Disappointing Experience at Holland Marine My recent experience with Holland Marine left much to be desired. As a customer entrusting them with my boat, I expected exceptional workmanship and clear communication. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of these expectations. The quality of workmanship at Holland Marine, in my opinion, was subpar. Despite assurances of expertise, the final result did not reflect this. Issues such as incomplete repairs were evident, leaving me with doubts about the competence of their technicians and management. Additionally, the lack of attention to detail was concerning, as it impacted the overall performance and aesthetics of my boat. Communication with Holland Marine was a significant frustration throughout my engagement with them. Despite repeated attempts to inquire about the progress of the repairs, I was met with silence or vague responses. This lack of transparency made it difficult for me to plan and manage my expectations. Furthermore, when concerns were raised, they were often dismissed or not adequately addressed, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer. My overall experience with Holland Marine was disappointing. In my opinion, the combination of poor workmanship and lack of communication highlightsj significant shortcomings within the company. As a customer, I expected better service and professionalism. In conclusion, I hope that Holland Marine takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to improve both their craftsmanship and communication practices in the future.

Tom Holland has a "little man" complex.... if you dare to question anything they do he will not discuss it he simply holds your boat ransome... I have owned my boat for 20 years and have done the bottom paint many times over the years... (this yard does not allow owners to do any work themselves) Last December I drove down from Maine expecting the bottom to be finished..... I arrived unannounced to find the starboard side with one coat of paint and the port side unsanded and unpainted.... I went to breakfast and came back an hour later to find the port side painted.... their was not time enough to sand and paint two coats as promised. I went to the office to talk to Tom and let him know what I had observed.... He wouldn't even listen to me.... and told his manager not to launch me untill I was paid in full.... What is one to do? I paid the bill in full and in cash....and simply said it would never happen again..... Fast forward to June: I stayed at Renolds Park marina next door this season and can't say enough good about dockmaster Austin and his assistant Miranda.... they are just great and this was the third year I have spent there at the marina and stored my boat on the hard in their yard and always prepaid for my six months of storage in cash.... now my problem.... Reynolds Park does have storage space but they don't have a travel lift and have Holland marine pull the boat and move it into their storage yard. When I called to arrange the haulout I spoke with Hal and he put me on the schedule for today (Monday). This morning I get a call from Tom Holland and he told me that due to my complaint in December on the bottom work he refused to pull my boat for storage in Reynolds yard.... Talk about a small man holding a grudge !! I was never disrespectful to him just wanted him to know what I had observed.... I would be very careful dealing with him and would not recommend it. So now I have to find another yard to store my boat and it will cost Reynolds Park 5000 dollars a year between storage and marina fees and they have been great to deal with.....and this is not their fault... If you look here and other review sites you will find others who have had bad experiences with Tom Holland marine.... one put it perfectly .... " one minute you are dealing with Jeckel and the next Hyde" if you dare to question anything. Joseph Pooler

Stop!!! Whatever you do, do not take your boat to this marina. The employees seem ok but the owner, who runs all operations is a liar, a cheat and a thief. He lied about what work was completed and double billed on some large items because of his own mistakes. If you have any choice at all, go elsewhere for service. Boat storage may be different but I was over billed. If I could give a negative star rating I would.
