Safe Harbor Harbortown blends the shelter of a natural island breakwater with the convenience of bridge-free access to Fort Pierce inlet to create a truly distinctive Treasure Coast boating experience. Distinguished for its exceptional hospitality along with a brand-new pool, shoreside dining, and a calendar of vibrant social events, the marina is an inviting oceanfront haven for all mariners.
Well kept marina and staff was exemplary. The finger docks were a little small and dated, but the overall marina and experience was great.
Harbortown is always a great marina to dock my boat, staff is super friendly, Allison is one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met, planning on going back next May if I can reserve a slip again!!! It’s a 5 star marina for sure!
Coming in with a broken arm they were there waiting to help us dock. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We had some autopilot issues and needed to stay a few extra days and they made it no problem at all. My favorite part was the pool!! Being able to cool off everyday was a godsend. The laundry was great, good ac and big. The also had a great big library! And a gym and captain's lounge. The restaurant on site was good, we ate their a couple of times. It was very easy to get our groceries delivered and get ubers when we needed. But a tip, if you need to go to the hospital, absolutely do not go to the nearest one! It was horrifying! But this marina certainly made up for it! They came to help us undock and say goodbye also! Thank you so much!
Safe Harbor Harbortown has new docks for catamarans - very nice floating docks with pumpout stations on the dock. We are awaiting a haulout for some warranty service and they have been very accommodating during our stay. They do not offer weekly rates, but they do have a monthly rate and daily transient rate -- pretty much in line with other marinas in the area.
3 stars for the marina being "average" in condition and amenities. 1 star for putting our boat with 4'8" draft in a slip with only 4' at low tide. The place was full so we couldn't move to another slip. Wish they would have told us before we had to be dragged into the slip. I doubt we would consider staying there again.
Great restaurant. Friendly helpful people. Clean restrooms and laundry.
The Staff and facility are top notch. We will definitely be back
Staff and accommodations were excellent. We will be back!
Friendly efficient marina with good facilities, pool and a restaurant bar with live entetainment and a great vibe.
Easy in and out. Kevin very helpful with docking.
May 7, 2023. Again we had a great stay at Harbortown. 3 Dock hands to help us dock and settle in. Also a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Thank you. May 5, 2022. We received wonderful support and kindness. We had two lovely dock hands help us in and then insecure us as we landed. Showers were immaculate, always a plus. New large laundry. All questions were answered by the staff with a smile. Thank you very much!
Very nice marina. Top notch floating docks. Great staff, and nice restaurant onsite. Definitely will be returning
I was met at slip by several dockhands to help me get situated. Everybody was quite helpful.
Nice Marina, well protected. Nice staff. Fairways are a bit narrow. No restaurant. Skippers cove bar serves food and it is okay but no breakfast available No ships store. They have a tour boat activity and a small pool but pool is a hike from the docks.
Nice marina. New floating docks being installed. Staff is extremely helpful. Great restaurant on site. There is also a Publix within walking distance. Great stop!
Would give 5 stars when they get power to all of the docks. Helpful crew and good restaurant. Very clean.
Family and I stopped in for a few days. Great folks. I had a moment and was not a nice guy, they were very professional and accommodating. New floating docks are very nice! There is a bit of confusion if you try to reference the map provided on Dockwa. The names have changed on the docks so make sure and clarify which dock you're assigned to.
We recently stayed there for about a week while doing our Great Loop trip. The staff was nice and helpful. They have a very nice pool and restaurant on site. All gates to docks are locked at all times and accessed via key fob. Only comment is that the docks are getting old and the piers are very, very short (must stern in). Also full service marina with haul out is on-site -- but they are backed up for weeks, so things need to be scheduled well in advance.
Very capable facility with boat yard and fuel. Restaurant and nice pool on site. Docks however need some improvement. Finger piers are very narrow and main piers are worn.
We recently spent the night on the fuel dock at Harbortown Marina … our experience was great. The staff were helpful and welcoming during our stay. We were given a key fob for access to the facilities. The restaurant which has recently reopened under a new name Skippers Cove was excellent. Live music and fabulous food we’re right on the property. The grounds were landscaped so beautifully and clean. Along with a pool laundry and walking distance to get groceries. We highly recommend a stay at Harbortown Marina The Hinrichsen’s
Great staff. Easy enough location. Nice facilities. Daily rate a bit expensive but sometimes you need to bite the bullet.
The staff at Safe Harbor Harbortown did a fabulous job! It was a great experience. I highly recommend this Marina.
This place is really nice- a bit expensive but worth it. Security was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant both nights, good food and met some really nice people. The laundry looks brand new, $5 per load and is well kept. Publix (grocery & liquor) is a nice walk with sidewalks and crosswalks but a couple of shady characters a long the way. Go in pairs. Overall was excellent and yes we will be back.
The people are great. Facilities are slightly limited, but overall very good. \n\nEvery person we came in contact with was smiling and helpful. \n\nThe restrooms and showers were clean. There seems to be many long term live-aboards at the Marina and that seems to help contribute to an atmosphere of “this is our place, let’s treat it like such”.\n\nThere are both trash and recycling receptacles. \n\nAll docks are fixed, but floating docks were just being installed when we visited. \n\nThe ships store is very limited and doesn’t carry even things like water or any food stuffs. This is offset by hot coffee every morning at 7 am kept going by the longer term patrons. \n\nAnd, there is a Publix grocery store about 1,000 yards walk away. \n\nThere is a reasonably priced restaurant on site. \n\nValvtec gas and diesel were on tap and a ship's repair yard is onsite.
