Newmark's Yacht Centre

Newmark's is the old style california marina with rickety wooden docks. While there is a gate to the docks, it is never closed. This has not been a problem as there are plenty of folks around that keep an eye on things. There are ample dock carts and the shower/head facilities are adequate. One negative aspect to Newmark's is its location: it is next to a scrap steel rendering plant that puts alot of steel dust in the air (resulting in little rust spots on the deck from the moring dew). Newmarks is also 45 minutes from the sea (through Angel's Gate)
