is not the place. They simply provide haul-out and boat storage services. They advertise service and repair, but they don't actually provide that. They will grant access to any service mechanics you arrange but don't expect them to take care of your maintenance needs.
Very cooperartive. Yard guys helpful also.
Tammy is fantastic and does a great job accommodating customers.
On time service and quality concern for boat.
