About

Barden’s Boat Yard does sell gas and diesel, but we do not have a traditional ‘gas dock’. Our staff is on duty daily during the week and weekend mornings. Because the dock to access the fuel is also a working dock, we have to coordinate when a boat needs to come in for gas or fuel. Simply contact the office prior to arriving by boat to arrange for fuel. Valet Service is available for fueling, too.

Barden’s Boat Yard offers a public launch service for Marion’s Inner Harbor. Launch service is included with our mooring rentals, but for those who don’t need a mooring, our launch service is available for you either by purchasing a seasonal pass for unlimited rides to and from your boat for the entire summer, or on pay per trip.

After buying our dream boat nearby in Mattapoisett, we relocated it to Barden's for a hull in Oct '25 out as part of our initial survey and kept the boat out for the winter. From our initial contact with the team there, through winterizing, de-winterizing, repainting of the hull, replacing zincs, fueling, filling up water tanks and our rushed departure April 1st '26, they have beyond impressed us. As relatively newer "captains" we never felt judged or that our questions/requests were a bother. Their work was high quality, efficient and thorough. Most of all they were accommodating! They seamlessly worked with our hired electrician, nameplate technicians and dinghy representatives who needed access to our boat during her time there. We can't speak highly enough of Cheryl in the office in particular.

We have been customers of Barden’s Boatyard since 1989 and they have provided us with excellent support and service for all of our boats. We considered the entire crew to be extended family. We live in NH and have other options that are closer to us, BUT no one can gives us the peace of mind that Barden’s gives us. We highly recommend Barden’s Boat yard!
