Easy entrance. Northern part for ferries and fishing boats; southern section for pleasure boats has box moorings with posts. Diesel fuel from fishing quay (awkward with black tyres, but tolerable). No Calor gas. Water and electric power included in mooring fee. Toilet block is clean though Spartan; no charge for showers (access by VingCard in 2013 from helpful harbour and info office or cheerful ladies running excellent kiosk in front of the pontoons. Easy 25 minute access from Kiel HBH by Schnellbus 102 stopping 50m from harbour. Excellent SKY supermarket 5 mins walk. Lots of restaurants as town is popular with holidaymakers. Luxurious Baltic Bay Marina with berthing pontoons is just south of the Fischenhafen.
