Nice and quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful family run boatyard with great views of Newport harbor. Go to spot when in the area!
Current in outer moorings results in mooring ball banging against hull. Neighboring marinas did not look to have this issue.
Launch guy was great. Bathroom and shower were a little dated.
Enjoyed our stay. Justin and Alex the launch drivers were very helpful! Justen especially as I got stuck in the lazzerette and couldn’t get out without his help.
Great location, super helpful staff, great service
Quiet, “Old Style” boat yard, directly across from the bustle of Newport. Exposed in a Nortb breeze, and some boat wakes. Amenities minimal, but not too far from town.
Basic facility. Very good people who were very good at meeting our boating needs. Harbor is choppy with NE winds.
The launch driver was very friendly and very accommodating. The location was very nice, but with a strong SW wind and opposite direction tide, the mooring kept bumping the boat all night.
This is not our first stay at The Clark Boat Yard. The company run by the family and all people there are very helpful and friendly. The location and views are perfect,
Very nice spot with very friendly people.
Super friendly and helpful launch drivers. Nice family run yard
Nice location and convenient launch service but significant turbulence from normal tide and waves as well as boat traffic.
CBY is a quaint, family owned and operated boat yard in an idyllic setting. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A rare experience.
Clark Boat yard is my new favorite spot in Jamestown. Friendly staff, calm, quiet harbor, price makes a huge difference, we will be back!
Launch drivers were extremely attentive and helpful. Mooring field can get rough and uncomfortable when there is a SE wind and outgoing current swirling. Should be much better with SW breeze.
Great yard and staff. Ed the launch driver was super accommodating and very pleasant!
Ed was so helpful and courteous. Very quiet spot to moor.
Beautiful spot across from Newport. Newport skyline and Jamestown bridge lit up like a Christmas tree. Bathrooms and shower are rustic but charming. Walk to town.
Our boats awlgrip paint was damaged by their mooring equipment. Owners of the yard have not answered my email complaint which provided detailed photos and description of the incident. Please contact me regarding this issue. M Myette
Clarks has become my go to stop in the Newport area. The mooring is sheltered and the price is right. Staff are always helpful in person or on the radio.
The best places on Conanicut. The only locally owned place left. Sandwiches between Sage Harbor’s Jamestown Boat Yard and the shit show the Toilet Paper Group has made of Conanicut Marina is this gem of a boat yard with moorings. The launch is run by pleasant and competent operators (occasionally even Clarks). The facilities are minimal yet adequate and well maintained. The location is incredible. If you cannot get in here, try Safe Harbor JBY. The Toilet Paper Group is best avoided.
Affordable and convenient location for an overnight near Newport. We moored here on our trip south and appreciated the launch service so we could explore Jamestown, which would have been a long trip for our dinghy.
Great place. Friendly and kind. Prompt launch service. Classic boat yard, family owned and they treat you like family.
Friendly, efficient good moorings and launch. Not a lot of amenities. We will be back.
Nice location, friendly staff and a classic boat yard. Some rolling from the river. About a mile walk into town but pleasant.
Excellent marina. Very friendly with good accommodations. Spectacular views
Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
My wife and I enjoyed our overnite at Clark's. The launch operators and the entire Clark staff were amazing. We are looking forward to our next stay.
Clark Boat Yard is family owned. The location provides the most beautiful views on the island! Customer service is outstanding.
A gem in Narragansett Bay. I’ve rented a mooring here several times when busy Newport Harbor can’t accommodate and I’ve loved it every time. Beautiful views of Newport, Clingstone house on the rock and the east passage. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. If I could add a 6th star I would!!
Charmed! Original, family operated, low-key vibe. Sweeping views of lower Narragansett Bay, nice and helpful staff, and quiet beach. A little rolly during a north breeze, but otherwise well protected from the usual southwest conditions.
Friendly and helpful staff, Jamestown is a great destination, however, the Anchorage is quite exposed to the traffic and currents, which make it a "rolly" stay on board.
The Mooring field is in a terrible location, especially when there is a South East Wind. We left immediately in our 43’ Trawler.
we had a very nice stay as usual. CBY staff are friendly and always eager to help. One of our new favorite locations.
place was great people were very nice and quick
We tried to stop here every year around the 4th of July and we are never disappointed. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The yard is very low key and not in the center of town, but the walk is welcome after being on a sailboat for days! Given its scale, there is only one shower and one head so if they are very busy you might have to get in line. But the wait is usually in a shady spot with a nice breeze and a chance to read or catch up on emails.
Great views to Newport. Always a pleasure staying here. Recommended
Great mooring, plenty of swing for a beamy catamaran. Great service too, launch picked up and dropped off friends. Very nice people, definitely recommend instead of Newport's busy harbor.
Project management, budget management, communications with me and the results of workmanship to help restore my Midnight Lace were superb. They greatly exceeded my expectations.
