Bequia Marina is now open and also under renovation. We will soon be offering full yacht refinishing and haul-out services, coming early summer. Please inquire if you'd like any work to be done or to come in for an estimate - we'd love to discuss! We will be able to Haul out up to about 55ft long and/or 13tons, and will be able to accept catamarans. We will offer services such as, power-washing, cleaning, polishing, bottom paint, hull painting, gelcoat, awl-grip, fiberglass repair work, and more. Also we will have a heavy focus on wood restoration including varnish and oil for exterior/interior jobs on your boat from a single spruce up and topcoat to a full strip job to bare wood. We can refinish your brand new yacht or your priceless antique. Our local group and entity, now named Bequia Coast 2 Coast Yacht Services, born out of Bequia, now has over 30 years of experience in Newport, Rhode Island, USA executing a full array of refinishing work at the highest quality level with quick turnarounds for Hinckley Yachts as well as other groups including many private jobs of all sizes and shapes. We will be bringing the years of experience back to SVG to help teach and provide these services in this beautiful location rich in its boatbuilding and refinishing history. We plan to reestablish the trade and boost the community by adding new jobs, higher pay, and skills training. Our group is excited to announce the beginning of a trade school where we will be starting out by teaching children at risk in cooperation with non-profit groups, and growing into a full trade school with goals of becoming accredited in order to coordinate with local technical/vocational schools.
