Lady's Island Marina in Beaufort, South Carolina, is known for its natural beauty, convenient location, and friendly management. We are located on the protected waters of Factory Creek, less than 1/2 mile from the ICW (Marker 536). Slips are available for transient and long-term rentals. We have a boaters' lounge, courtesy car and loaner bikes. Overlooking the marina is longtime local favorite, Dockside Restaurant. Next door (almost) is Beaufort hangout The Fillin' Station, with a covered deck set above Factory Creek. On-site the the marina boathouse, you'll find Journey Marine Canvas, One Salon, massage therapy and the Lady's Island Marina Store. Everything else you might need is within a mile on Sea Island Parkway, including groceries, hardware, liquor store, pharmacy, additional restaurants, banks, medical & dental and veterinary care. Historic downtown Beaufort is 1 mile away.
The marina needs some upkeep as far as wood and everything is not new looking, but the showers have lots of hot water, there is a loaner vehicle, there is a park pass, and everything worked
My wife and I kept our boat there for six days, and it was an amazing and friendly place. Kimberly and crew were professional, friendly, and courteous, and they guided us into our spot via VHF from the dock. Very helpful! Our boat neighbors were friendly and the entire place was clean and accommodating. Thank you, and we will certainly be staying again.
We will definitely be back on our way north. The perfect location and great facilities.
Kimberly was very helpful. She sent a tx for way in for any shallow water. She & crew was at the dock to settle us in. The marina is close to provisions. The loaner truck made it ez Nice ac in Capt. Lounge while laundry was going.
Stayed on our way down in October 2024. Dockmaster Kimberly was wonderful in her communications and was very personable and friendly when we arrived - helping us tie up and getting settled. She gave us good advice on stores in the area and the walk into town. Facilities are wonderful - even have a baby grand in the captains lounge (sat down and played a bit of Chopin-needs tuning!). Loaner truck made shopping easy - although it is walkable. Close to town and much quieter! This will become a regular stop for us!
Fabulous marina Great Dockmaster!
Great location; great owner and staff
What a gem! Lady’s Island and Beaufort are wonderful to explore with rich history and beautiful lowlands and historical buildings. The marina has well kept floating docks, clean restrooms, free washers & $2.50 dryers, free bicycles, a loaner car, and great staff. There’s a canvas shop on site, kayak/outfitting store with rentals, restaurant, and others. Within walking distance you have hardware, marine, 3 groceries, dollar store, etc. Lady’s Island checks off all the boxes. Aaron, the marina manager and Kimberly are fantastic and accommodating in every way possible. There’s a brand new boaters lounge with coffee bar and beer/wine bar. We will be definitely be back again and again.
Like visiting family. Aaron is fantastic. Always look forward to our stay. Dockside restaurant and loaner car are the icing on the cake. Best stop on our ICW cruise.
Nice marina, beautiful place, good service!
Thank you…everything was perfect. And the little welcome sign was a nice touch.
I’m updating a review from a year ago. This was that review: “Excellent experience. Aaron and Tom go the extra mile. You’ll be glad you’re there.” Now having visited the marina a year later for a two day stay, I wish I had more than five stars to give. The facilities are very good, as other reviewers have said. The welcoming attitude is what puts these folks over the top. They are truly glad you’re staying with them, and will do anything they can to make your stay better. Good marina, excellent people.
Very nice! The perfect spot. Always a great marina.
We only stayed 1 night but Aaron was a tremendous help in getting us on the dock with current. He sent a text message ahead of time with approach notes and a satellite photo with our slip assignment highlighted. We've never had that before and it was much appreciated.
It is always a pleasure to stay at Lady's Island Marina. Tom and Aaron are great. Nice facilities and docks. Shopping and dining options are good and are close by. 11/27/23 - Just finished another great stay. Once again everything was great. Thanks Tom and Aaron. See you next time. 6/8/24 - We stopped on our way north. Everything was great as always. Kimberly is a great addition to an excellent staff.
A very nice little marina just off the ICW. The dock master was wonderful and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay.
Excellent Marina. Kimberly (dock master) was great. Communicated frequently with great navigation information. Facilities are in good shape. The restaurant was great. Highly recommended.
