Oban Marina is perfectly situated at the gateway to the western isles on the picturesque isle of Kerrera, west coast of Scotland. In sight of the town of Oban, it is a well serviced and popular marina offering Fuel Diesel is now available. The pump is situated at the end of B Pontoon. Wi-Fi Available free of charge. Electricity cards can be obtained from Reception. The marina has water available from a natural spring on the island. Chandlery a limited supply of chandlery is available in our small shop. Entry to Oban Bay Northern Lighthouse Board has produced a code of practice for users of Oban Bay which you should be familiar with before arrival. You can view and download it here: Code of Practice for Oban Bay, North Channel & Sound of Kerrera. There is a speed limit of 5 knots in Oban Bay and 7 knots in Kerrera Sound (except in an emergency). Within Oban Bay be aware of the following hazards: North side: Corran Ledge is indicated by a (flashing) West Cardinal mark. South side: (flashing) North & South Cardinals indicate the location of Sgeir Rathaid Bank which dries at extreme low water. Ardentrive Bay: off Oban Marina, on the Isle of Kerrera, there is a wreck at the most southerly point at Mount Pleasant. The wreck is visible at most states of tide and is marked by an unlit post off its northerly point. Further information on the bay is available at http://www.obanharbour.scot Please note that this website is also a reporting page for all incidents and near misses in the bay. We encourage that all incidents (i.e. near collisions, too much wash, machinery failure or a grounding) should be reported on this site.

A very pleasant stay in Oban marina this summer. The staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent restaurant & bar with easy access to pontoon berths and fuel berth. Top marks Phil M
