Lady's Island Marina in Beaufort, South Carolina, is known for its natural beauty, convenient location, and friendly management. We are located on the protected waters of Factory Creek, less than 1/2 mile from the ICW. Slips are available for transient and long-term rentals. We have a DIY boaters' workshop, boaters' lounge, courtesy car and loaner bikes. Overlooking the marina is longtime local favorite, Dockside Restaurant. Next door (almost) is Beaufort hangout The Fillin' Station, with a covered deck set above Factory Creek. On-site the the marina boathouse, you'll find Journey Marine Canvas, One Yoga Sanctuary, massage therapy and the Lady's Island Marina Store. Everything else you might need is within a mile on Sea Island Parkway, including groceries, hardware, liquor store, pharmacy, additional restaurants, banks, medical & dental and veterinary care. Historic downtown Beaufort is 1 mile away.
One of the best experiences at any Marina. Once we were approaching, Aaron texted very detailed instructions concerning wind, tides, slip location and which side to tie up with. Made it very easy.
Great location for provisioning! Easy walk to gas station, a bit further to a dollar store and grocery. 2 washers and 2 dryers, 3 showers, other boaters quite friendly.
Nice marina, great dock hands and close to a lot of stores and only short bike ride to Beaufort.
Great location and convenient marina for trip to Beaufort, courtesy car was nice to get us to our AirBNB. Friendly staff, wish we could have stayed at the rental onsite, looked amazing!
Highly recommend it. Very helpful staff & great location. Use loaner bikes or your dinghy to go downtown Beaufort - no parking problems. There is a courtesy car - Publix, Walmart & West Marine are close. Stay for a while, you will get hooked on the magnificent sunsets
Beautiful quiet marina with east access and great service. And the Dockside restaurant is worth the visit.
Great marina and location. Dockmaster and crew are top notch. Had excellent drinks and food at the Docksider resteraunt oberlooking the marina. Highly recommend.
Really like this marina. Aaron and Tim were great. Sent us text the day we were arriving telling us all we needed to know to dock. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Work shop if needed and a loaner truck.
Great marina and better dock master! He help us find repair mechanic, reached out in advance with slip assignment, very helpful with lines and reached out to us as we left.
We signed up for a week but stayed an extra day. We found the marina nice and quaint, the owner (Tom) and his staff (Aaron & Jack) delightful. One of the reasons we picked this marina is because they provide a loaner vehicle (though we borrowed it only once). We will be back. Thank you.
Second stay here - - once again, wonderful communication from start to finish. Didn't have to guess where my slip was, nor how to set fenders or lines - all explained ahead of time. Helpful, friendly, and professional service at the dock by Aaron. Great location to bike into historic district from. Wind kept pump out boat from service on Saturday, Tom came in early Sunday (on Mother's Day!) to assure we were taken care of and then checked on everyone else at the dock.
Everything was great. The purpose for our visits as to bring our dog to a veterinarian for a problem. The owner loaned his personal vehicle to bring him to the vet. Thanks, Captain Mike
Great marina with a loaner truck, bikes and free washers! The owner is super helpful.
Wow! What a great marina!! Everyone working the marina was amazing and so incredibly helpful. We had a great exploring the area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ladies Marina!
Great restaurant only 15 min wait excellent food. Worth a several day stay to see history and beautiful Beaufort, SC
Great service and walking distance to two restaurants.
Aaron was extremely helpful. He met me at the dock when I came in. He provided information in advance as the best time to arrive and gave useful navigation tips the day before I arrived. The marina has an on-site restaurant that is excellent and there are other options within easy walking distance.
Dock master Aaron made docking and check-in easy. We made use of the courtesy car to visit historic Beaufort on a still, sunny, Sunday morning. So glad we did. A nice Publix Supermarket is close to the marina for provisioning. Individual showers and toilets always appreciated. Laundry and boaters lounge too. Bikes can be borrowed. Great stay! Thanks Aaron.
This was a great stop for us on SV Scrimshaw. Everything is so centralized. Tom and Aaron are both amazing. I left my boat at this marina and knew I had no worries. I highly recommend this marina to anyone.