We have been to Lady's Island Marina twice. Both staying were lovely. The stall is just fantastic. They make the marina feel like home! The facilities are clean and the docks are in good order. We will always stay at Lady's Island Marina on any trips up and down the ICW.
Very nice marina. We use our onboard bath facilities so didn't see those. Really good restaurant on premises (Dockside Restaurant). Wonderful helpful staff. Aaron is terrific and the dockmaster was super helpful and even made us a reservation at the restaurant (they don't take reservations, only call aheads, and there is always a long line waiting, but with her help, we were walked right past a long line of people waiting, went right to our table for 6 at 6pm with ZERO wait. TIP: Restaurant is extremely popular. If you call yourself, be sure to tell them you're staying in the marina and they'll take really good care of you. While it's sorta dog friendly (a few small patches of grass), no disposal bags and no trash cans. In fact, there are no trash recepticals anywhere. Even a doggie bag has to be carried to the dumpster behind a service building. This was a big hassle. They need some trash cans around the marina proper. Two loaner cars were very helpful for a trip to Boat US and Publix. The marina is on a very busy street and about a mile from the old town, so not walking-friendly. There is a big hardware or marine store directly across the street but it is not open weekends.
Great stay, just the type of marina we look for.
#1, the Staff is EXCELLENT! # 2, the floating docks are in good shape. # 3, four good restaurants that are within walking distance. # 4, Grayco hardware store within easy walking distance. # 5, ole' Time Meat market next to hardware store is the best. # 6, Publix Grocery and soon to be open Harris Teeter are only .7 miles away. # 7, COURTESY CAR!
Did not stay, no one there. Called VHF, no answer, docked boat, walked to office, no one there, gave up!!!
Great staff, courtesy truck, good restaurant
Nice Marina. Really nice people to help and everything was clean
This is a great marina. Courtesy vehicle, 3 grocery stores within 1 mile, great seafood right next door at the Dockside, great showers, great staff, and a whole lot more. We come here instead of Safe Harbor Beaufort. We will be back.
Independently owned small marina that is very accommodating. Restaurants close by and the famous filling station bar and grill is an easy walk. Upper crust pizza ia also close and we recommend the “fat boy” version. Ample clean showers and restrooms with great water pressure. In a deep cove with good shelter from the E, S, W wind with some exposer to N NE wind. Floating docks.
Really was impressed that we received an email the day of our arrival that provided specific approach information as well as a satellite picture of our slip, very helpful and really appreciated! Aaron was friendly and very helpful and gave us so the low down on the marina and town, even drove us into town! Dog friendly marina, very close to town and well kept facilities. Would highly recommend!
The people here were so friendly and helpful including sending a detailed text about docking with a pic of where we would be. Facilities were very well maintained and one of the best restaurants in Beaufort was right on site. It was a great stay!
Accommodations were excellent. Kimberly met us at the dock and helped us get all squared away.
From reservation, to communication, to arrival… all top notch and exceeded our expectations. Kudos to the superb team at Lady’s Island.
We were very impressed with this little marina. Aaron, Director, met us at the dock to tie us up and greeted us by name. We have never experienced this kind of hospitality before.
Awesome marina. Well maintained and operated. Kimberley and Aaron were on the ball and help us work thru an extended stay waiting for repairs. This place is convenient to everything you need for a great stay in Beaufort.
Excellent staff. Above and beyond to be helpful. Good restaurants close to the marina. They have an apartment to rent if you desire to have friends and family during your stay.
We have been traveling by boat for the last 5 months from florida to South Carolina . We’ve seen a lot of marinas but this one is the best. Great showers, great restaurant next door and very helpful staff.
Awesome staff. Very helpful. Close to hardware , supplies and restaurants. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry clean and welcoming. Awesome stay.
I highly recommend staying at Lady's Island Marina. I had several people recommend it to us and I see why. Aaron reached out to us early in the day and provided us with an overhead shot of the marina and where we were going to be docked. Aaron was extremely helpful and even got us reservations at Dockside Restaurant. We will definitely be back to stay there in the future.
Good facility, great people, restaurant is great but can be busy. Love the town Beaufort. Used Uber to get there but none were available had to walk back.
