Palm Cay Marina

We have stayed many times at Palm Cay Marina and have had the best experience every time. From the dock staff to the ladies in the office, everyone was super helpful and took care of our every need. The staff was always eager and willing to help with dock space, tie ups, fueling and anything else we needed help with. The Katlo Crew can't thank y'all enough for such a great season! We really appreciate our time on the dock and know when we return to Nassau we will definitely come "home" to Palm Cay Marina. Thank you to Mary, Justin, Jarrett, Marino, Charlotte, David, Brittani, and Makeeda for helping make our time there so wonderful!

There was no dock hand to help tying up. Nice facility but we were unable take advantage as the rain started shortly after we arrived. Leaving the following morning was almost a disaster. They string a line across the entrance of the marina! I planned to leave early (6am) and lucky that I saw the line. I finally was able to leave just before 7.

10 stars. Crew are great. Friendly and prompt to help or assist. Loaner car a hit which we used twice. Restaurant was great. All the facilities very good. We have stayed here before and it keeps getting better each time!

Palm Cay staff is literally off the hook. I’m sorry to use a silly phrase but the people who run this marina and take care of the transients such as myself are amazing! Kind, thoughtful, and helpful beyond. I will always stop here when I need to fuel up, provision or just say hi! Thank you all!! A special thank you to the Marina office staff! Makeeda, David, Brittany! Justin runs a tight ship and Jarrett make it all work. Personable, thoughtful, smart and funny. Just a pleasure! Bountiful will be back!!

This marina gets 5 stars from me. Not because the facilities were perfect as the marina was dealing with some bothersome issues that were mostly beyond their control. They get 5 stars because of how the employees and Mary (marina manager) went out of their way to mitigate these issues. BTW, the two main issues (water pressure and laundry facilities) have been upgraded in just the last week and we look forward to staying with them again next year.

Great stay at Palm Cay Marina. Staff friendly & professional, food very good, drinks good but a little pricey. Only room for improvement is replacing the laundry equipment. The appliances have seen better days. We will be back.

It was ok. Safe. We enjoyed being able to borrow a marina car for $11 an hour. We went down to Twin Brothers for conch salad, conch fritters etc. Provisioned at Solomon’s. Be advised of a few things. The gym is decent. If you are docked on a T head there is a chance your Starlink will be blocked by the tall buildings there. The marina WiFi is not working well these days. There is good WiFi in the cafe. The spa is not where the maps have it located. Ask at the Welcome Center and they can direct you. The restaurant is meh. Cute name though and they should sell merch. Beach Club area is nice. Dockhands are good. There is a ton of movement of the charter boats coming in on Saturday morning so timing leaving the marina has to wait to close to or past check out time. The fairways aren’t wide enough for 2 catamarans to pass each other. I would come back but for the dockage fees, I would really expect the marina WiFi to be excellent. It is an expensive marina.

Marina staff and dock hands were very helpful. The marina entrance is tricky. While there we saw an Aquilla go slightly out of the channel to keep from hitting an outgoing boat and it was grounded on hard rock. Big damage to the boat, so be careful! The rental car for $11/hour is awesome, but it stays book. The marina called a cab and it was $120 for a round trip that took less than an hour. It was expensive at $300/night, but everything seems expensive in the Bahamas.

Great marina and resort. Docks were in good shape. Clean modern bathrooms. Restaurant and pool were very nice! A bit pricey and water pressure was extremely low. Courtesy car helped out a lot!

So much more than other marinas. Perfect perfect location, super staff, well kept docks, outstanding cafe, professional fuel dock, beach bar and restaurant (peach and feta pizza), gym, racket courts, professional security, leaving is the toughest decision.

Everything and everyone was wonderful!

This is a fantastic marina and location. The staff are very responsive and helpful. We had some problems with our chart plotter and they had someone well versed in our equipment. The resort has multiple pools, streets to walk around, groceries nearby and beaches. We will be back again next winter!!

Our stay at Palm cay Marina was very pleasant. The team there does a terrific job, the place is calm and the access to the Beach Club, beach and pools is a very nice feature. They have cars available for a very decent price so it's easy to go grocery shopping. We will definitely go back there on our next trip to the Bahamas!

We had a great stay at the marina. Patrick met us as we entered the harbour, directed us to our slip, and assisted with lines. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Will happily return!

Having first visited Palm cay in 2014, I have found myself returning every year after having countless enjoyable stays at what I would describe as my favourite place to stay in Nassau. The idyllic marina blends culture and contemporary as the development boasts luxury modern purpose-built facilities. This is without question my favourite place to stay in the Bahamas and I look forward to visiting again very soon.