Wonderful place with a great vibe and terrific people! They have a courtesy car which is a real treat these days and they are super Dog friendly! We will stay here again and avoid the hustle and bustle of the downtown Beaufort docks. This is convenient enough to dinghy over to Beaufort or use the courtesy car!
Outstanding Marina - one of the nicest we've stayed at along the ICW. Very friendly and generous staff, clean and modern docks & facilities. Highly recommended.
A small marina providing impeccable service. Tom was there to welcome us and help us dock. He was always available to accomadate our every need, and was on hand to assist us when we left. A gem of a marina!
Lots of places to shop within walking distance. Restaurants near by. They also provide a courtesy car. Very nice restrooms and showers. Great laundry room. Nice people.
The people were great, the facilities were wonderful, in a great location with some really good restaurants and bars. The only thing that could have made it better would be to have somebody vacuum the vents in the shower rooms. As you can tell I'm really nit picking here. The free pump out was a real pleasant surprise.
Had to spend a few extra days here undergoing repairs. Tom and the entire staff could not have been more helpful. Clean facilities, nice captains lounge, even a courtesy car. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!
We stayed here during August 2021. This is the nicest, friendliest, cleanest marina we have ever stayed at. It is not too big (75 slips?) and is on a very calm lowcountry "creek" in a "no wake" zone. The management (Tom) and staff (Matthew, Aaron) are the friendliest we've encountered in our travels and will go out of their way to assist with anything. The use of bicycles and even a loaner car to make grocery runs is a great plus!! There are nearby groceries, hardware, fast food, cafe's and restaurants. A stay at this great marina combined with the allure of the Beaufort SC lowcountry charm is a winning combination. We will definitely return and recommend to everyone. Mike/Friend Ship
Great place and very friendly staff. Tucked away nicely.
Staff were extremely helpful, facilities were very clean. Marina was quite and peaceful, not a lot of wake action. Can't wait to go back!!!
Great marina. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Well maintained. Owner is great. My only wish is that it was a little bit cooler/better ventilated in the shower rooms. Even after taking a lukewarm shower it was difficult to get dressed. Would definitely stay there again.
Tom and Matthew met us we arrived to the dock to give us a hand, show us around and made sure we were set for the night. Very CLEAN shower facilities and amazing food at the restaurant at the marina. We would highly recommend Lady's Island marina for the perfect stay in Beaufort!
Great stay! Tom was amazing, met us at dock with a smile after hours, allowed us to use the loaner car to go into town for dinner. I can’t say enough about the service here.
The owner, Tom Daniels, couldn’t have been more helpful. An extremely nice individual. The Marina has the cleanest bathrooms and showers of any Marina we have been in. No rust or corrosion on the fixtures like other marinas. Great lounge/kitchen area for boaters to use. Washers were free to use, you just had to pay for the dryers. Will definitely stay here again. Water was also very calm and a protected from wake on the intercoastal.
Very nice place. Older but clean. Nice people. Small boat store, excellent restaurant. Great hardware store nearby.
What makes a vacation? People, Places and Things Our stay at Lady’s Island Marina has exceeded our expectations in all three categories. We trailered our Ranger Tug R21EC “RedBird” here from Athens, GA and kept her in a slip at the marina while staying at the B&B for a week. The facilities (Things) here are excellent. Tom has done an outstanding job of outfitting this B&B with quality furnishings that are tasteful and well maintained. The view out the windows is to die for. The same level of care is evident in the rest of the Marina facilities. The location of the Marina (Place) is perfect. A short distance to shopping for necessities and convenient to downtown Beaufort for tourist shopping. And, on the water side the marina is protected from the weather out on the river but so close it’s an easy trip to Beaufort, Port Royal and other interesting stops. We also found the Marina Gift shop fun with Diana being a wealth of information about the area. And we took advantage of the salon and got our first haircuts since COVID lockdown forced do it your self approaches. And finally the very best part of the experience has been the People. Everyone in the marina has been extremely friendly and helpful. However, the person who has really made our trip so wonderful is Tom Daniels! Tom as been such a great host. He was encouraging to us when planning the trip and continued to be such a great resource all thru the week we stayed here. Somehow he always appears at just the right moment when we were in need. Either when we had a question or when we needed a hand in coming into the slip with our boat when the wind was picking up. He is truly an amazing person with such a positive attitude. The Place and the Things here would not be the same without this Person (Tom). Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity to experience Low Country hospitality. We will definitely return and tell others about Lady’s Island Marina. Very Best Wishes to Tom, his family and Lady’s Island Marina. Harry and Brenda Hayes Athens, GA
We loved it here. Even though we could have used the complimentary bikes or car, we chose to zip over to town in the dinghy and then took a trip up the Ashley River just for fun . So easy. Glad we chose to stay here in the calm water instead of getting rocked at the city marina. Will definitely be back on our return trip in the fall.