Continues to be one of the best. Never moldy shower curtains and faucets precisely and easily control temperature. Quality toilet paper, which is becoming rare. Enthusiastic and attentive staff. Enjoy before the Private Equity sharks buy them out and start pinching pennies!
The staff and facilities were top notch.
Nice Marina. Very helpful dock master.
Outstanding and pleasant staff. Will stay with them again.
Beautiful quiet marina with east access and great service. And the Dockside restaurant is worth the visit.
This Marina is incredible, it not only reminds me of the islands but is well run and absolute a pleasure to do business with. This is one of our favorite places to stay. Tom the owner is fantastic and surrounds himself with great workers.
Dockmaster Kimberly and manager Aaron were awesome and so helpful in all aspects! Facilities were good and bonus use of courtesy truck for provisions. Beaufort is a lovely town although ride sharing is tough to find, 1 mile walk over bridge to center of town.
Everything was awesome! Aaron standing on the dock to catch our lines. Three clean, comfy showers. Two washers, two dryers. Good dinner at the Dockside restaurant on the marina property. I look forward to stopping again!
Friendly competent staff. The advice on approach and docking was excellent.
If I could give 6 or 7 stars I would. Aaron is great and very helpful. Everyone here is very friendly and it is close to just about whatever you could need.
We had a wonderful stay at Lady's Island Marina. Aaron was very helpful and accommodating in getting us a berth for a week and was there to help us tie up when we arrived. Tom, the owner, was also incredibly friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the area. The marina is close to so many things. It is a short walk to a very good hardware store, a pharmacy, and multiple options for groceries. The marina has a loaner vehicle for short periods as well as bicycles to use. The restrooms/showers/laundry were very clean. It is a nice walk or bike ride over the bridge to access all that Beaufort has to offer - plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. We cannot say enough good things about our visit here and will certainly return!
Great one night stay. clean, strong, hot showers! Tom was extremely helpful.
Aaron communicated quickly and clearly. Was of great assistance securing vessel in strong current. Could not ask for more.
Fine marina 1/2 mile from downtown Beaufort. Aaron took good care of us. Filling station fun bar nearby
Good place to stay and good restaurant right by the marina. Little disappointed that the captains lounge is no longer there, but they are renovating it into something else.
Very helpful. Great communication on day of - weather, slip number, tie up side etc. They will give you a lift to the hotels in downtown Beaufort if it’s during open hours. 👍. The view is great and the vibe of the whole area around the marina is pretty chill. 10/10 will be back.
I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I can't say enough good things about them. Fabulous restaurant on premises, convenient to shopping, loner vehicle... Tom and all his staff were accommodating even when we changed our plans several times (as can happen while cruising). Highly recommend stopping there.
Absolutely fabulous location. Dinner at dockside Hass to be experienced. Staff at Lady’s Island Marina or Five Star. I will be back!
The stay was great. Everyone was very accomodating. The only drawback was that there was no gas at the marina.
We had booked a hotel in downtown Beaufort and the downtown marina was fully booked. We booked and stayed at Lady's Island. Tom, the owner, came down with a cart and helped us unload our boat. Then he loaded our belongings into his truck and drove us over to our motel. He then, picked us up the next morning and drove us back to the marina. Above and beyond exceptional service!!! They also, moved us to a more desirable slip. Very accommodating!!!!
The staff was very cordial and accommodating. They even provided transportation to the Beaufort downtown area.
Staff was super friendly and very helpful! Jack gave us a ride over the bridge over into Beaufort and was very polite and friendly.
Tom and staff are fantastic! I am a repeat customer and plan on returning as soon as I can!
We enjoyed our stay there .Tom was very personable and helpful. We will definitely return. Accommodations were clean and neat
Staff was very helpful. Nice area with a great breakfast place and restaurant on the same site.
Dockmaster, Aaron, was a fantastic host. Very accommodating and pleasant. We will be going back there soon.
Wonderful owner and staff. Very helpful and accommodating. The marina has great amenities They also sent a pre arrival text with some very helpful navigation and docking information. I would highly recommend this marina!
Very friendly and helpful staff . Lots of services - grocery, hardware stores nearby and courtesy car.
Quiet area, friendly staff and walking distance to just about anything. They also have a loaner vehicle ++
great crew! Right there at the dock and waiting for me!
