Very Good stay. Amaizing food at restaurant but have to work with the services too slow and forget some of the beverage and food orders, even when the rest not was full. In general, we come back on the future.

Was expensive to begin with. Then charged us for power that no other marina did. We would have ran the generator for the 80 dollars they charged. Facility is nice and staff was friendly

Scrub Island is one of our favorite stops in the BVI. The property is awesome, people are friendly and the amenities are spot on. We always make a point of getting spa treatments, hang at the pool and this time ate dinner. The meal was amazing, the staff attentive and the chef even came to our table at the end of the evening to make sure they have exceeded our expectations. Love that extra special treatment. As we charter a boat this is also a good stopping point to replenish, take a real shower, and generally break up the trip. So glad we found this place years ago. A must stop location!

All good except: 2 of your 4 showers weren’t working. And frankly, for charging 6 times more than VGYH and 4 times Bitter End, I didn’t see the added value. That said, your staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful.

A beautiful setting and an impressive resort that owns most everything you can see there. Wonderful setting for the restaurant, but the food and service not so much. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the Dockmaster, Mello, but facilities are showing their age. Overall, worth a stay.

This resort is very nice. We got a slip for two nights because of bad weather. Our sailboat is small (38’) and it was still quite rough in the slip. The dock staff were really great and we enjoyed the restaurants.

Always great to dock at Scrub. Keido the Dock Manager is THE best! Very good at communicating and directing and delivers top notch customer service with a big smile!

Esperamos frente a la marina 1.5 horas para que nos dieran el muelle. Poco personal y desorganizado. Cuando llegamos al área de la piscina solo le quedaba 1 toalla. En la barra de arriba ya no estaban haciendo bushwacker y tenían problemas con la impresora si pagabas con tarjeta. El braker del poste de luz se tumbaba a cada rato.

Good infrastructure restaurants were also pretty good and the service all around including Marina staff and concierge was excellent. Did not give it five star only because of something out of their control which is the Marina slips get quite a bit of surge on the tide changes enough to a mono hull powerboat pretty aggressively

Scrub Island is a spectacular stop in the BVI.

The resort itself on this beautiful island and the staff at the hotels/restaurants were very welcoming and were willing to help make your stay as good as possible. The marina dockhands were not as trained as I had anticipated, but they were adequate. The VHF was very garbled upon arrival and the announcement of the slip and docking instructions were very difficult to understand. The underwater lights at the marina were definitely a plus to the night ambience.

There was excellent dock service and utilities were handy and resort activities and services available are above the cut. Boaters pay more than usual but certainly get more than usual. Compliments to the friendly marina en resort staff.

The marina was beautiful. The price for the night is expensive at almost $400. Dock,power and taxes. We were allowed to use the amenities which were nice but the bartenders at the pool bars were not overly friendly. The bathroom next to the pool was really dirty which was also for the restaurant. There is a 20% service charge for all food and drinks which motivates the staff to do nothing since their tip is built in. There are no towels at the marina showers which are also very dirty. The bright side of our stay was Keto who helped us into the marina and genuinely cared we were all set for the night. Unfortunately I don't think we will go back which was the consensus of everyone at the pool bar.

Great stay with plenty of activities for my 5 year old grandson. Easy in and out with dock hands assisting all the way.

Absolutely great resort with awesome staff. Food was fantastic along with the swim up bar. Special thanks to the Dock Master that helped us in. We will be back.

Friendly staff. General Manager was very proactive by checking with guest. Boat ride to Trellis was a good service. Loved toe pool and jacuzzi.

I would have given Scrub Island a 5 star rating as it's an excellent facility extremely well located. The issue is their pricing and extra, undisclosed fees and checkout time.. They say the cost of moorage is between $2 and $375 per foot, per night. Its reasonable to assume that $375 is a typo as I can't image anyone on a 50 ft boat agreeing to pay $18,750 per night. So it should be between $2 and $3.75. In fact I was charged $5, much higher than the posted rate. The other rub is a "resort" fee and "service charge", which are not disclosed but charged anyway. Last, the Dockwa app says checkout is noon, but when I went to reception to confirm I was leaving by then I was told it was actually 11 am. Again, great facility but poor communications.

Scrub Island marina- a joy! This resort and marina was easy to dock, fun to shop in the boutiques, amazing to be able to grab an egg sandwich and iced coffee in the morning, lunch poolside and a trip over the hill to a sandy beach bar in the afternoon. The kids were able to choose a huge trampoline, snorkel and the pool with side was a game changer for us. Dinner at marina cay for relaxed beach vibe, Cardamum for fine dining or Donovan’s reef for an evening poolside light show built into the waterfall framing the view of evening sky, megayacht and the mast lights of sailboats in the mooring field sparkling under the stars,. Marina cay restaurant was a quick ferry ride with live entertainment at dinner, delicious cuisine and a quick walk along the beach after dinner.Scrub is classy, delightful luxury stop along the Sir Francis Drake!

