Manitowoc Marina

This review is for yard services. Hold onto your wallet. This place charges $140/hr for everything. Sanding, painting, scraping, plumbing, AC, electrical it doesn't matter. Its all the same high price. I'll pay high prices for premium service, but this isn't it. Look around, other yards charge less for labor that's not highly skilled. We had a bottom job done that was months late and very expensive. Once your boat is on the hard, you are a captive purchaser. Stay away.

We recently purchased an Axopar 28 aft cabin from Manitowoc Marina, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Brad Eckhardt, the sales manager, and Connor Kepchar, the aftersales manager, were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire process. They worked closely with us to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted, and they delivered the boat to us on time. We had a lot of additional electronics and customizations added to our boat, and the service techs did an excellent job with the installations. Connor even took the time to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the final result, which we really appreciated. Overall, we would highly recommend Manitowoc Marina to anyone in the market for a new boat. Brad and Connor were professional, knowledgeable, and committed to making sure that we had a positive experience. We are thrilled with our new Axopar 28 and look forward to many happy years of boating.

This is the first time I stayed here, but I know Manitowoc well. First they are super friendly, Mary, Chris and Rich and the dock hands. Super clean. They tackled the spiders very well this season. Easy in and out and wide fairways. We walked to some live music and had a nice diner. They really have a nice ships store with quality clothing and shoes.

I needed a late season haulout to have some keel repairs done. The service department at Manitowoc Marina was both knowledgable and hospitable. The work they do is first class.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. We were only there for one night, but it was enjoyable. The downtown area to shop and eat is a decent walk (but we had bikes). Overall it was great.

Bathrooms can be a far walk depending on what dock you are on, but they are exceptionally clean. The town is great for eating and pub crawling.

We couldn’t be happier with the awesome staff- Mary and the dock hands make you feel special! Clean restrooms and facilities! Can’t go wrong at this Marina!

Solid marina with very friendly and helpful staff. The ship store is well stocked and the town is a short walk away.

Friendly people, nice facilities. Great atmosphere. Shopping is within a mile. We are going back next season.

Really enjoyed this marina. Great staff that was all to happy to help me with a variety of tasks that could have otherwise been a hassle. Mary is a great friendly face upon arrival. Convenient to downtown and most points of interest.

Beautiful site, Wi-Fi was good, no CATV services, but antenna TV was OK. Enjoyed the Maritime Museum and the Court House Pub nearby.

The facilities were very nice and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The online reservation system was easy and successful for us. Did not get a key for the bathrooms and showers when arrived at office. I should have asked for them.

Very modern, easy to locate your slip, close to dinning. Folks on the dock were ready to help catch a line and just make docking less stressful. Marina has a pretty well stocked marine store. We will go back.