Wonderful small marina. They have bikes and a courtesy car. Aaron and Jack were very helpful getting us docked. Aaron went above and beyond when our dinghy stalled out in the ICW during a day trip to downtown Beaufort. He came out in the pumpout boat & towed us back to the marina. Then he helped us diagnose & fix the problem. Super nice guy! We love this Marina!
Great staff! Very helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Great marina for quick visit to Beaufort. Good Wi-Fi on our dock, clean bathhouse/laundry facility, $2.50 to dry- free to wash, courtesy car for quick trip to Publix with use of sign up sheet, bikes are in good condition and very helpful marina staff/owner. Was nice to have restaurant within walking distance. There is a day dock for dinghy’s just across the bridge that we noticed while riding our bikes in town.
This is one of the very best marinas we have ever stayed at. Great welcoming email before arrival providing arrival instructions, tides/currents and exact slip assignment. Aaron and Jack were exceptional dockhands assisting us upon arrival. Excellent shower and restroom facilities. Dockside Restaurant (next door) was excellent and convenient (Aaron offered to make us a reservation). We took advantage of the pump out boat that came to us slipside. Marina is located in good water just 1/2 mile off the ICW in a very quiet no wake zone. Easy dinghy ride to shopping and bars/restaurants in downtown Beaufort.
Very comfortable stay. Was a little concerned about the current and depth in a small creek, but turned out to be a non issue (I carry 4.5’ draft). The docks are floating and are well maintained. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. There is a courtesy pick-up available, and many stores around to do shopping … even went to the West Marine, but hard pressed to make it back in the allotted 1 hour. The walk into town was about 30-40minutes, so not an issue. Lots of shops and restaurants there. Aaron, the dock master, was very helpful and provided lots of great tips and information.
Perfect little hideaway marina. Quiet and peaceful. Want to stay longer. Hope to stay the month of October. On the wait list. Common Aaron. Help us out :)
Quiet, quaint marina with great amenities including courtesy car and bikes, clean laundry and shower, pump out boat comes to your slip, and great wi-fi. Restaurant, canvas shop, and salon on site. Close to everything. Dock master very helpful. Planned for 3 nights, stayed for 9, and hated to leave.
The dock crew was fantastic. Docked with a strong fair tide. The line handlers made it look easy.
As advertised, good communications, recommend stay
Very nice, friendly little marina! Aaron, was so helpful. He sent an email with explicit instructions, including a map of the marina, highlighting our slip! Restrooms and laundry were nice and clean. On-site restaurant is very nice! Great food and super friendly servers!
Always a favorite so on our way north and south on the ICW. Dockmaster Aaron is welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Dockside restaurant is great.
Quiet place. Nice people. Loaner car is a real bonus. Great neighborhood for taking walks. 2 bathrooms/showers can get full.
Our stay was great. We made reservations for and paid for 2 nights due to the forecast not being favorable. We woke up the next morning and the forecast had changed, so we were able to leave. We asked for a refund of our second night and the dock hand and manager said the owner wouldn’t allow that but he would give us a credit for our next stay. That is unacceptable for boaters. Boaters travel with favorable weather. We’ve always enjoyed our stays here and would have given them a better rating if this had not happened.
Staff was friendly and helpful and to a loaner vehicle was great!
Staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was very relaxed and we had a nice stay overall.
Staff was amazing, location was doable, nice walk over the bridge to downtown and a courtesy car to restock….perfect
This marina was great. Aaron the dock master was awesome guided us into the marina. They have complimentary bicycles, vehicle and washing machines were free and 2.50 to dry. Very friendly and helpful owner. I would recommend staying there
Fantastic! AAron was extemely helpful and considerate, I would definately use this marina again
Aaron the dockmaster could not have been more accomodating! The resturant was great! Courtesy car! Marine supply store accross the street. Heads/showers clean. Canvas shop on premises. A little shallow at low tide getting down the canal but all you need to do is pay attention. Great protection from the wind. Right off the ICW.
One of the best experiences at any Marina. Once we were approaching, Aaron texted very detailed instructions concerning wind, tides, slip location and which side to tie up with. Made it very easy.