Dinner was very good upstairs - we absolutely adored Cynthia , friendliest employee in all of BVI - Resort was nice , the pool really needed some extra TLC bc there was group of 20 just sitting & sitting in the pool , and they ate their nachos inside the hot tub, so gross . By the time I was able to enjoy the pool , I had to step over pieces of pineapple / oranges .. I did tell a few employees that the pool needed attention & more chlorine but nobody took me seriously. For the price , I would choose oil nut over and over again but overall it was very nice !

Fantastic stop in the middle of our charter. Staff was fantastic and the Marina is top-notch.

Very friendly staff. Accommodations and amenities were great. The pig roast was fun and food was delicious.

Love Scrub. Staff and facilities are great. Just please make sure to check when dockage is already paid on the reservation through Dockwa, before charging again when the guest checks in. Thanks

Nice place. A little run down and some stuff isn’t working as described (pool slide) but overall a nice place to unwind for a day or two.

Wonderful Marina with plenty of fantastic amenities. The perfect halftime check in point to take a long shower, do a swim in the pools, and have a decent dinner in their restaurant. We highly recommend it.

Only complaint was that I had paid through Dockwa for 50 Amp electric service. When checking out at Scrub Island, I was informed there was an additional charge.

Property in excellent conditions . The staff very courteous . Stayed 2 extra days!! Will be back.

The dock staff was very helpful in getting us tied up to the dock and assisting us in troubleshooting our shore power issue. We ended up having a bad shore cable and Conch Charters came out to bring us a new one. The 2 pools were nice. Plenty of giant fish to see at night. A very fun marina. Will try to stay here in a room next timw we visit. Our breakfast sandwiches were fantastic.

Nice friendly place to stay. Beach was rocky and full of seaweed but the swimup pool bar was fun.

The dock staff was excellent with helping us back into our slip. The upper pool is lots of fun, and the open air restaurant was good.

Location, pool view from negative edge pool is unbelievable, great food, spa massage is unbelievable and views are to die for

We LOVE scrub. We specifically chose scrub island resort after 5 days on the boat. We needed some creature comforts! Dock staff was amazing and Cardamoms restaurant is top notch.

They charged us 2x! Said the dockwa payment didn't go through and asked for a other payment... Then a day after we left the dockwa payment went through... The facilities are great. The Staff is very friendly.

Very nice resort. Dockmaster was very attentive and helpful. Bartenders were not friendly but dining room staff was very nice. Restrooms/showers are not air conditioned and therefore they are very hot and humid. \n

Request made to stay, their calendar showed availability. No response received from Marina. Could not plan our sailing route as waiting for response- delayed our holiday by 1/2 day. I also sent a direct message to Marina but also did not respond to this. Extremely disappointed as would have expected a much higher level of customer service and communication from this Marina. This is a beautiful spot. We enjoyed the amenities after a week in a boat. The staff was very helpful and welcoming the gym was top notch the food and drinks were first class and of course a long shower was the best part! Will always pick a day each trip to come here!

We had a great time at Scrub Island Marina and Resort. The marina dock employees were very helpful and friendly. The resort is amazing. Highly recommend getting massages at the spa with Santi. Restaurant food is great and bar staff also very friendly and helpful. The snorkeling across from the hotel is outstanding. I wish we could stay longer! No complaints here. We’ll definitely come back.

Scrub island cancelled my berth with just 24 notice Avoid

Beautiful spot. At the last minute, our reserved boat slip was not available, forcing us to pick up a mooring instead. Not a huge deal but we missed the option to hook up to power and have one night not rolling with the waves overnight. No real explanation given.

Our dock was cancelled the night before. Scrub Island lost all their Dockwa moorings and we had no other place reserved. Very bad experience and I’d like a confirmation that we the charges will be reversed - no cost to me. Richard Turner

Although we had dock space reserved there was no dock space. We understand why, but we stayed on a ball nearby and have not been reimbursed our dock fee yet.

I was beyond disappointed in this marina. It is extremely overpriced for the level of service. The deli closed 20 minutes before they are supposed to and there are extremely rude. We showed up at 20min till the hour and begged the one staff member there for ice, when he finally agreed to open up the ice chest for us he said it was cash only, as I am pretty confident he just pocketed the money. The dock master was no help for any questions we had and honestly does not know how to tie off boats. I was blown away by this as every other harbor we visited in thE BVI’s was fantastic. The staff there in general was extremely unorganized and seemed to be annoyed when you asked for help. The amenities were awful; showers are gross and the fitness center was a train wreck.

The Resort was in very good condition, the restaurant served a good meal, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. They have very good WiFi, which allowed us to do online proctored COVID-19 antigen tests for our return flights to the US. This is a very handy location to connect with friends arriving through Beef Island. The only glitch in our experience was that the Resort and Dockwa had different slip fees (Dockwa's was $1/foot more than the Resort advertised--and confirmed on site). I suspect there is/was a fault in their communications. This is not a reason to avoid the Resort, just make sure that you know, in advance, what you're paying.

Facilities are great! Good docks, water and electric. Paul the dock master was extremely accommodating and professional!

Not our first time here by bare boat charters however it is our first time since the Hurricanes and you could not tell anything happened! All great , people, staff , facilities and fun!!!! Beautiful in every direction. The marina staff was on point and professional.
