Diversey Harbor is located in the heart of Lincoln Park sheltered within Lake Shore Drive. Due to bridge restrictions, Diversey can only accommodate power boaters as the clearance is approximately 10.5 - 11'.
Diversey Harbor has a friendly and lively reputation. Within walking distance of the harbor is the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. The harbor is also the home to the Diversey Yacht Club. Diversey has 719 slips and can accommodate boats from 25’-50’ in length.
Transient docking is available. There is a fuel dock at Diversey Harbor located at the Diversey Yacht Club with gas and diesel fuels. Additionally, there is a 2-lane launch ramp with parking for approximately 67 vehicles with trailers. Waste pump-out equipment is provided on a no-charge basis. The harbor monitors channels 9 and 16 and the switch to/working channel is 69.
The crew that runs Diversey Harbor are top notch. They run a tight ship and are very accommodating to transient boaters. I come to the city several times a summer and always make it a point to try t stay at Diversey Harbor. The docks, grounds & slips are always clean. My assigned slip is always ready and clearly communicated well in advance of my arrival. Great crew indeed!
Bathrooms could use a better cleaning. I went right after the guy “cleaned it” and there was toilet paper on the ground the floor not shower area was cleaned. He took out the garbage and cleaned the toilet that was it.
Bathrooms and showers were disgusting! Like they have never been cleaned! For the money they charge per night I want a clean bathroom!! Just nasty!!
Our stay at Diversey harbor was awesome. Harbor master Kevin couldn't have been more accommodating. We would highly recommend docking your boat at Diversey!
There was a slight glitch when I was put at a dock with the wrong electrical supply, but the Harbor Master was very gracious at putting me in a better position in the Marina with access to the Yacht Club facilities. We were not members but he honored a reciprocal agreement with the Yacht Club I am a member at. The people working in the Yacht Club were outstanding and we really appreciated Rachel's hospitality.
Convenient location. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Great amenities.
The slip and the people were great! We'll be back. Thanks, John
Love this place. The only thing to critique is the bathrooms. It would be helpful to bust out doors that lead directly into the showers and close in the wall between the showers and stools.. The reward in improvement over the cost would surely be great.. Otherwise, always a great time..
Would have given Diversey Harbor a 5 Star rating, BUT... DOCKWA is getting in their way! The Dockway website is awful to work with and very slow. Does not provide answers to questions about parking etc. Go back to the old way of handling reservations for a slip with Kevin and his crew. Kevin was wonderful, excellent customer service! He had to change our slip three times, but finally was able to find an actual open slip for us, which was perfect, again the DOCKWA system was to blame! Love Diversey Harbor and the friendly people and staff! Tom & Liesl Ignoffo
This was my first time on the "big lake" (Michigan) and I was met by the Diversy Harbor staff as if I had been a long time slip owner there. The staff was super friendly and they were always willing to help out. Thanks!
Diversey Harbor was perfect for us. We used a transient slip since we rolled in from Milwaukee for one night. The Harbor staff were helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and I was impressed that they even had showers. During the day the harbor was quite busy with lots of parties on boats, but by the evening it was quiet and stayed quiet all night. There are not streets too close, so little traffic noise as well. We will be back. Thanks for your hospitality.
Great location. Docks are very close together, so maneuvering in and out of the slip is tight. Dock Manager came in an hour late, but was friendly and easy to work with. Fuel dock guy was mildly rude as we bought $450 of fuel.