Great marina, Tom is the owner super guy. Easy in and easy out. Nice facilities and great floating docks.
We stopped here on the way down the East Coast. Tom and the staff here really worked to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable. We arrived early and Tom called a few slip owners to find an open spot. The laundry, bathroom and showers facilities are well kept and convenient. The use of a courtesy car is an absolute positive for cruising boaters. Beaufort is a short cab ride away and is a very friendly and enjoyable town. We would definitely come back.
Great location for provisioning! Easy walk to gas station, a bit further to a dollar store and grocery. 2 washers and 2 dryers, 3 showers, other boaters quite friendly.
Stopped in for one night and decided to stay for a few weeks. Nice marina just off the ICW so has few wakes and those that do come by are smaller boats. Met many who have become firm longer term dockers after their firs experience.
Best marina on the icw. Professional and competent crew, outstanding support services nearby and a free loaner car, and protected from the weather. A must stop !
Wonderful place with a great vibe and terrific people!\n\nThey have a courtesy car which is a real treat these days and they are super Dog friendly! \n\nWe will stay here again and avoid the hustle and bustle of the downtown Beaufort docks. This is convenient enough to dinghy over to Beaufort or use the courtesy car!
Awesome stop - will return! Aaron the dock master welcomed us with detailed instructions and professional tie up. We loved the climate controlled laundry and sparkling clean showers. The marina made us VIP reservations at a great restaurant next door “Dockside”. The fish (swordfish and salmon) was exceptional as were the fresh steamed green beans and carrots, and low country corn bread served with herb butter with the meal. We used the loaner car for 45 min to provision at Publix (.5 mi). All was exceptional. Looking forward to returning soon! This marina is run as if the owners were there themselves! MV Obsession
We had a fabulous stay at Lady’s Island Marina. The docks are clean and neat, the restaurant at the top of the docks was great, and Tom is the most personable and knowledgeable person you will ever meet. We walked over the swing bridge into town and it is completely charming. We will definitely be staying here again.
Nice marina, great dock hands and close to a lot of stores and only short bike ride to Beaufort.
Great location and convenient marina for trip to Beaufort, courtesy car was nice to get us to our AirBNB. Friendly staff, wish we could have stayed at the rental onsite, looked amazing!
Highly recommend it. Very helpful staff & great location. Use loaner bikes or your dinghy to go downtown Beaufort - no parking problems. There is a courtesy car - Publix, Walmart & West Marine are close. Stay for a while, you will get hooked on the magnificent sunsets
Great marina and location. Dockmaster and crew are top notch. Had excellent drinks and food at the Docksider resteraunt oberlooking the marina. Highly recommend.
Really like this marina. Aaron and Tim were great. Sent us text the day we were arriving telling us all we needed to know to dock. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Work shop if needed and a loaner truck.
Great marina and better dock master! He help us find repair mechanic, reached out in advance with slip assignment, very helpful with lines and reached out to us as we left.
We signed up for a week but stayed an extra day. We found the marina nice and quaint, the owner (Tom) and his staff (Aaron & Jack) delightful. One of the reasons we picked this marina is because they provide a loaner vehicle (though we borrowed it only once). We will be back. Thank you.
Second stay here - - once again, wonderful communication from start to finish. Didn't have to guess where my slip was, nor how to set fenders or lines - all explained ahead of time. Helpful, friendly, and professional service at the dock by Aaron. Great location to bike into historic district from. Wind kept pump out boat from service on Saturday, Tom came in early Sunday (on Mother's Day!) to assure we were taken care of and then checked on everyone else at the dock.
Everything was great. The purpose for our visits as to bring our dog to a veterinarian for a problem. The owner loaned his personal vehicle to bring him to the vet. Thanks, Captain Mike
Great marina with a loaner truck, bikes and free washers! The owner is super helpful.
Wow! What a great marina!! Everyone working the marina was amazing and so incredibly helpful. We had a great exploring the area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ladies Marina!
Great restaurant only 15 min wait excellent food. Worth a several day stay to see history and beautiful Beaufort, SC
Great service and walking distance to two restaurants.
Aaron was extremely helpful. He met me at the dock when I came in. He provided information in advance as the best time to arrive and gave useful navigation tips the day before I arrived. The marina has an on-site restaurant that is excellent and there are other options within easy walking distance.