What a beautiful place to visit! I’ve been coming to Palm Cay for several years now - the Marina is peaceful and has great amenities on offer. The beach club is a particular highlight. The staff and team are very friendly, and always there to make your stay extra special. I would highly recommend visiting Palm Cay, it is a hidden gem in the Bahamas!

We had a fantastic experience at Palm Cay! From the moment we pulled up to the fuel dock, the staff was incredibly helpful and professional. Deckhands were excellent, assisting us with lines and guiding us to our slip. The restrooms and laundry facilities were spotless, and the transient slips were easy to navigate. The location is perfect but there is no need to leave what with the restaurant/ beach/ gym. A highlight was having a car to use to head to the nearby shops for provisions. We highly recommend this marina to anyone cruising the area and look forward to our next visit!

I first visited Palm Cay Marina in 2018 and have come back multiple times per year ever since. The team is consistently helpful, the docks are well kept, and the entrance is well marked and easy to navigate even at low tide. It’s become my reliable base in Nassau for Exuma runs.

An excellent marina with everything you could need! The location in the south east of Nassau is perfect for exploring Rose Island and the Exumas. The dock staff were efficient and helpful with docking our boat, and we appreciated the easy access to fuel, water, and electricity. It's a secure and clean environment with all the necessary services- the beach club was a plus and included in the rate!

Five stars, no hesitation. Palm Cay’s marina is tidy, calm, and brilliantly run. The management were genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful throughout my stay, and Blake and Jak looked after me superbly. Proper service, no fuss — just how it should be.

We absolutely loved the Palm Cay Marina. From our arrival at the dock to enjoying the fabulous amenities we couldn't have been happier. Staff were respectful and polite everywhere. The beach is fabulous. We will be back.

We’ve stayed at Palm Cay Marina a few times in 2023, and were so happy to return again yesterday and see how much this place continues to improve. The marina keeps getting better every time, many of the facilities are brand new, the pool area and beach with lounge chairs are absolutely beautiful, and everything is spotless and well maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. A special thank you to Mary, who greeted us with a big smile and even offered us a ride to the grocery store, such genuine hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. Palm Cay has become one of our favorite marinas in the Bahamas, and we highly recommend it to anyone cruising through Nassau. We’ll definitely be back again!

Friendly, helpful staff

The staff is always exceptional. Mary is always so helpful and welcoming. Safe area and very clean and pristine. Great place to stop on your way through the islands for safe keeping of your boat. The beach club is also very relaxing for a rest off the seas. Pink octopus restaurant is delicious and great service. We will stay here from now on! Looking forward to it again.

Our stay at the Palm Cay Marina was good. Booking through Dockwa enabled us to use Palm Cay's nice amenities, at no added cost. The surrounding senary is beautiful and a staff that is willing to help out when needed. Fuel prices ($5.40 per gallon) was the least expensive in the Bahamas. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is because of the lack of water pressure when trying to clean our boat and the flimsy ladder to climb in and out of our boat. Strongly recommended and we will defiantly be back!

Love Palm Cay. Pool, beach, bar & restaurant are awesome. Dockmasters were on top of things on arrival. Would be a 5 star, except departure morning they started fueling one of the boats in our group - internet went down. Completed fueling - but no way to pay since internet was down. Basically "held in place" - you can't leave until internet is up. "Someone is coming to fix it". At some point it was fixed and we moved on. Would think with todays communication options they would have back-up plan in place for internet outage to accept fuel payments. Otherwise a great overnight. ***We draw 5.5, we saw less than a foot beneath us at low time at two points in the channel****

Marina has potential to be very good but misses the mark. Docks are fixed and 40’ long with 45’ boats protruding into the fairway which appears to be 60’ .That leaves 55’ to maneuver. OK if you have thrusters on a 45’ boat but not enough for a non thruster equipped trawler in a fresh breeze. Also advertised 2 courtesy cars but both were apparently inop when we were there. Pools were dirty, one had broken glass on the patio. But by Bahama standards it is above average.

1 night stay and fuel. friendly people, good service, very good restaurant.

No hot water in women’s showers. Beach area is beautiful. Pools could be heated.

We stayed 2 nights in the marina and used the facilities including the Beach Club. From the time we entered the marina, we had great service at the fuel dock and assistance getting into our slip. Everything was well maintained and checking in with Customs/Immigration was a breeze. Plus, a special shout out to Damorrow, who was always there to assist with a smile and a positive attitude. We will visit again.