VERY FRIENDLY DOCKSIDE SERVICE. Hospitable. Would definitely recommend.\n
Restrooms are clean the staff was friendly and worked to accommodate us. The harbor is well protected from wind! We kept our boat on the hard for 6 months and thru hurricane Nichole. Wade and his guys did a great job tying it down and secured. Great place to stay. The restaurant is expensive for the quality of food and very little selection. There are outside non quests that get into the pool area at times. Most locals on docks are great people all offering to help if needed. And fun to be with. I would stay here again for sure in future. I had one issue with a request for a guest boat boat to dock for 1 hour for lunch The dock attendant could not accommodate me but the Dock Manager did. All worked out in the end.
Thanksgiving and helped us out greatly. Fuel dock guys were great
Accommodating and helpful. We use (and paid for) 30 amp shore power but the towers were 50 amp. I don’t carry an adapter (I’ll change that soon!) and the manager came down to bring me one after hours.
Great marina. Nice amenities and great staff. Will be really nice when new docks are in and restaurant opens.
Our stay at Harbortown Marina was terrific. A large thank you to Daniel, Kennet, and Jared, they made everything easy.\n\nCheers to them 👏
Staff was at best, unhelpful. Transient power base long walk. Compared to other marinas, dock left lot to be desired. Bar and grill was good with good/friendly service. We won’t be returning.
We had a very nice quiet night. Restaurant was onsite with good food and live music. Pool was very clean - water a bit warm but still nice to have available. Great for dog walking. Only negative was we came in at low tide and it is a bit shallow - definitely spinning silt with 3'10" draft. We would definitely come again.
Great marina. Easy access. Very helpful dockhands. Great coffee group in the am! The restaurant could use some cuisine improvement.
Well protected marina. Friendly staff greeted us and gave us a pump out at the fuel dock. We walked over to the on-site restaurant for a nice dinner. Left the next morning with no issues.
Great place for a our 2 day stop. Easy access to fuel and pump out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Laundry facilities were exceptionally clean. EXCELLENT restaurant and bar with very friendly staff as well. A definite go to on the east side of Florida.
Another great stay at Safe Harbor. All good. Keep it going. Restaurant on site is great. Everything clean and neat.
Very welcoming marina!! Wade, Christina and all the dockhands were very accommodating and very helpful to us. Well run and nicely maintained marina. Restaurant food was outstanding. We enjoyed a very peaceful evening. We draw 5’. Plenty of water. We also enjoyed great service from the haul out team!
Helpful dockmaster and team at the marina - this was very much appreciated by us newbies. Clean bathrooms, laundry room and captains lounge. Thank you!
Excellent dock staff, pool great, good restaurant. Protected harbor
Entry was easy with good water all the way in. Dock hands were waiting for us and tie up was quick and painless. Restrooms and showers were clean. Fuel dock was just refurbished and opened the morning I departed. Assistance was great at the fuel pier too.
Super friendly and helpful staff and friendly helpful messaging through dockwa. Quiet waters near boatyards, feels casual and friendly and calm. Lovely, well-kept facilities and brand new clean laundry with lots of machines. Wifi actually works--unusual for marinas we've been to lately (albeit quite slowly!). Only small downside: Non-floating docks.
Ive been transiting south from Rhode Island to Ocean Reef, FL and have stayed at multiple Safe Harbor marinas. HarborTown was very much a disappointment as the facilities (docks, etc) are poor and the water depth questionable. I draw 5’ and I was showing zeros. HarborTown also had the highest nightly rates of my entire trip. I will not return unless improvements are made. The dock staff was polite and helpful.
Safe Harbor Harbortown was a great stay. We were greeted and docked by an amazing crew. All facilities were clean. And a great bar and restaurant were at our disposal. Will definitely be back!!
Very secure face dock for our 63’ boat. Easy approach down the channel. Convenient restaurant on site. We will return again.
Our third time as guests at Harbortown Marina. We haven't been disappointed and doubt that we will be.. Great facility, helpful staff and a fabulous restaurant in the marina complex.
Staff was helpful and professional, and addressed all of my needs quickly. Amenities are modern, clean, and all in good working order. Grounds are clean, and well maintained, and the marina is easy to access from the ICW.
Tight marina. Boats are very snug in the dock. Really short finger piers. Marina has laundry and plenty of bathhouses. Restaurant is good and has music on the weekends. We changed our oil while there and they have a recycling ♻️area to place your old oil in. Everyone on the docks are super friendly. Amenities are a 5 star.
Dock staff was much more helpful and friendly compared to our last stay. The food at the restaurant was good but not great. The best part was the helpfulness of the team to get the full haul out accommodated. It was greatly appreciated.
Didn’t know if one could access pool / get WiFi / or anything else — ? Nice docks ! Would definitely stay here again
Too many dogs, too many smokers. Rules are unenforced. No dog park so they piss and shit over every square inch of grass and on the docks. Sure owners pick up the messes but do you want to walk there? Otherwise, great town, great beaches, nice staff and lots of amenities like a pool, clean showers (when people don't smoke in them).
We hade stayed in other Safe Harbor marinas and have been very happy with it. On this marina unusable WiFi along with trains all night long every hour along with poor directions how to get to the dock made it a poor experience. If you are a light sleeper you will be up all train long 🤨
Wonderful location and facilities. Helpful staff
Clean facilities and very well maintained. Great dock staff and very helpful. We would recommend it and plan to stay again this fall.
Slips are not well signed. Short narrow, finger piers on old, non floating docks makes for sketchy on and off the boat. We were assigned a slip that was too narrow and ran aground entering the slip (we draw 5'4") despite that they had asked our beam and draft upon reservation. Dock hands shrugged.
Staff and facilities are great. They were extremely helpful with problems that I had.
Excellent marina, amenities and friendly staff! Highly recommended.
Nice marina although depth on inside slips a bit skinny. Dockmaster very helpful.
Convenient location, good docks, well protected, great service, nice bar/restaurant on premises.