Dock master Aaron made docking and check-in easy. We made use of the courtesy car to visit historic Beaufort on a still, sunny, Sunday morning. So glad we did. A nice Publix Supermarket is close to the marina for provisioning. Individual showers and toilets always appreciated. Laundry and boaters lounge too. Bikes can be borrowed. Great stay! Thanks Aaron.
This was a great stop for us on SV Scrimshaw. Everything is so centralized. Tom and Aaron are both amazing. I left my boat at this marina and knew I had no worries. I highly recommend this marina to anyone.
Outstanding Marina - one of the nicest we've stayed at along the ICW. Very friendly and generous staff, clean and modern docks & facilities. Highly recommended.
A small marina providing impeccable service. Tom was there to welcome us and help us dock. He was always available to accomadate our every need, and was on hand to assist us when we left. A gem of a marina!
Lots of places to shop within walking distance. Restaurants near by. They also provide a courtesy car. Very nice restrooms and showers. Great laundry room. Nice people.
The people were great, the facilities were wonderful, in a great location with some really good restaurants and bars. The only thing that could have made it better would be to have somebody vacuum the vents in the shower rooms. As you can tell I'm really nit picking here. The free pump out was a real pleasant surprise.
Had to spend a few extra days here undergoing repairs. Tom and the entire staff could not have been more helpful. Clean facilities, nice captains lounge, even a courtesy car. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!
We stayed here during August 2021. This is the nicest, friendliest, cleanest marina we have ever stayed at. It is not too big (75 slips?) and is on a very calm lowcountry "creek" in a "no wake" zone. The management (Tom) and staff (Matthew, Aaron) are the friendliest we've encountered in our travels and will go out of their way to assist with anything. The use of bicycles and even a loaner car to make grocery runs is a great plus!! There are nearby groceries, hardware, fast food, cafe's and restaurants. A stay at this great marina combined with the allure of the Beaufort SC lowcountry charm is a winning combination. We will definitely return and recommend to everyone. Mike/Friend Ship
Great place and very friendly staff. Tucked away nicely.
Staff were extremely helpful, facilities were very clean. Marina was quite and peaceful, not a lot of wake action. Can't wait to go back!!!
Great marina. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Well maintained. Owner is great. My only wish is that it was a little bit cooler/better ventilated in the shower rooms. Even after taking a lukewarm shower it was difficult to get dressed. Would definitely stay there again.
Tom and Matthew met us we arrived to the dock to give us a hand, show us around and made sure we were set for the night. Very CLEAN shower facilities and amazing food at the restaurant at the marina. We would highly recommend Lady's Island marina for the perfect stay in Beaufort!
Great stay! Tom was amazing, met us at dock with a smile after hours, allowed us to use the loaner car to go into town for dinner. I can’t say enough about the service here.
The owner, Tom Daniels, couldn’t have been more helpful. An extremely nice individual. The Marina has the cleanest bathrooms and showers of any Marina we have been in. No rust or corrosion on the fixtures like other marinas. Great lounge/kitchen area for boaters to use. Washers were free to use, you just had to pay for the dryers. Will definitely stay here again. Water was also very calm and a protected from wake on the intercoastal.
Very nice place. Older but clean. Nice people. Small boat store, excellent restaurant. Great hardware store nearby.