Very nice Marina and great staff.

We spent a full week at this beautiful marina and resort and enjoyed every minute. We originally were going to stay 3 nights, but with some high winds coming we stayed for 7 nights. Very protected marina with resort amenities included. Beautiful beach club, pool, beach bar and restaurant, coffee bar etc. and the staff everywhere here were fantastic! We had such a good time!

The Marina is Great! The staff and fellow boaters are fantastic. Everyone is willing to share local knowledge and go out of their way to make our experiences phenomenal.

Nice Marina appearance, but very narrow for Monohull without bow- thruster. Requested assistance via mobile for a tug Dinghi was not fulfilled. When leaving the marina the assistance requested were really incompetent and not requesting would have even limited more any risk than their „support“. Friendlyness is also no strength of staff! For the price payed I expect a much better service! Positive is the availability of courtesy cars for shopping and obviously security in the marina!

The common facilities are pretty nice. The laundry facility was dirty and partially out of order. We were also quoted a price on the phone that matched the initial Dockwa quoted amount. However on the day of arrival the price was increased by about 30%. We didn’t argue since our stay was short. The water pressure on the dock was so poor that our collapsible hose couldn’t pass any meaningful water and we had to borrow a standard garden hose from another boat. The dock hands were very helpful and the office staff polite. The maneuvering is very tight but we always saw 8 foot of water even at low tide. This facility feels very safe with plenty of activity and good proximity to a nice grocery store.

Excellent, great service, amazing people...Can't way to go back

We stayed at Palm Cay Marina two weeks ago and our credit cards got hacked in the restaurant. We let them know and this time when we ate in the restaurant they changed their system.. .so that’s a star. Unfortunately, they set us up with a cab to the airport and he tried to double charge us. Should be $75-$85 per trip, not per person. Other than that, we like the property and the location as far as heading out to the Exumas.

They over charged for electric. We we docked 15 hours they charged over 100 $

I like the marina and I would like to reserve for the 25 th and 26 th of June on the same marina on a T doc

Marina staff were professional and attentive. T-berths have exterior pilings with effective attached fenders for unpainted aluminum rub rail and topsides, so fender board was unnecessary. Approach channel dogleg can be a tricky maneuver and turning inside basin is tight but not impossible for a 65' single screw monohull with thruster.

The marina is fantastic with excellent facilities. The entire staff (Especially Sizzler) were fantastic. The Cafe and Pink Octopus had excellent food and also GREAT service. Highly recommend this spot for provisioning, picking up passengers or repute from crossing.

Docks (fixed) are in very good shape & facilities are well-maintained. The amenities included with our slip fees were numerous & exceeded our expectations. Dockside Cafe & small grocery store were very convenient; clean & functional laundry facilities; courtesy car & onsite rental car services; beach club access; gym; 24hr security; 2 large pools; great food/drinks at onsite restaurant & pool bar. The staff at Palm Cay are truly happy to be there & take pride in providing excellent customer service. Thanks again!

Great spot, wonderful amenities, friendly staff. I can appreciate the safety here, but dropping a star because they lock the marina's main channel with a big chain that spans the whole channel. Theu keep it chained up until 8am, which is a bit ridiculous. We lost 2 hours from first light and had to change our schedule because we were locked in.

Nice Marina with good facilities POSITIVE: Docks in good condition, pool nice, tiki Bar and Restaurant a little pricey and we ordered a melon salad starter and a pizza….the pizza arrived 20 mins before salad. Food was good and I appreciate that server was new but I believe this was a kitchen/ planning error. Staff were friendly and helpful. NEGATIVE: Very busy with charter boats. We were next to fuel dock and they crammed a lot of boats on. Narrow channel in was always busy with boats coming and going, especially weekends. Expensive. We felt a car was necessary as there is not a lot around the area.

Palm Cay is our favorite marina to stay in in the Bahamas. The fuel and water are clean, the facilities are in good condition and the staff is very friendly and helpful, The only complaint is that there are no dock carts. When we stop there to replenish our boats for weeks of cruising, we really need a cart to get tons of groceries from the courtesy car to the t-head. Love all the amenities that come as a part of the slip fee - beach club, pool and much more.

The staff was helpful and great to have helping us. Restaurant was amazing and pools were cool and refreshing. The little lagoon was also calm and fun to play in. We will absolutely be going back. They had loaner vehicles that made getting groceries and other items very easy.