Great marina. People are helpful. Courtesy car an assest. Easy reprovisioning, stores right across the street. Journey Canvas is on premises and does outstanding work. We will be back!
Lovely small marina tucked in a beautiful spot. Extremely nice owner/operator, incredibly helpful. Will absolutely stay there again.
Tom and his crew took great care of us. We made a same day reservation and arrived later than planned after they were closed. Tom made sure we had help with the dock lines and personally greeted us after we arrived.
We enjoyed the staff and near by restaurant but the walk over the bridge to Beaufort is a definite Uber.
Tom the dock master/owner runs a great marina, once there he gave us information on the area. They also have a courtesy car so we could pick up some groceries. There is a great ship's store, clean bathrooms and shower, and laundry. It is an easy in and out from the ICW. Thanks Tom, we always enjoy our stay, we will be back!
Great customer service, used loaner car and bikes. Great location to shop and visit Beaufort.
Enjoyed our stay - only one night tho' as we're on the move right now. Received a very warm welcome from the marina owner, Tom, and a nice tour of the marina's facilities. All very well taken care of! A great restaurant right on property - Lady's Island Dockside. Super delish & the price was really reasonable. Lots of good eating options nearby without having to go into downtown Beaufort. The Lady's Island Marina giftshop was amazing and the ladies running the show fabulous! I never buy gift shop items but 90% of their goods are made by local artisans - from foods to decor - all lovely and worth the visit! Next time we will stay longer as the Beaufort and it's surrounding areas are full of wonderful things to explore.
What a great find! First, we were met at the dock by a smiling Tom, new owner. He handled the lines professionally and introduced us to all the amenities at the marina. A special delight was the dinner at Dock Side restaurant right up the ramp from the marina. I would give the six stars if I could.
Love this place. They have everything you need or it’s nearby. Owner and staff couldn’t be nicer. Hate to share this but they deserve to be recognized for excellence
Nice facilities, friendly professional service. Appreciate the courtesy car and loaner bikes. This is a well thought out, well executed, customer focused marina.
Nice amenaties. Bathrooms/ showers clean. Nice gloating docks. Lounge with kitchen you can cook. Massage therapest and salon on premisis. Also canvas shop for DIY people. Very Nice owners ho out of their way to help out. 2 Loaner vehicles. Very nice protected inlet. Will be back.
DockmasterTom was very helpful. Nice, friendly, clean marina.
It was a really good stay. Tom was very personable a helpful. The floating docks are great. The showers and restrooms were clean. There are two restaurants within walking distance but we got there too late for our one night stay on our way south.
Great small marina. The staff was really helpful. They have a loaner car for store trips and the great restaurant next door. Definitely worth a return trip.
Thanks to the owner Tom and staff for going above and beyond in accommodating us. We will definitely stop there again.
Can’t say enough nice things about this place. Wish we could have stayed longer but were on a time schedule to head to St Augustine. Dock master, Tom, came back to the marina to help us dock as we arrived after closing. Great amenities, facility, very clean and great location with several restaurants in walking distance. Looking forward to coming back and staying longer!
The marina owner and staff are very accommodating, and quick to assist with any need you may have. The facility is immaculate, and obviously very well maintained. The location is convenient to great restaurants, convenience stores, and open water. There is even a vehicle for marina guests who need a lift. We will definitely dock and stay again.
