My wife and I have been visiting this beautiful spot for many years. Very friendly people and well run working yard. The view of fishers island sound is just beautiful. Family owned and operated and it shows in how neat and clean everything is. Believe 2022 is their 50th anniversary....wish them well.
Had great time nice location and close to Fords lobster. Staff friendly Only issue I had was 50 aml dock connection so switched to 30 amp
Greg runs the launch and could not have been more helpful. He directed us to the village. Just a 5 minute walk to Carson’s for a late lunch. Grocery store a few steps away for supplies. It is just a dinghy ride to Mystic. We will return!
Super accommodating staff. Quiet and protected docks and moorings. Great water pressure at end of dock. Close to fun restaurants and some provisioning.
I was on a mooring for a night and on arrival the launch operator greeted me immediately and escorted me to the mooring. Later, he picked us up for a ride in and even stayed slightly after hours when dinner ran late to ensure we made it back to our boat. Great service!
Old school small family business. Very clean head/showers. Friendly, and helpful. Less than half a mile from Ford’s Lobster making it an easy walk. Using the dingy made the other Lobster place, Abbots, just as easy to get to though. Carson’s has great cornbeef hash for Breakfast! Wish I had declared my draft a bit deeper ‘cause it was close getting away from our mooring the day we left, but we’ll definitely come again.
Beautiful location and a great team
Very nice, staff was great, very clean, Sue & Crystal in office are exceptional, Ethen yard manager was helpful to arrange for some service we needed on our MV.
What a great marina. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great location.
Very nice people. Clean well kept yard with courteous staff. Nice clean guest bathroom and shower facilities. Noank is a delightful small town with a charming little village. This was our first time here and we will be back!
Great marina! Nice people!
good location, clean facilities
Small marina, home to deluxe sailboats and powerboats. About 1 mile inland from mouth of Mystic River. Abbots Lobster, Fords Lobster, Carson’s for breakfast and lunch all less than a 1/2 mile walk in a quaint 19th century Connecticut village.
Excellent staff! They were there to help us and she did a great job. I called her six penny thinking that was her name. I don’t remember her real name but she was great!’
Michael, on the launch, did a stellar job of guiding us to the mooring and welcoming us to Noank. We will be back!
Our homeport is 100 miles west. We always return to the Noank / Fishers Island area each year; sail for 3-4 days, then go back home by train for a short work week. This was our second consecutive short week stay at Noank Village Marina. We came back because everything is done to a high standard. Even the bluestone parking area is so clean and neat. Large wide floating docks. Smart launch operators. Leave your dinghy tied to dock or standing in a rack. All staff were very helpful. Impeccable facilities. Well worth motoring the extra 1/4 mile up the Mystic River. And a short walk to Carson's.
Great Moorning - Good Location - Nice People
Very welcoming staff. Lots of flower arrangements, Adirondack chairs and very clean facilities; bathrooms, showers, laundry, etc....Serene setting in the village of Noank nestled at a bend in the channel to Mystic by the train tracks and an entrance to a great pond. Very short, quaint walk to the village with a small cafe, a few shops, and a some lobster shacks along the river.
I would rate this marina 4.5 stars.Marina is clean and neat as a pin. The annuals planted throughout are beautiful. Noank is a lovely sleepy New England town with most houses having their original dates posted. Easy walk to the famous and delicious Ford's Lobster. It is a lovely change from busy bustling Mystic. Recommend highly.
Friendly, helpful, well looked after peaceful place, in easy reach of Mystic, its even walkable, happily spend more time here!
The only reason I gave this 4 stars was their hours of operation. If you arrive late everything closes early so no launch, ice, laundry, etc. The showers remained open. Nice calm harbor and a nice dinghy ride up to Mystic. Noank seems to still be feeling the effects of COVID so most everything is closed or closes early.
Boatyard extremely well maintained. Staff very helpful. Restrooms clean. Would definitely stay at Boatyard when ever going to Noank.
Overnighted at the Noank Village boatyard. Everything was set up and ready for us as we came in after hours. Sue Bellgardt, the office manager of the Boatyard was a good communicator prior to and after our arrival and departure. Would stay there again.
Welcoming. Good showers. Busy river. Only a few moorings for vessels over 35 ft however, and we were fortunate to get one.
This yard is very accommodating, and has the most friendly staff. We’ve been here before, and will certainly return. The facilities are fairly new and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.
Very nice and friendly
We stayed one night. It was quiet and calm. Noank is a cute town with a couple of great restaurants within walking distance. The Marina has great facilities, and everything was super clean!
Very friendly and nice facilities. Walkable restaurants nearby.
Nice mooring field with views of Mystic River channel and Fishers Island Sound. Launch service, showers, laundry, walk to local cafes. Quiet and laid back atmosphere.
If you ever get tired of being nickel and dimed in a dusty no service boat yard with full dumpsters at the ends of the dock and raw sewage in the water, give up on Noank Village and try something else. Spent seven wasted years there. Very limited service from staff, double price haul out for storms
