Gustavia Port Marina

We had a good experience on-shore but the marina staff were so incredibly rude and derogatory we will never return to this port. It seems like the harbor master (Jacques Greaux) doesn't want visitors, and would rather drive them away with insults and derogatory comments. It didn't matter whether we spoke in French or English, he ignored our questions and joked about us with his junior staff. This is more like a highschool playground than a professional port office. I was wondering what we'd done to offend them, then watched as one of the staff on the VHF got frustrated with the yacht he was talking to and threw his mic across his desk and dropped the conversation. I guess it wasn't just us, they just don't like their clientele much.