Update: the marina is still wonderful as ever!!! Clean quiet and can’t say enough nice things about Tom (the owner). If I could give the marina 10 stars I certainly would. This is a regular stop in our travels. So quiet, clean has many wonderful things on site (marina store, canvas shop, YOGA?!) We ate at the restaurant Dockside, it was very very good. Can't wait to travel back in the fall to spend more time here! thank you Mary!!
New owner [Tom] as of 1 yr. New dockmaster [Matthew] as of 1 month [Aug2020]. Both trying very hard to please. A pleasure to stay where personal attentiveness is foremost. NOT a 'corporate' facility ......
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Docks are in very good shape and found it easy to park. Had a great stay and plan to go again. Thanks guys!!!!
Very nice and everyone was very friendly.
Super friendly. Great restaurant. Walk to several amenities. No problem getting in and out with 5 ft draft.
Wonderful experience. It’s off the main river and out of the way of the traffic. Facilities are great and there are several restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Tom, the owner was extremely helpful and courteous. We definitely look forward to coming back soon. Thanks Tom!
Awesome experience. Everyone at the marina was welcoming and very helpful. The Dockside restaurant onsite is a must do! Restroom and showers were very clean. Peaceful and quiet at night. Off the beaten path. Fully recommend!
Great night at this marina. Tom, the owner is very accommodating and friendly. Great clean modern facilities with everything you need. Restaurants on premises and nearby. Will be back.
This is one of our favorite stops on the ICW. Follow Mary's directions and the approach is straightforward, depths more than ample. She and resident boaters are friendly and helpful; facilities clean and well-maintained. The restaurant next door is excellent; provisions and liquor are a short walk up the road. Downtown is just across the bridge. This is less expensive, less exposed to winds and much more pleasant than the downtown pier.
Super friendly, very helpful, felt at home comfortable. Clean and well kept up. Lady’s Island is definitely the place to stop visit coming & going on your water travels.
Simply the best experience in Beaufort if your looking for a simple nights rest or a long term berth. A bohemian village of charming helpful caring folks that will probably hold you hostage well beyond you’re planned departure date. Great facility at a very competitive price. Located on Factory Creek, the ultimate hurricane hole!
Up and down the east coast ...... this is one of my home away from home spots. Dockmaster Mary will take great care of you. If you need canvas work, Journey Marine is the one you want doing your work. Need to get some "do it yourself" work done, the marina shop on site is the place. Love the vibe of this marina.
We love Lady's Island Marina. Great facility and even better community of people. Mary, the dockmaster, is the best! Everything you might need, grocery, hardware, propane, banks, restaurants are close by. What more could you ask for?
Lady's was a great stay for us. Mary greeted us and helped us into the dock with a smile. We eat at the restaurant on site. Great! Love this place and will be back.
Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed dinner at the Dockside Restaurant right behind the marina. Our dog enjoyed the play area and meeting tge dock master’s dog SweMo. We checked out the courtesy car for provisioning. Bonus! Very clean and super friendly. PS: it’s on a marsh so expect and respect the dreaded noseeums and bring your Skin So Soft!
My son & I were on a trip from Tampa to Baltimore & stayed here for 3 nights. Quiet, Calm, Mary is very friendly. Rates are a tad high, but offset by other amenities, like a loaner car!
Moorage rates are a bit high for this area, but I liked the people we met. We would stay there again, when passing thur.
Have stayed at many Marina's on the Intercoastal Waterway. This is the BEST. We just left Hilton Head and will stay here for the long term. This marina.............. Has the best & cleanest showers, and restrooms, and they are all private units. The marina rates are very resonable. Short walking distance to many restaurants & shopping. ACE Hardware 1 1/2 blocks away has a large store and great marine selection. Great restaurant at the Marina. Just over the bridge, then your downtown. Close to all marina services. Enterprise Car Rental will pick up & drop off. Same for cabs. Operated by a Super dock manager. (Ted & his wife) Safe and secure place to leave your boat. Best place to be during a storm. Pump out, but no fuel. Free cable TV with lots of channels. WIFI has just been upgraded. "flight Deck "