What makes a vacation? People, Places and Things Our stay at Lady’s Island Marina has exceeded our expectations in all three categories. We trailered our Ranger Tug R21EC “RedBird” here from Athens, GA and kept her in a slip at the marina while staying at the B&B for a week. The facilities (Things) here are excellent. Tom has done an outstanding job of outfitting this B&B with quality furnishings that are tasteful and well maintained. The view out the windows is to die for. The same level of care is evident in the rest of the Marina facilities. The location of the Marina (Place) is perfect. A short distance to shopping for necessities and convenient to downtown Beaufort for tourist shopping. And, on the water side the marina is protected from the weather out on the river but so close it’s an easy trip to Beaufort, Port Royal and other interesting stops. We also found the Marina Gift shop fun with Diana being a wealth of information about the area. And we took advantage of the salon and got our first haircuts since COVID lockdown forced do it your self approaches. And finally the very best part of the experience has been the People. Everyone in the marina has been extremely friendly and helpful. However, the person who has really made our trip so wonderful is Tom Daniels! Tom as been such a great host. He was encouraging to us when planning the trip and continued to be such a great resource all thru the week we stayed here. Somehow he always appears at just the right moment when we were in need. Either when we had a question or when we needed a hand in coming into the slip with our boat when the wind was picking up. He is truly an amazing person with such a positive attitude. The Place and the Things here would not be the same without this Person (Tom). Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity to experience Low Country hospitality. We will definitely return and tell others about Lady’s Island Marina. Very Best Wishes to Tom, his family and Lady’s Island Marina. Harry and Brenda Hayes Athens, GA
We loved it here. Even though we could have used the complimentary bikes or car, we chose to zip over to town in the dinghy and then took a trip up the Ashley River just for fun . So easy. Glad we chose to stay here in the calm water instead of getting rocked at the city marina. Will definitely be back on our return trip in the fall.
Great marina. People are helpful. Courtesy car an assest. Easy reprovisioning, stores right across the street. Journey Canvas is on premises and does outstanding work. We will be back!
Lovely small marina tucked in a beautiful spot. Extremely nice owner/operator, incredibly helpful. Will absolutely stay there again.
Tom and his crew took great care of us. We made a same day reservation and arrived later than planned after they were closed. Tom made sure we had help with the dock lines and personally greeted us after we arrived.
We enjoyed the staff and near by restaurant but the walk over the bridge to Beaufort is a definite Uber.
Tom the dock master/owner runs a great marina, once there he gave us information on the area. They also have a courtesy car so we could pick up some groceries. There is a great ship's store, clean bathrooms and shower, and laundry. It is an easy in and out from the ICW. Thanks Tom, we always enjoy our stay, we will be back!
Great customer service, used loaner car and bikes. Great location to shop and visit Beaufort.
Enjoyed our stay - only one night tho' as we're on the move right now. Received a very warm welcome from the marina owner, Tom, and a nice tour of the marina's facilities. All very well taken care of! A great restaurant right on property - Lady's Island Dockside. Super delish & the price was really reasonable. Lots of good eating options nearby without having to go into downtown Beaufort. The Lady's Island Marina giftshop was amazing and the ladies running the show fabulous! I never buy gift shop items but 90% of their goods are made by local artisans - from foods to decor - all lovely and worth the visit! Next time we will stay longer as the Beaufort and it's surrounding areas are full of wonderful things to explore.
What a great find! First, we were met at the dock by a smiling Tom, new owner. He handled the lines professionally and introduced us to all the amenities at the marina. A special delight was the dinner at Dock Side restaurant right up the ramp from the marina. I would give the six stars if I could.
Love this place. They have everything you need or it’s nearby. Owner and staff couldn’t be nicer. Hate to share this but they deserve to be recognized for excellence
Nice facilities, friendly professional service. Appreciate the courtesy car and loaner bikes. This is a well thought out, well executed, customer focused marina.
Nice amenaties. Bathrooms/ showers clean. Nice gloating docks. Lounge with kitchen you can cook. Massage therapest and salon on premisis. Also canvas shop for DIY people. Very Nice owners ho out of their way to help out. 2 Loaner vehicles. Very nice protected inlet. Will be back.
DockmasterTom was very helpful. Nice, friendly, clean marina.
It was a really good stay. Tom was very personable a helpful. The floating docks are great. The showers and restrooms were clean. There are two restaurants within walking distance but we got there too late for our one night stay on our way south.
Great small marina. The staff was really helpful. They have a loaner car for store trips and the great restaurant next door. Definitely worth a return trip.
Thanks to the owner Tom and staff for going above and beyond in accommodating us. We will definitely stop there again.
Can’t say enough nice things about this place. Wish we could have stayed longer but were on a time schedule to head to St Augustine. Dock master, Tom, came back to the marina to help us dock as we arrived after closing. Great amenities, facility, very clean and great location with several restaurants in walking distance. Looking forward to coming back and staying longer!
The marina owner and staff are very accommodating, and quick to assist with any need you may have. The facility is immaculate, and obviously very well maintained. The location is convenient to great restaurants, convenience stores, and open water. There is even a vehicle for marina guests who need a lift. We will definitely dock and stay again.
