I stored my boat here for a few months this summer (2026). The good: Location and amenities are great. Most all of the staff is super helpful. The app for scheduling launch & return was very convenient. I found the cost/value reasonable. The bad: Staff accidentally launched my sea pro 239 without the plug in. Stuff happens, I get it. Water filled the bilge up to the underside of the deck submerging all 5 batteries, on board charger, hydraulic steering, wiring, etc. Literally never responded to an email (5) or call. I got the impression that the manager, who was super cool, wanted to help, but was limited or otherwise silenced by crappy ownership. Ended up leaving the marina, filing a $11k claim with my insurance company for repairs. Haven’t heard a word to this day, several months later. More bad: I don’t live in the neighborhood or have a sticker for my car. There doesn’t seem to be any official agreement or training for Waterways Township security; about half the time it was an argument at the gate as to whether or not I was allowed inside to go to the marina. Same for my guests. Supposedly all county residents are permitted to use the marina, but in practice I found that to be inaccurate. I believe security purposely hassles non-waterways residents into not accessing this Bryan County marina. Unless you’re a resident of Waterways Township and are willing to closely manage the handling of your vessel, I would stick with Fort McAllister or Kilkenny Marinas and save yourself some heartburn.

The hours suck. The gas was cheaper than the gas station when I first joined but that didn’t last long. And found chunks missing from the gel coat from my brand new boat. Had to have been dropped or when setting in slip. The only good thing I can say about this place is the manager chief.
