Belle Bluff was a perfect place to wait out some bad weather! The new aluminum floating dock was in great shape, the other boaters were friendly, and Ronald went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Follow Ronald's map and come in on a rising tide. We have a 4' draft and struggled a bit at low tide.
Best hole in the wall of Georgia. Quiet and peaceful during the working week but full of campers and friendly people during your favorite holiday. No pump out or liveaboard due to Georgia's crazy laws but that is not the fault of the Marina. Does not have access to a store so come prepared and/or have transportation lined up before you get here. Ron, the owner, is a laid-back individual who will meet you at the dock to help tie you up and will do everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one.
If you’re like us, sometimes you just want to get off the beaten track. We found this wonderful hidden gem with a practically new aluminum floating dock. It’s a nice laid back marina where it’s easy to relax and enjoy the wonderful views of huge Oaks strewn with moss and the expansive marshlands. We let the dogs off leash to run among the trees without concern. Ronald the owner was friendly and accommodating. We used our generator for power. The bathrooms are rustic but we prefer to use our own anyway. We needed a rest and Belle Bluff was was the perfect place.
This dock was about 10 minutes up Blackbeard Creek. We spoke to Ronald on the way in and he assisted us in navigating the twists and turns. He was very friendly. This dock did not have power or water (we knew that going in). The bathrooms and showers were acceptable.
