Claim this MarinaNegative 5 stars. Oh where to start with the hell whole. Fire all the staff. Then install some trash cans at every corner of the dock. Then pay staff to actually do work like take said trash out, and assist people. Fix the parking so the staff is parked furthest away. Install a/c in the dang showers how cheap do you get?? Pave the rest of the parking lot( again cheap/ greedy managment).. Sean should be charged with class action harassment. If there isn't such a thing, invent it for this pompous short man syndrome fueled hate on anyone that he deems won't line his demon wallet.
Negative 1. Horrible. Pay to rent a mooring ball and expect to be treated like your a horrible person. The dockmaster is a complete selfcentered person who has different rules for different people. Unbelievably the worst experience I have ever encountered. One nightmare after another. You aren't treated as a guest or a customer. Your treated like your living under the dickmasters house and he doesn't know what the words caring and helpful even mean and he doesn't care, he even let's his employees park closest to the water so all the paying tenants have to walk further to get to their dinghys. What other institution does that? Even Wendy's makes their employees walk to save parking spots for their customers. And fyi. He will "trespass" with a deputy just because he doesn't want them to live their because of his own personal issues and apparently he's allowed to kick people out with no explanation at all. I know 3 people he has done this to. Just a heads up. Could end up to be your worst nightmare
Not worth getting shot and killed over. Mutiple shootings, crazy patrons, rude marina staff, failing infrastructure.
Never again. Worst staff ever. My wife and I have been on the water for 35 years and have never been spoken to by a staff memeber let alone a member of city staff. Save yourself the strees and go anywhere else.
You will be disapointed in Boot Key Harbor if you are looking for a resort atmosphere and amenities. The restroom and shower facilities are basic concrete buildings. There is no pool or bar/ restaurant. (Although there are several in the area, either within walking distance or a short cab ride.) What you will find is a vibrant comunity of live aboards and semi transient cruisers. The mooring field is very proffesionaly run. We spent 3 nights here waiting on a weather window to get to Key West, and when the skies cleared, we didn't want to leave! Everyone we came across was friendly and helpfull.