Update: the marina is still wonderful as ever!!! Clean quiet and can’t say enough nice things about Tom (the owner). If I could give the marina 10 stars I certainly would. This is a regular stop in our travels. So quiet, clean has many wonderful things on site (marina store, canvas shop, YOGA?!) We ate at the restaurant Dockside, it was very very good. Can't wait to travel back in the fall to spend more time here! thank you Mary!!
New owner [Tom] as of 1 yr. New dockmaster [Matthew] as of 1 month [Aug2020]. Both trying very hard to please. A pleasure to stay where personal attentiveness is foremost. NOT a 'corporate' facility ......
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Docks are in very good shape and found it easy to park. Had a great stay and plan to go again. Thanks guys!!!!
Very nice and everyone was very friendly.
Super friendly. Great restaurant. Walk to several amenities. No problem getting in and out with 5 ft draft.
Wonderful experience. It’s off the main river and out of the way of the traffic. Facilities are great and there are several restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Tom, the owner was extremely helpful and courteous. We definitely look forward to coming back soon. Thanks Tom!
Awesome experience. Everyone at the marina was welcoming and very helpful. The Dockside restaurant onsite is a must do! Restroom and showers were very clean. Peaceful and quiet at night. Off the beaten path. Fully recommend!
Great night at this marina. Tom, the owner is very accommodating and friendly. Great clean modern facilities with everything you need. Restaurants on premises and nearby. Will be back.
This is one of our favorite stops on the ICW. Follow Mary's directions and the approach is straightforward, depths more than ample. She and resident boaters are friendly and helpful; facilities clean and well-maintained. The restaurant next door is excellent; provisions and liquor are a short walk up the road. Downtown is just across the bridge. This is less expensive, less exposed to winds and much more pleasant than the downtown pier.
Super friendly, very helpful, felt at home comfortable. Clean and well kept up. Lady’s Island is definitely the place to stop visit coming & going on your water travels.
Simply the best experience in Beaufort if your looking for a simple nights rest or a long term berth. A bohemian village of charming helpful caring folks that will probably hold you hostage well beyond you’re planned departure date. Great facility at a very competitive price. Located on Factory Creek, the ultimate hurricane hole!
Up and down the east coast ...... this is one of my home away from home spots. Dockmaster Mary will take great care of you. If you need canvas work, Journey Marine is the one you want doing your work. Need to get some "do it yourself" work done, the marina shop on site is the place. Love the vibe of this marina.
We love Lady's Island Marina. Great facility and even better community of people. Mary, the dockmaster, is the best! Everything you might need, grocery, hardware, propane, banks, restaurants are close by. What more could you ask for?
Lady's was a great stay for us. Mary greeted us and helped us into the dock with a smile. We eat at the restaurant on site. Great! Love this place and will be back.
Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed dinner at the Dockside Restaurant right behind the marina. Our dog enjoyed the play area and meeting tge dock master’s dog SweMo. We checked out the courtesy car for provisioning. Bonus! Very clean and super friendly. PS: it’s on a marsh so expect and respect the dreaded noseeums and bring your Skin So Soft!
My son & I were on a trip from Tampa to Baltimore & stayed here for 3 nights. Quiet, Calm, Mary is very friendly. Rates are a tad high, but offset by other amenities, like a loaner car!
Moorage rates are a bit high for this area, but I liked the people we met. We would stay there again, when passing thur.
Have stayed at many Marina's on the Intercoastal Waterway. This is the BEST. We just left Hilton Head and will stay here for the long term. This marina.............. Has the best & cleanest showers, and restrooms, and they are all private units. The marina rates are very resonable. Short walking distance to many restaurants & shopping. ACE Hardware 1 1/2 blocks away has a large store and great marine selection. Great restaurant at the Marina. Just over the bridge, then your downtown. Close to all marina services. Enterprise Car Rental will pick up & drop off. Same for cabs. Operated by a Super dock manager. (Ted & his wife) Safe and secure place to leave your boat. Best place to be during a storm. Pump out, but no fuel. Free cable TV with lots of channels. WIFI has just been upgraded. "flight Deck "
